Brought to you from the same people at CDC Resources, the charity that aids the developmentally disabled. Since I enjoy shopping at the thrift store in Monticello, IN so much, my curiosity got the better of me so I drove the hour it took to get to this thrift store and flea market combination. I’m so glad I did. I spent two hours leisurely browsing the three buildings. The main building houses the flea market and the clothing, kitchenware, linen, hobby and bric-à-brac departments of the CDC thrift store. The second building is labeled«The Man Shop» where computer parts, exercise, lawn and sports equipment is located. The third building his labeled«Furniture Hut». I bought two swimsuits which looked new — a Ralph Lauren two piece($ 10) and an Oscar de la Renta one piece mini dress($ 5). A leather dress($ 5) and a formal gown($ 10) tempted me, but I didn’t have an immediate use for either. I also bought a pretty, crystal necklace($ 4) for the crystal pieces to take apart and make into miniature Christmas ornaments for my dollhouse. I might only make it once or twice a year, but if it were down the street, I would check this place out every weekend. It’s too great!
