Final note. The claims guy said he’d call the next Monday. A month later, when I call him, he says, «let me call them now to see what happened, then I’ll call you right back. Surprisingly he did call right back. He said we’d get no money because reportedly we initialed something that«waved our right to check things off.» Seriously, stay as far away from this company as you can get. If for whatever reason, you end up hiring them, get a detailed list of your items, get them to sign it, also get in writing how many warehouses your items can be housed in, and if they can be separated. Remember, they are nice and charming at the beginning because they want your business. The don’t care about you or your stuff.

Moved an entire 3 bedroom home from Reno to Dallas. Mike Burney did an excellent job with the quote and communicating with us. I was surprised when a Mayflower driver showed up at the door(United and Mayflower are sister companies I learned). I was a bit disappointed with the Reno loading crew, as they were determined to make the load a two day job. Their loading of the truck was somewhat haphazard, and they damaged a few things in the process. The driver loaded the truck on day two. The driver was great, and our goods arrived in the promised time window. The Dallas unloading crew was great and very hard working. I was very pleased with the care they took in moving our possessions. Overall I was very pleased with the exception of the Reno loading crew.

You won’t find a more honest and ethical moving company in Nevada. This 3rd generation family owned and operated business offers the most seamless move process with a polite and organized move coordinator. I’d recommend using Puliz to anyone looking to hire a moving company. I was also very happy to see how involved in community service this company is.

We had a great move with Puliz. Mike Burney did an excellent job in communicating with us, and was very responsive to our needs. The moving crew showed up on time and did an outstanding job in loading over 10,000 lbs of household effects. They delivered them to our new home over 900 miles away only 2 days later. We were a difficult project, in that our new home had a long winding driveway that made it impossible for the large moving van to negotiate. Puliz was great about setting up a smaller truck as a shuttle, and got us moved in with hardly any delay. Not a single item was damaged, and they were more than helpful in getting all the large items of furniture set up exactly where we wanted them. Our shipment actually weighed a little less than estimated, and even with the extra cost of the shuttle, Mike was very prompt about refunding us several hundred dollars due to the reduced weight. In retrospect, I’m glad that I didn’t have a chance to check the reviews on Unilocal prior to our move, as I might have been scared away by the couple of bad reviews. Although I can’t speak for everyone, I’d be very happy to use Puliz again. One of the best moving experiences we’ve had, and we have moved a lot.

One of the Worst! Have been waiting 2 weeks for a call back to discuss some issues. Finally 1 yesterday, of course I missed call, saying would call back… never did. Movers horrible. Quote given was to include some things that movers«oh we don’t do that.» Had to call back the week of move to see if salesrep got msg week prior that wanted to confirm job. Should have been a HUGE red flag then. Would not suggest this moving company to anyone!

In town move was half the price of 2 other movers and seamless. We had to reschedule last minute due to a snafu at closing and Puliz was very accommodating. The estimator was professional and thorough, and the movers were conciseness.

I had a horrible experience with Puliz company. They have no internal communication so my furniture sat in the warehouse for 10 days, and everytime time I called to figure out where it was they made me feel like a moron and kept passing it on to other people. Then, when I was finally able to locate my furniture(at their warehouse) I refused to pay for delivery(let me just say it was delivered with a zero balance and that is exactly what I signed for) – after several phone calls where they ADMITTED they f-ed up somehow I was still responsible for payment. They are morons and I will never be using them again — and I would suggest that no one else does either.

After filing a complaint with the BBB, Tim Puliz, the president of Puliz became involved in the process. Though there were a lot of screw ups on Puliz’s part, Tim readily admitted fault and went out of his way(personally) to fix the problems I was having with Puliz and United. It shows a lot of class and professionalism to admit they were wrong and even more to help me the way Tim has. My claim has been processed and taken care of. I still disagree with the way the packers/loaders marked false damages against my goods. But, as Tim explained to me, Puliz does not condone this practice nor encourage it. I suppose I can’t fault him. It really boils down to lower management and their oversight of their employees. Can’t blame Bush for what went down at Abu Gharib after all… Anyway, Tim took care of everything quickly and professionally. They have been in business as long as they have for a reason I suppose. But, would I use Puliz in the future? Possibly. Knowing now that they will fix their faults, would make me more inclined to use them. But I would probably look around first… I would ask that Tim perhaps get with his lower management and enforce the correct listing of damages against customer belongings. And also have the packers/loaders MAKESURE that the customers understand what the codes mean, so they don’t feel like they were intentionally mislead as I was. But it is his company… Thanks for taking care of me Tim. I greatly appreciate your professionalism.

Salesperson told us one thing, then the Puliz Moving and Storage team turned up, it took twice as long and cost twice as much as what the salersperson said. Then the team manager told us(as he rushed to get out of our house complaining it was getting dark, it was late, etc), …don’t worry, everything is here and if it isn’t I will personally find your missing item in our warehouse…, and, …if you find any damage or problems, just call us and we will take care of it. But then the claims manager denied everything the salesperson and the team told us, sent us a letter denying our $ 132 claim, referencing a bunch of paperwork she said she enclosed but she didn’t. When I requested the paperwork, she never responded to my repeated inquiries Don’t use Puliz!
