As everyone knows by now, Paul kills at hosting UYEs! This one was on the mellower side, but still really enjoyable.
The IPA on tap that I tried was the Hopalong Cassidy. It was good, but heavy on the grapefruit flavor to me. The bonus is that I did not know they had wine available and we were able to switch to a nice Cotes du Rhone to go with our food.
Erica and I decided to split their mussels and the steak salad. Both were seasoned perfectly and the mussels were not over cooked. The spicy broth the mussels came in was very good and I found myself wishing for crusty bread rather than the fries that came with the meal.
I’m with Paul on the service. It was good, but could have been better and they definitely need to speak up when bringing the food out. That way they can get the food to the appropriate person straight away.
The people that I got to meet and speak with were enjoyable and I really like connecting with new Unilocalers and not Unilocalers at the UYEs.

Awesome People! Excellent food! Great beer! Thanks for another fantastic UYE Paul!
I had the Wit Album beer. It was a Belgian ale with a light, crisp flavor. Refreshing.
For dinner I had the Brasserie Burger with a Veggie patty instead of beef. Great sandwich! I had a salad on the side and really enjoyed their Dijon vinaigrette.
Another fun night of hanging with fellow Unilocalers talking, laughing and enjoying a great evening out.

Atmosphere — 5 stars
Food — 5 stars
Service — 4 stars
Background — Time to have the beer club meet at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival’s Best Mid Sized Brewpub & Breweries location right here in Reno. The UYE did not official start till 6 PM but I indicated that I would be at the bar by 5:30.
Atmosphere — The place is divided into a lot of little rooms that make it cozy. We had several long table pushed together. We sat in the back bar area. We had a small group so it was not bad.
Food
Drinks — Yeah I had several beers tonight. I know you are surprised. Gotta love Hopalong Cassidy name for their double IPA.
My Main Course — The Pig and Kraut, so yummy. I was told I was a vacuum. Yeah I inhaled my food. The pulled pork was so good with the kraut. Yeah I could eat this again.
Service — She was nice but could have been better.
Future — We will be back.
