Pretty good food(burger) and friendly service. Breakfast is only served until 10:30, despite it being listed online as all day. This place is on par with other airport sit-down restaurants.

Service was non existent. Severely understaffed. Questionable food handling practices. Indifferent staff. Had to constantly ask for service vs being attended to. Food was cold(fries) but sandwich was ok.

Waiting for our shuttle, we decided to stop in for a bite. We wandered in and decided to seat ourselves since no one was at the entrance to greet us. We attempted to find a clean table or countertop, but the place was disgusting. Dirty dishes and food mess everywhere. We sat at the cleanest area at the counter and waited. The servers walked by us a few times with their heads down and didn’t say a word as they frantically bussed tables. I grabbed a menu from another table and started browsing. Still nothing. We gave it a couple of minutes and left since we were never acknowledged.

Worst service and worst food I ever had. If you wanna stay on the safe side order something fried, they can’t mess that up.

Just keeping this short. Service: Full service kind of setup. Service was pretty good. Exception being, it was super early in the morning and besides my table of 3 guests. There were only 2 other diners sitting in. Food: Breakfast Burrito: Something about the eggs tasted a little off. Not sure if they just use a carton of yolks to make the scrambled eggs or it’s the same type that IHOP uses. Besides the humongous portion of egg, the other toppings are a bit scarce. Ask for another plastic ramekin of salsa and dunk it. Is it worth it? For something you can devour pretty fast in a hurry maybe. If you had more time to enjoy your food, I’d order something else. Not sure when I’ll be back to Reno /Lake Tahoe, but this is a borderline meh — ok place inside the quiet Reno airport that’s located outside of the security check point.

Absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced while traveling… Horrible job at the only place to eat while waiting for shuttles.

I had the BLT. It was good! Yummy bacon and the bread wasn’t so hard it hurts the roof of your mouth. The fries were also very good. OJ was also fresh and good. Prices are high and $ 13 for a screwdriver is almost robbery. IMO

i went to this diner today and order some chicken wings off the menu. i paid $ 13.80 plus tip and recieved three whole wings and no fries for that price. i paid $ 4.60 a wing, these prices are highway robbery. when i spoke to the manager she supported the amount saying you only get 12oz of wings for that price.(they weighed it out) i have never seen such high prices for chicken wings. do not do business with this venue.

This is the third time I have had a meal here prior to boarding an airplane. This time I sat at a table and was given a menu by my sever James. I think He was in the process of training a new server because I observed that she kept asking him questions. He was very patient and helpful to the other server. I ordered a Burger well done with Bacon and a Pepsi. The burger came perfect except no bacon. I actually forgot there wasn’t any bacon until I was half way done and I told James and he apologized and offered to get me some immediately. He was so pleasant and the burger was so good I refused the bacon. The service was so good I actually took the time to fill out their online survey in hopes that his manager will see it. My meal was $ 14.52. I will be back when I have to take another flight.

One star because zero was not available. I stopped in to watch NFL playoffs while waiting on friends plane to arrive. I ordered a beer and after paying asked for channel to be changed to night game. I was then told that they were closing in 10 minutes and they refused to change the television to the second game. This was at 5:30. I would never had expected a restaurant to close at 5:30. Worst service I have received. Hopefully the Reno airport finds new tenants to support locals waiting for their family and friends.

Meh. Why do most restaurants in airports have to be so sucky? This place looks very nice. And the food is alright. It’s edible. It’s not delicious. But it’ll hold you over until you get some place better. The food sounds way better than it really is. Don’t let the menu descriptions fool you. However the menu describes it(particularly with regards to dipping sauces, etc.) is not how it’ll actually be. The service is subpar at best. You’ll be ignored for the most part. And note that the kitchen typically closes at 6:00pm.

While waiting for my husband’s slightly delayed flight, I settled in for a vodka tonic(double for $ 2 more) and a bowl of clam chowder. Service is fine; the chowder was fine. If you’re stuck in an airport waiting for someone, this will probably serve a purpose to replenish your caloric needs. Note: it is is outside security.

I went to the airport to catch an earlier flight but I was hungry and didn’t care anymore. This place was the first thing I saw and I just told myself, if all else fails, I can always order eggs and orange juice. So, I got my orange juice. But they were no longer serving breakfast at 10:58am. Fine! There were only 2 other diners while I was there and the servers looked bored. I stared at the menu but couldn’t find anything I want. There was salmon and some chicken dish cooked in white wine — which could be awesome or a total disaster. The server kept asking me if I was ready. If I were, I would’ve said so. I was not in the mood to be my own guinea pig so I went with the BLT. BLT: What caught my attention was the garlic aioli. I’ve always liked the simplicity of a BLT sandwich. The aioli was delicious. But the fries it came with were extremely oily! They were glistening. I had to pat them dry with a napkin. 3⁄5 This is located before security check. It’s ok if you’re desperate for a meal at the airport. You don’t really have a lot of options here.

A solid new addition to the RNO lineup. Service was fast and friendly. Wifey had breakfast(egg plate), and I had lunch(chopped salad), and both were great. Prices are reasonable. And, they have outdoor seating! Well not really, but they have tables in a roped off area on the main floor by the slot machines, so in airport bizarro world, it’s outside I guess…

I have to agree with others who say the service is super slow because it is. Like unnecessarily slow. Do they not realize people have flights to catch? I’m pretty sure the line for security moves quicker than they do. The first time I went there I was really hungry and needed to eat quick. I ordered a chicken caesar salad to-go from the bartender. She didn’t seem very friendly. She made me feel like a burden for having to order from her. Sorry that I want you to be pleasant and do your job? I paid for an overpriced salad and the chicken was dry. I know it was grilled, but it was so dry I couldn’t enjoy it to the fullest. The croutons sucked, too. I’ve had some pretty delicious Caesar salads, but not this time. I had to eat it all because it was so expensive. I hope that if I find myself hungry and choosing to eat here again, they at least have outgoing employees and a bigger menu. Maybe they have growing pains because it is a relatively new restaurant. I guess I had high standards for this place because it does look pretty nice. That doesn’t always mean nice food and service though.

It’s just alarming how bad the service is but how good the food is compared to airport outlets. Speaking of outlets, USB and regular old outlets are scattered every where, it’s a real nice perk for travelers.

The food is overpriced, the quality is just ok. But, it’s the best option at Reno airport.

They serve breakfast all day. Prices are not out of this world. Had the ‘healthy’ egg skillet which had, in my opinion, too much cheese. Other than that, it was a delicious egg skillet with avocado on top. Didn’t see our server too much. For a restaurant in an airport, I’d eat here while their food court remains under renovation.

This place needs to re-think their cooking strategy OR warn people from the moment they step foot inside the entrance that they should only eat here if they have at least an hour to kill before they catch their flight. Like legions of others, if I had an early morning flight to catch, I usually grabbed a quick meal at the McDonald’s before heading up towards the TSA line. Not the healthiest choice, but it worked if you just needed something fast and easy. As of the end of August when I was last at the airport, this was still the only option to eat at before going through the security line. I sat down and informed my server I only had 30 minutes — would I be able to get a breakfast burrito in time? No problem, I was assured. The burrito arrived in 27 minutes. So much for having a few minutes to relax and eat. I had to have them throw it into a to-go container. To top it all off, the burrito itself was terrible. D I S A P P O I N T E D.

2 stars is generous, actually! This place is pretty whack for an airport restaurant. Usually food in airports is somewhat decent(or at least has some sort of appeal). This is the only open place to eat at the Reno Airport, bc they are remodeling. We went there twice– this review is a mashup of both visits! THEORDER: Asian Veggie Stir Fry w Brown Rice– 2.5 stars. While the veggies were yummy, there weren’t that many :(The sauce was tasty, but definitely not unique. The rice itself was a bit mushy and not very fresh. Portion size was weak. But, this dish did taste good. BLT w Fries– 3 stars. The BLT itself was pretty good! Crunchy, chewy, etc. The fries were a bit lackluster. Obviously fresh cut potatoes, which is a plus, but overall boring. I added tabasco and ketchup to these poor little puppies! Bean Soup– 2 stars. We were told this was a delightful bean and veggie soup with a bit of a kick. Sounds good to me! Well, it had some sort of ground meat in it(which i don’t think counts as a vegetable?), no flavor and not a hint of spice. I added salt. ½ Mountain House Salad + ½ Big Game Meatloaf Sandwich…2 stars. The meatloaf itself was really good; thick, flavorful, dense, etc. It’s a blend of venison, beef, and elk. The chipotle BBQ sauce was a nice touch, but it needed more. I doused it with plenty of Tabasco and it was yummy. The ½ house salad SUCKED balls! There was little to no dressing… it was plated on a heated plate and then sat below a heat lamp. That makes no sense… at all. It’s SALAD! And, the salad portion was ridiculously small. Might as well have been a garnish. Cheese Toast– 3 stars. While this was simple and ghetto, it tasted good in an unhealthy, greasy way. Cheddar cheese atop of a weak french roll, served grilled with roasted tomatoes and garlic. It was actually good, just not very gourmet. Looks like something they’d think was fancy at a trailer park. THESERVICE: 2 stars. Just bad. Bad cooks, bad waitstaff. There were a few people who were great, like the bus boy, etc., tho, so I can’t discredit all of them! OVERALL: Well, I guess I’ll have no choice but to eat here again if its the only place open still… but, next time, I’ll go for a burger and a strawberry shake. A bit overpriced when you consider slow service and lame portion sizes. ALSO: They didn’t have any spicy option but Tabasco. No Sriracha, no Tapatio, no chili flakes :( I DONOTRECOMMENDTOANYTRAVELING UnilocalER! xo– andrea
