Simply, stay away from these crooks. They’re rude, don’t do what they are asked to do, and charge you more than they say they will.
I went in with a coupon for a $ 29.99 oil change and tire rotation. I left $ 90 poorer with no tire rotation. I knew going into it that it would cost more than the coupon because I wanted synthetic oil which was not covered with the coupon. Fine. The very surly fella holding the front counter up said it would cost me $ 65 to $ 70. I knew I could get cheaper elsewhere, but I really needed my tires rotated before winter.
The challenge started before I gave him my keys. I noted that my check engine light came on as I drove to the shop that day. I asked if his guys could see what the problem was. He said sure, but that it would cost an hour of labor at $ 95. I drive an older Audi. I told him I can get it done cheaper elsewhere, he said very sourly, «Good luck» like I was an ass for driving a car worth more than the crappy singlewide trailer he rolled out of that morning.
Fifty minutes later, I get a call on my phone from Midas saying they can’t get the center caps off my tires, so they can’t rotate the tires. They asked me to come back to take the caps off myself. I knew at this point that I was dealing with mechanical nincompoops so I just told them to not worry about it. I figured the guy would give me a discount for failing to fulfill the services I needed to get done. Instead, he gives me a bill for $ 90. When I told him I could have gotten this same service done for $ 50 elsewhere, he says, «I doubt it.» I told him that his attitude lost my patronage for the brake job I need. He said, «I don’t want to do your brakes anyway.» Coincidentally, his shop schedule was on the counter he was holding up. I was one of three customers he had that day.
I called the owner of the shop — Lou. He assured me he would look into the matter. I’ve never heard back from him. They’ll never hear back from me either and I recommend they never hear from you.

For oil changes, they are great. Even with no appointment, they can work you in the same day. Staff are friendly and helpful.
