Lois Kidder – Chase International

I rented a house through Lois a while ago (a little late on my review) but she was awesome! She was very friendly and helpful. She took her time to make sure I got into the house I wanted and made sure I was happy. I would recommend her and would rent from her again!

We are extremely impressed with the Property Management done by Lois Kidder and Chase International. I actually found Lois by going to Unilocal and reading reviews!
Everything I read was convincing; therefore, my husband and I interviewed Lois as well as a few other managers. Lois was our first choice. She was extremely knowledgeable, eager to ask questions and LISTEN to answers. There was no doubt she really liked our house and would try her best to find a suitable tenant — and she has done exactly that!
Our house in Reno has now been rented for 5 months. The attention to detail before placing a tenant in our house was very impressive. She reviewed with us expectations and regulations for both tenant and landlord.
As a real estate professional, Lois is involved with issues surrounding landlord/​tenant relations. She also knows the market well in Reno (and in the greater Reno area); therefore, she is realistic about what to expect price-​wise for a property and reads people well — this helps in finding a good landlord/​tenant match. Lois truly advocates for both sides (landlord and tenant).
We had never rented out our «home» in Reno, We cherished it — (still do) we had added many special attributes/​amenities to the house and were concerned that the «right» person (tenant) would also appreciate the house and take good care of it.
Thanks to Lois, her choice of tenants and her very professional oversight, we feel our «home» is now in good hands!

I wish I could give them zero stars. Lois is unprofessional and she is EXTREMELY rude! I will never do future business with her or Chase international! I can’t even fathom how she has a job in customer services, I have never been treated so poorly. I suggest avoiding this company and Lois at all costs!

Unfortunately we moved into a property managed by Lois Kidder. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely by a landlord/​property manager. We have been in the home less than 3 months and already look forward to the day our lease is up! The rental we are in was marketed as a «luxury» rental and the reviews on Unilocal looked like this would be a good choice. That could not be further from the truth. The one star that comes with this review goes to the handyman who actually answers his phone and tries to resolve any problems we have. Lois kidder will not return phone calls she will only send E-​mails and does NOT work on weekends. Tenant care is non-​existent here!

I bought a home recently represented by Donna Spear and Wes Waltenspiel. They were professional, available, and very helpful throughout the process. Any home I had interest in viewing was immediately arranged according to my schedule. They were available to meet the home inspectors when I could not be there once I had entered escrow. After the close of escrow they continued to assist and resolve issues with the home. They personally resolved a financial issue that became apparent only after the close of escrow. I highly recommend them to anyone considering buying or selling a home. I will definitely seek their services for every further real estate transaction I embark on in the future.

My previous roommates and I recently rented a property with Chase International Property Management under the caring guidance of Lois Kidder. From move in to move out Lois was attentive to our needs as tenants, responsive and always professional. She treated my roommates and I with the touch of a Realtor who truly cares about the well being of her clientele though we were merely renters. The entire process was seamless and enjoyable. When I am ready to take the leap of buying, Lois will be my first choice to work with. She obviously has the experience but even more importantly she has the heart. Lois is amazing. I don’t own an estate, a mansion, or even a very big house, but Lois treats my humble little rental in NW Reno as if it were worthy of kings and finds me the best tenants. She is honest, helpful, and just great to talk to. I highly recommend her for property management and real estate services.
