I’ve heard that this truck goes to Reno street food but every Friday I went, they weren’t there. Finally I had the chance to try their cookie sandwiches. I was most intrigued by the red velvet cookie. When I went to order, red velvet wasn’t an option. I got snickerdoodle cookie and mint ice cream. A weird combo I know but I was looking to just try the taste of the cookie because I know she makes them fresh. You really can tell the cookie is fresh. I did take a bite of the cookie and ice cream together just to see how the textures were. Like i said they were great. I just ended up eating the ice cream plain by itself. There’s also banana splits and sundaes on the menu I’d be willing to try.

This truck is amazing, not only do they have a practical price point they have good serving sizes and great ice cream. My daughter desperately wanted pink ice cream the owner suggested we get cake batter as kids seem to like it over their other pink flavor, strawberry. She was dead on. My super picky 3 year old was enamored by the sprinkles. My 6 year old who isn’t an ice cream person(I don’t get it either) asked for a second cone. So fat this is my favorite truck!

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! I had a sundae with Carmel Pecan and Mint Chip and it was sooooooooooo good!

Definitely not your run-of-the-mill ice cream truck, Lazy Sundae is a one-woman operation(with a little help from family) serving up hand-scooped strawberry, chocolate, caramel butter pecan, vanilla bean, and birthday cake ice cream for the past three years. Whether choosing a sundae($ 4) or banana split($ 6), you have your choice of homemade butterscotch, strawberry, and chocolate toppings. Gourmet ice cream sandwiches more your thing? Select a flavor of ice cream to place between your choice of homemade chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies and you’re all set($ 3.75). Waffle cones($ 2.50) and root beer floats($ 3.50) are also available. My sundae and my wife’s sandwich were a perfect capper to our evening food truck excursion.
