Hubby and I found ourselves down on the south end at 10 in the morning with nowhere to go and nothing to do. We remembered at that very moment we were right next to Joe Bobs and Denise works there now. We knew the odds were against us that she would be working but we tried our luck. The dark skies parted as we walked in the door and saw her beautiful smiling face! We caught up as she made us players cards and we enjoyed some cocktails for breakfast. We opted for a deep fried lunch and ordered the sampler platter and some hot wings. The hot wings are big and crispy with a great selection of sauces to top them. I love deep fried junk food so it was a guilty pleasure. Lots of bars in this town can provide you the same options but I think the personalized service and friendly attitude makes all the difference. Enjoy!

Amazing food, the wings were perfect. But the service was sucky. We didn’t even get forks to eat. Never got asked for refill, so be ready to go get all your own stuff.

Very good chicken. The baked beans were not sweet enough for me though. Garlic fries were good. Service was pleasant and didn’t hover. I appreciate that. Very good chicken joint

I like this place because you can walk in here, grab a seat at the bar and it’s not super busy on the weekdays. The first time I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal and my wife ordered some chicken tacos. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. She explained their specials they had on the day we were there. The food that we both ordered was very good. It exceeded my expectations. We have returned several times and tried other dishes. The happy hour is great, and they do it on the weekends too. They have a great deal on chicken wings. We tried all the different sauces and we both decide that we like regular and onion teriyaki the best. The wings are big and made fresh. They have them included in the happy hour. They have several tv s playing for anyone interested in watching sports. Machines at the bar if you want to gamble. Overall a great place to grab a drink and something to eat.

I don’t come to this local franchise often, came here with a group of 8 on Saturday afternoon and the thing that stood out was the amazing service. I really appreciate when a server doesn’t have a look of disgust when helping a large party. She was accommodating, friendly and excellent at her job. For instance, one of us ordered a diet coke, but changed to water before she left the table, she accidently brought a diet coke, which he was fine with, but in the end she didn’t charge him for it b/c he didn’t want it in the beginning(#runonsentences). The kitchen staff also messed up my gravy, I requested dark, they gave me light initially. I would have been fine but she brought out another side of mashed potatoes and dark gravy. And SHE offered to split our checks on top of all this! While the food isn’t spectacular… basically a greasy diner in a dive bar atmosphere, the service was excellent. Much better than I have had at the Sparks location.

At work and looking for new places to get lunch fast. I was hoping to have it delivered but after putting in my order and another co workers our order came out to 43… WOW two burger/fries and drinks. So I called and they explained to me that they don’t deliver they contract out to a company that comes and picks it up and brings it to me. Thats why all the additional add on cost. That aside we got off our butts and went and picked it up. 20.00 was our cost now. What a BIG difference. The burger was awesome and fresh. The sourdough bread was toasted just enough it didn’t hurt the roof of my mouth. Got another place for lunch now and a lot to choose from off their menu

I have ordered from this place twice and both experiences were horrible. My first experience involved me ordering To Go Spicy Chicken Tacos. The chicken was dry and I found myself dousing the tacos in salsa to find them edible. For my 2nd experience I dined in and ordered their Big Bad Boss burger. It was disgusting and nothing was special about the burger. My last and final experience at Joe Bob’s was just calling in and asking about their drink and food specials of the day. The bartender Annie, insisted that I physically come and read their specials board instead of just telling them to me over the phone. That seemed ludicrous to me! Why would a customer have to drive down to the restaurant to find out lunch specials? Annie asked me, «are you serious?» when I inquired about what was in their Tuesday special Chicken Noodle Soup. I couldn’t believe the level of attitude she gave me at 2 in the afternoon! I spoke to the owner John immediately following my last encounter and he just said he was sorry for my experience and hoped I would come back. Yeah Right! Is what I say to that.

Only been here once long time ago and didn’t really impressed me much. The fried chicken was okay, not bad not so special either. Service was good
My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the charboiled grilled chicken sandwich. We got boneless wings for appetizer. The wings were pretty good, the sandwiches were pretty good too. Didn’t care for the side of baked beans. Very bland and tasted straight out of the can. Our server was super nice. Service was great!
