Just not good at all. I have gone several times due to necessity and the coffee is not great, the food takes an eternity and is entirely underwhelming. The décor is odd. They try to offer different things like sushi and breakfast platters but it is very confusing and written in these poster boards with poor penmanship and tiny writing. It is just very tacky and I honestly don’t find any enjoyment in going in to this place. I wish Rounds was back here again!

I had a coffee here once. (I feel like that should speak for itself but I’ll continue) It was quite possibly the worst cup I’ve had. And I’ve made some bad batches at home. The taste was off, like the machine was dirty or something. I barely drank anything before throwing the whole thing away. When I went in to get the coffee, the place smelled like cleaner, which while it can be a reassuring sign that their business is clean, it was too powerful for me, like the cleaner was the air freshener. I also had a food item, which I can’t even remember at this point because it was so bad. It was probably a bagel. Like another reviewer said, if you’re looking for a great breakfast bagel, keep going.

So the lady who owns it is super friendly! That is the only best thing at this place. The bagels are stale, the food has no flavor, and nothing exciting about the meal. It got busy during lunch time and the last got super busy, all alone, that she messed up on my friends order AND it took her 45 minutes to make a 10 minute sandwich.

The sign twirler guy said good morning to me. To be honest that’s what got me in the door. Very open inside and a big American flag on the wall. I love that. Being a veteran I noticed there are military tribute posters on the wall, and a Navy graduation photo and the counter. I’m a big fan now. I ordered a breakfast sandwich; it came and was very basic. Nothing fancy, but I get the feeling this place and the owner come from humble beginnings. The woman that took my order was nice. She even brought me a fruit bowl just because. I also ordered up an iced mocha coffee. It’s funny because all the ice melted which reminds me of when I try to make the same thing at home. Still good though. They could use a little more speed in getting out their orders. A gentleman was already here when I came in and he ended up leaving before his breakfast platter came out. If I’m downtown early again I’ll probably swing by. Something about this place that just works for me.

Would like to suggest some things to eat: I’ve tried the lox bagel which is really good! You can pick which bagel you want and which cream cheese(if you don’t want regular cream cheese.) The Tahoe bagel is also good, and also the breakfast bagel. The sundried tomato cream cheese is really good. I’ve also tried their drinks like the vanilla latte and their strawberry Italian soda. The banana smoothie is good, but a little too much banana for my taste. I suggest you try this place if you are in the mood for a light snack. The staff is always friendly.

I hate writing bad reviews! I had breakfast here recently and it was probably one of the worst meals I have had in a very long time. I ordered the breakfast bagel with sausage, egg and cheese on a everything bagel. It was inedible. To start with the bagel tasted stale. It was toasted, but it was mostly dry and the outside was so hard, I could not bite through it. The sausage was a greasy grey slab of processed something that had no flavor other than grease. The two tiny blobs of scrambled egg looked processed as well and was tasteless. There was a little smear of cheese-like product. I also ordered mocha and it tasted OK when it was hot, but as it cooled is turned into a syrupy watery liquid with a strange off taste to it. The restaurant itself is attractive and comfortable and the staff were friendly, but seemed to have a difficult time understanding what we were ordering. We ordered at the counter and they brought the meal to the table in a short time. Perhaps something plainer may be better, but with all the other options available downtown, I a not sure I will give them another try.

Looking for a great breakfast bagel? Keep going, because you won’t find it here. I ordered the breakfast bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel was hard and dry, the sausage covered at most two thirds of the bagel and I am not sure what kind of sausage it was. The prefabricated egg was about a quarter the size of the bagel and tasteless. There was a yellow smear on the bottom of the bagel that I assumed was the cheese, though I could be wrong. The mocha was tasty while it was hot enough to scald my mouth, but once it cooled off enough to taste it, it turned into weak coffee with a succinct dissolved peppermint flavor. The restaurant was clean and inviting, with a home-like atmosphere. Service was pleasant and personable, and the people were friendly. They had a hard time explaining the different offerings on the menu, especially what the difference was between the two breakfast bagels. The posted descriptions of the bagels were identical, but one was a dollar more expensive. Still not sure what made one more expensive than the other, but I assume that one has two kinds of meat. I feel there are better choices for breakfast in downtown than the Courthouse Café.

Great boba tea & smoothies! I also really love the the fantastic service and how nice the wonderful staff is! I will definitely be back here again! The only thing I wish is that they were open later than 2pm :) but they are great and have excellent customer service with a smile! :)

I’ve only been here once, but the«monkey mocha» tasted like hot water with a little syrup. HORRIBLE! Service was good, but the barista had to call the manager over to help him with the drinks. If they knew the drink wasn’t made correctly, I would have preferred if they just remade… I won’t be returning to this café.

The last time I was there my bagel seemed day-old. I wasn’t thrilled with it, but am willing to give them another try.

2 stars for the excellent service, very hard working and very nice people but the sandwiches were horrible! We had the turkey with bacon & avocado on bread. The bread cost an extra buck but the bread crumbled(both the multi grain and the sourdough) and the turkey was more like bologna the strangest meat ever! We couldn’t eat it. I also want to add that there was a couple there that we’re sharing a sandwich and left most of it sitting there, it too was all crumbled bread and looked like a BBQ something. Hopefully the bagels are better.

Kim, the owner, is awesome! Great little place and the prices are amazingly reasonable. A short walk from downtown area is well worth it. According to my daughter the muffins«rock» and the smoothie was delicious. They serve bagels, breakfast, flavored coffee drinks, smoothies, muffins, cookies, etc. please come out and show Court House Café some love.
