Came here on New Year’s Eve for lunch with my siblings. We all opted for bento boxes. Overall, we all agreed it was a 3.5 star restaurant. The lemongrass soup was spicy, but delicious. The spring rolls were tasty too. My brother had the tropical thunder roll. He described it as, «Uh, not too bad. Not super good. It’s average.» Our server was nice. He forgot our soups, but we’re a pretty easy to please group. :)

I had such high hopes for saketumi, but was disappointed. I went with my girlfriend and her sister for sushi dinner. The sushi fish was fresh, but the fish in the rolls was disappointing. In fact, the rolls«haunted» me before I ever left the restaurant!(not something that usually happens to me) They also charged my girlfriends sister 33 $ for 3 shrimp avocado rolls(not a specialty roll). It is evident on their menu that non specialty rolls are usually priced from 5 – 7 dollars each. The reviews mentioning the miso soup were spot on though, it’s delicious. All in all, probably won’t be returning…

Loved the sushi here. The flavors are outstanding. And the crab wontons are different from other places. The shell tastes like those crispy Chinese noodles. Everything was super delicious and we loved the clean modern décor.

Ummm… This place is fabulous! Me and a friend was looking for a dinner spot and saw the Saketumi sign along the Coastal Highway. I wanted some good sushi for my birthday dinner and the ones I had here hit the right spot! Ordered the Volcano Roll, Spider Roll and the Dimsum Sampler with my friend enjoyed it. The Volcano Roll came in 4 pieces and the Spider roll with 5 pieces. Both rolls were huge and very filling, good thing i didnt order more. Also got the dimsum sample(shrimp dumpling, pork shumai and veg dumpling) and those were great as well. I personally enjoyed the vegetable dumpling, so fresh! I started off with 4 stars but then I changed it to 5 cuz of the bartender! LOL. Thanks for making my Pear Martini extra great and happy! Also I wanted to add the our waitress Raishel was on point with her service. Thanks a lot! This became a new fave spot when im up around this area again!

2nd visit and still blown away! This time we had 3 people in the party and we all opted for the hot menu over the sushi menu. Everyone was very pleased. Dish 1) Shrimp Pad Thai — excellent balance of sour(lime) and spicy. The shrimp was grilled perfectly and the noodles were tender. Dish 2) Mongolian Lamb Stir Fry — I was always used to Mongolian Beef, but their twist on this classic did not disappoint. Perfectly seasoned and very generous with the shaved lamb. Dish 3) Spicy Seafood Noodles — This was my favorite of the night. Generous portion of wide and flat noodles(similar to chow fun), vegetables, and a seafood medley of shrimp, scallops, and squid. All tossed together in a savory brown sauce. For drinks: I opted for the pot of green tea(since it was 20 degrees and snowing out). It was a vibrant green color with a nutty taste. Very different but very good! Another person ordered the Hot Sake and ended up having a second order. In my previous review, I explained I don’t like sake, so you’ll have to go on the fact my friend reordered, haha. Will definitely be going back over and over again.

My husband and I had dinner here for Valentine’s day and to be honest, it started out rough. I won’t go into details, but Laureen, our waitress, put a lot of effort into making our night end well once she recognized there was an issue. She really turned the night around and we were very lucky to have her. The food was delicious! We ordered the shumai, which was tasty. The surf clam sushi was incredibly tasty, probably the best I’ve had. I ordered the Thai red curry crispy duck, especially since Laureen had suggested it, and so good! My husband said the sushi was very fresh, and loved the toro sushi. He also said it was the best he’s ever had. We came to DE for a wedding and we are thinking about coming back for the summer. We are definitely going to come back here if we do!

Waiter was amazing. He was fast and keeping up with the entire bar area and it was busy during the happy hour. Food was ok: i had the surf and turf: my steak was a bit over cooked and dry as well as the lobster. My wife had several apatizers which she said were all good. Drinks were very good. The atmosphere was good but we were both disappointed that they don’t have fried rice with any of their meals… only white and brown rice. :-(
