Rehoboth Guest House

A really sweet B&B type of experience. we spend a week here every summer and what a terrific location. Walking distance is about 8 min to the boardwalk and ocean. About a 3 min walk to all the LGBT friendly restaurants, shops and pub via the secret back gate from the garden. A nice breakfast spread of healthy eggs & sweet treats is set out all morning. We stayed on the third floor with our own bath, and got a reserved parking space a short walk away, in high season this is critical. In 2013 we had our wedding at the guest house. Our managers were our witnesses and they cleared out the main room to accommodate our officiant, and treated these two girls like queens for the day. We stay there again and again. We just visited our third time and it was as great as the rest. Tom was amazing and made us totally feel welcome. It was hard to leave the front porch. we are looking forward to our next visit. this time we found the secret passage/​shortcut to the next street with the restaurants. The new parking spaces are a lot closer than the previous ones. Rambo is still a cutie.

My husband and I recently went for a spring break getaway. We were super excited to get out of town for a couple of days and head to the beach. We are from Baltimore, so the spring in Baltimore can be tricky, however it ended up being a fantastic day for a drive over the bay bridge. The weather was gorgeous, and ultimately our destination was equally as gorgeous. When we arrived to the Rehoboth Guest House we were greeted by, Innkeeper Tom and Arlene (I believe was her name), they both did a fantastic job in welcoming us, and showing us around the property.
The place is very clean, smells good, and decorated very well. They have a small pantry where they keep tea, coffee and a microwave for the guest. The location is in the middle of everything, so you do not need to drive.
We had found the Guest House through an amazing Groupon but after staying there my husband and I are already planning on going back and are convinced this is Rehoboth’s best kept secret.
I recommend this B&B very highly. Love this house and the staff… thank you for such a wonderful stay!

I had the pleasure of staying here twice in the past few months. The location is perfect! Just a stone’s throw away from the shops and restaurants along Rehoboth Avenue and a couple blocks from the beach and boardwalk. The innkeeper (and his very friendly and adorable chihuahua Rambo) was very professional and inviting and went out of his way to accommodate us and the other guests as most of us were runners and in town for the Rehoboth Beach Marathon. The rooms are tastefully decorated and casually modern yet very comfortable and inviting. I highly definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cozy, comfortable, and quiet place to stay in Rehoboth Beach with a great location!

Beautiful, elegant, great location, great value, awesome breakfast, really quiet, — it has everything. Lovely stay the past couple of days. You are in the heart of Rehoboth — but at a wonderful friends beautiful home. We came on a Living Social offer — and have already booked another stay!

We had a great time! The place was beautiful, very clean and obviously well taken care of. The food each morning was delicious. Home made baked goods, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit… Then there was Rambo. We love dogs and Rambo is the house chihuahua and he was super adorable and loved everybody. Tom was a great innkeeper. We asked for a late check out as we had some plans in the morning and wanted to come back and shower. Since there was nobody else checking in the next day, he said to stay as long as we needed. We will definitely come back and recommend rehoboth guest house to everybody!

The best B and B I have stayed in not only in the area, but in the States!
Tom is a great host, makes you feel immediately welcomed and it’s super clean– actually immaculate. Beautiful, décor and perfect location. Just a few blocks from the beach. They have everything you can possibly want from outdoor shower, to bicycles and beach chairs. The garden is charming and offers privacy despite the size.
Having said that, the staff was warm and attentive, and Tom made it ever so special. I arrived by myself and Tom personally took the time to help me park. Really, it is the kind of attention to details that you do not get in hotels or many places of hospitality.
Definitely will return and recommend to all my friends !

From the moment we walked in we were delighted with the amenities and the welcome we received from Tom, Frank and Garrett. The house is beautifully appointed and our room was lovely. We stayed in room #13 on the back side of the house with a queen size bed and private bathroom which opened to the backyard. You would think you would hear the guests on the back deck literally right outside of our door but you couldn’t because the rooms have been soundproofed. They have thought of everything to include an area where you can get water, coffee, tea, snacks at anytime. Their breakfast spread was lovely to include: fruit, cakes, eggs, sausage, coffee… you name it they supplied it to include wine and cheese on Saturday evenings for happy hour. They have an entrance on the side of the house for guests which leads either directly to the high-​traffic/​shop area or you can go the opposite way and enjoy a more serene walk among lovely homes. The only drawback is you can’t park at the B & B. You have to unload your belongings (doublepark) and then drive down the street to park but they provide a parking space elsewhere and who needs a car when everything is within walking distance? We will most definitely return when we visit Rehoboth.

We loved this place. Tom is such a warm, thoughtful and talented Innkeeper who is ready to accommodate every guest and make them feel just as they would if they were at home. The food was excellent, the room was perfect and the general living space was gorgeous. So much time (money) and love was put in to every inch of renovation there that it is impossible to be disappointed by these accommodations. We were lucky as the owners Frank and Garrett were in town and we had a wonderful time getting to know them. Also, we arrived after the back deck/​yard renovation was complete and it was beautiful space to enjoy. Our favorite spot though was the front porch which has tons of seating options and is perfect for chatting, wine drinking and people watching. Hope to be back again soon.

We stayed for the weekend and had a wonderful time. We were torn between a bed and breakfast or staying at a hotel, couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay at Guest House.
It’s walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfast array was superb– and when we lost our car keys they even spent 20 minutes to help us find them. Highly recommend this little slice of paradise (and the monkey bread!).

My wife and I spent last weekend at the RGH with friends and it was fabulous !
Entering the house from the beautiful front porch we were greeted by Steve and Rambo (the best behaved Chihuahua I have ever met). You enter the parlor to the aroma of delicious candles which you can purchase from them. Our room (#24) was immaculate with a ceiling fan and AC unit, as well as a 37″ flat screen TV. The bed was comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. The garden in the back is beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and an outdoor shower for the beach goers.
Breakfast is the best that I have had in any B&B that I have stayed in. There were pancakes, eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, cold, cereals, bread and bagels as well as cakes and cookies and all were delicious.
Steve and, his partner, Tom are the most warm and gracious hosts that I have met. They welcome you with open arms along with the aforementioned Rambo.
Rehoboth Beach is a wonderful little town and we will definitely be back to the RGH.

Best vacation ever! We stayed for an entire week in mid July. The innkeepers Tom, Steve, and Rambo were wonderful, charming hosts! There was a delicious breakfast served every morning. I’m talking coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, home fries, pastries, cakes, doughnuts… I could go on and on!!! The house is beautiful and really clean. The house itself smelled heavenly the entire stay. The deck and garden are beautiful and peaceful. My fiancé and I loved the outdoor showers in the garden. We actually never took showers inside lol.
Did I mention Location! Location! Location! We were steps away everything including the beach, boardwalk, many restaurants and shops! We never had to drive anywhere. We didn’t want to leave and actually booked our next stay before we checked out lol

We stayed for 3 nights after the 4^th of July weekend. As other reviewers have said, the house and grounds are beautiful, the inkeepers are very welcoming and hospitable, Rambo the chihuahua is the sweetest ever, and the location of the house is awesome (on a quiet side street but still close to everything). The rates for the rooms are amazing for what you get — especially in season!
Just one suggestion (not a deal breaker by any means!) — have a Keurig in the guest kitchenette area instead of the big carafes of coffee. Since breakfast isn’t until 8am, us early risers would like to have the option to have a fresh cup of coffee instead of walking to Dunkin Donuts.

This was our first bed and breakfast experience ever and it was a great one! The Rehobeth Guest House is in an excellent location! It was clean, calm and comfortable. The innkeepers were very nice and accommodating as well. We stayed on the 3^rd floor in room 33. It was well decorated and has its own bathroom. The only downside was that the room was small and there wasn’t much space to store things. Then again, we didn’t spend much time in the room. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and admiring the lovely landscaping.
We would absolutely recommend the Rehobeth Guest House and will definitely return again someday.

The Rehoboth Guesthouse! What a unique experience.
First off, let me start by saying that the place is extremely well located, clean, and overall aesthetically pleasing.
Now on to what really made this a unique experience and why if I could I’d give them 0 stars I would: the owners and the hosts.
I have never been so disrespected in my life. Let me elaborate.
We arrived Friday night at 1030 pm after spending a few hours in traffic. They received us with a nice welcome, handed us the keys and asked for the payment to get it out of the way. We gave them our cards and headed upstairs to our room. Like I mentioned, room was nice. We went outside to where the hosts and other guests were having a couple of drinks and hung out for a bit before heading out for the night.
The next morning, we woke up early to partake in the nice breakfast provided, and proceeded to bring our own bottle of champagne and orange juice for mimosas. We sat outside and as soon as one of the hosts saw us he said: «the orange juice is for the house, not just for mimosas». My boyfriend explained we purchased the juice ourselves, to which the host rolled his eyes and said «whatever». We didn’t think much of it having a clean conscience knowing we did nothing wrong and carried on with our day.
Throughout the rest of our stay, we kept getting looks and the orange juice story kept coming up. I couldn’t believe that we were being accused of stealing because #1 we bought the damn orange juice and #2 it is a bed and breakfast, wouldn’t orange juice be included as part of the breakfast anyway? Are they also suggesting we also stole the eggs and sausage we ate earlier that morning?
Saturday evening, we were in our room having a few drinks and getting ready to go out when we were told to close our room door so that other guests could rest if they felt like it. Completely understandable and we abided. It wasn’t late and we weren’t blasting the speakers so we agreed. No harm done.
Sunday was fine.
Monday morning, I woke up at 6 am to go work out. One of the other guests in the house asked me if I knew anything about the disturbance at night. I honestly didn’t. I came back at around 9 in the morning to find my house mates kicked out. When I asked what happened, they said that at 830am, the owner and the host barged into our room without knocking, rudely woke up everyone, and told them that they had 10 minutes to leave or they were calling the cops.
My friend still in shock of being woken up so abruptly went downstairs to try and make some sense of what happened. Both the owner and the host proceeded to claim that we stole property (the orange juice AGAIN!), that we were getting into fights, and that we were being disrespectful to the whole house. Then they proceeded to tell my friend that most likely it wasn’t all of us but maybe the «tiny one with the beard» who caused the issue.
I happen to be the «tiny one with the beard». I know the readers do not know me, but all I have to say is I have never been kicked out of any hotel or guest house I’ve ever been to, I was nothing but nice and polite the whole time I was there, and I was asleep by 11pm that night and up by 6am to go work out. I’m sure that’s a clear example of someone who would merit getting kicked out and threatened to have the cops called on.
I am not sure of what happened that night that was so terrible as I had nothing to do with it, but I will say this: it was so bad and so loud that I didn’t wake up, my boyfriend didn’t wake up, the owners didn’t wake up, and the hosts didn’t wake up (because both owners and hosts said they didn’t see/​hear what happened).
In closing, yes the house is great in many aspects, but it is very sad that it is run by such horrible people. I am not a thief and I do not appreciate being repeatedly accused of stealing, and I also don’t appreciate being profiled or stereotyped because of my looks.

I should probably be rating this cute B&B after breakfast, but I’m so totally impressed already. The hosts are so friendly, their little dog is precious & I’m considering begging the decorator to come overhaul my house! The style is modern, eclectic & impeccably done. I’m guessing breakfast will be delicious too since we tried their yummy homemade cookies.

I travel quite a bit for work (average 3 – 4 months out of the year) and am used to hotels, motels, etc. When I planned a short vacation to Rehoboth Beach at a B&B, I wasn’t sure what to expect or how it all worked at a B&B since I have only stayed in one my entire life and it was so many years ago, it was hard to remember what it was like.
I walked in and the décor took my breath away. I literally stood there staring and thinking that I just walked into the cover of an actual magazine. There was a delicious candle burning, a fire going (which was perfect on a cold, March day) and it felt like I was walking into a friend’s home it was so inviting.
The room was perfect– it was brightly painted, with some of the most gorgeous decorative touches. There was a great use of space that allowed for plenty of room to move around. We had our own bathroom, the flat screen tvs on the wall were a great touch! There was a fridge in the room, which was wonderful since I always have leftovers or extra water that I like to keep cold.
The place was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and I am so used to cleaning everything with wipes wherever I go, it actually didn’t occur to me-​which never happens. The bedding was fresh, the mattress was soft without being too soft and the natural light was refreshing in the big windows.
The location is a block from the beach and in the heart of all of the major restaurants and shopping areas. There were some great parks, a tasty winery and outlet shopping a short drive away, but for the most part, we walked everywhere making the place seem so convenient and stress-​free.
The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had –and I have had plenty of traveling breakfasts. It was truly homemade with care and touch of class I rarely see these days. There was a huge selection of food from bagels and croissants to fruit or oatmeal, yogurts, cereal and the hot breakfast items along with coffee brewed to perfection and a wide variety of juices and teas. The hot breakfast items were better than most items I’ve chosen off menus in some of the most expensive hotels — fresh ingredients make all the difference!
The customer service, though, is what made this entire trip seem like we were staying with friends. Tom and Steve, the innkeepers, were beyond gracious, friendly and welcoming. They also knew the places to see, restaurants to try (and those that shouldn’t be tried), bars to visit and the best time of day for anything and everything in the area. It was better than any concierge service I’ve experienced to date and that’s not an exaggeration.
We are already planning our next few stays this year and into next year with other friends and recommending this B&B to anyone and everyone! You will not be disappointed! I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to stay — and we had even extended our stay by a night because we didn’t want to leave!

We live in Baltimore which had gotten a massive snowstorm and were super excited to get out of town the next weekend for the beach. We had found the Guest House through an amazing Groupon but after staying there my husband and I are already planning on going back and are convinced this is Rehoboths best kept secret.
The house has undergone extensive renovations so ignore the pesky old Tripadvisor reviews and is crazy, stupid beautiful. It looks like a high end HGTV design show took over. No detail overlooked and everything was gorgeous (I dare you to see their kitchen and not instantly covet it, no seriously go ahead). We were greeted by the Innkeepers partner Tom and one of the owners Garrett who gave us a tour and made us feel like we were long lost friends who had just arrived from afar. Our room was the best room seriously room 35 on the 3^rd floor is modern nautical chic and we even had a little sliver of ocean view. A giant kind sized bed, lovely linens, it was fab.
We had brought some wine and got a chance to chat with the Innkeeper Steve as well as Tom and Garrett who were so helpful with giving us ideas about what to do and where to go in the area. Other guests came in and everyone was sharing wine, and cheese and cookies and becoming fast friends which is the best part to me about the traveling experience.
Due to the fact that I had too much wine the night before I overslept but my husband said the breakfast was amazing and that I missed out (I will just have to go back to see for myself). They are still making awesome new additions and planning more great things and I cannot wait to return to the Rehoboth Beach Guest House. I can not recommend highly enough. Love this house and these guys thank you for such a wonderful weekend!

Hands down the BEST Bed & Breakfast place of all time! Super friendly owners, food was awesome, whole house is super clean and like new! Would certainly return over and over again! It’s a must to visit and stay when in Rehoboth Beach!!!

A little R&R at a cute B&B.
Wanting to get away for MLK weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to use deal sites to determine our destination. Not only was Rehoboth Beach the best choice of location, Rehoboth Guest House provided the best possible lodging.
The house was recently redone, with brand new fixtures in all the rooms and a beautiful exterior job. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the innkeepers Steve and Tom, and stumbled on the weekly Saturday night wine social hosted by owner Frank and Garrett. Not only was the wine flowing, but we had a great time meeting the other guests that weekend.
Although we were a little late in booking and didn’t get a room with a private bathroom, we never had issues with overlapping with the other rooms and our space was more than generous for the two of us. In terms of accessibility, there is a «secret passage» in the backyard that gives easy access to the neighboring shops and restaurants.
Breakfast deserves its own paragraph. You have your essentials, eggs, sausage, home fries, etc, but Tom is a master baker and adds everything you didn’t even know you wanted. Spoiled with homemade cinnamon rolls, muffins, and bundt cakes, we started off the mornings on more than the right foot.
One thing I appreciate more about a B&B versus a hotel is that it feels more like a community instead of a place where people sleep. Props to everyone at Rehoboth Guest House for making our vacation that much more enjoyable!
