Everyone was friendly but I was disappointed with the food we ordered to go. The Menudo had no flavor in it and the tacos we ordered fell apart when we tried to eat them the tortilla got soggy. I will not be ordering food here again. I even tried ordering other stuff on their menu and they didn’t have it.

I was very frustrated that they were not willing to accept the certificate that I purchased for the restaurant. If they are going to participate with , they need to accept the certificates. I was embarrassed as there was a long line behind me and the person said they couldn’t take the certificate because their manager was not there. I ordered and paid full price. Unfortunately the food was not that good either so it turned into a double negative. We had Carna Asada Super Burrito, Chicken Enchiladas and quesadillas. There was a bit of a language barrier, which I wouldn’t call a negative(except ordering can be more challenging) but others should be aware in case your spanish is not that strong.

Tried to order flautas ala carte. Charged me same price. Not very friendly. Older woman Must be the boss. First time the flautas were Great, but these were bone Dry no sauce. Guacamole was Very bad, had to take it back. Very inconsistent. No offer of warm chips… I’m wanting to like this place as It’s close to home.

This is a vote for the tacos made outside after 4 pm. I’ve never ordered any food from their full menu indoors nor have I tried their pan mexicano. Love the sight, smell and taste of that al pastor meat. I also ordered one lengua and one cabeza taco. Love having those options, don’t get to eat those meats too often. We were five adults and two kids so we got our tacos and sat at the tables inside. Bummer they only had one table outside. Enjoyed a $ 1 paleta de coco for dessert. My four-year old cousin reported that the bubble gum paleta was exquisite.

Absolutely delicious! I had the super tacos asados and an horchata to drink. Yum! I’ll be back tomorrow to try some more things from the menu.

This place is full of surprises, luckily they’re all good ones. I felt like these were the best burritos I’ve had in quite some time. They were very authentic, oh and the chips are free. The burritos are soo good creamy and delicious. They take food stamps also. This place is soo fresh, you can see all the meat hanging. They have a great drink selection also and the food is soo good that you can see even the employees loving it . I saw them really piling on there own plates and loving it, obviously they have quite an appetite too. This place is soo good it’ll make kids that don’t even usually eat there food eat it and love it.

This would totally be 5 stars if I had only ordered 2 tacos. But I ordered 3. The carne asada and carnitas were amazing. I will probably name one of my children after them. Simple, well marinated and juicy meat on homemade tortillas with some onion, cilantro, and salsa with a little kick. Of course i went nuts with the lemon on the side, which only made those little gems twinkle my tastebuds brighter. The birria wasn’t bad. I was so excited for it! Birria, it’s been a while! But it was a bit tough and stringy(as birria is wont to be, dang active goats). I’m really excited to come back for the uchepos and of course a 3 taco combo(great deal, especially since you can get aguas frescas with it!). Maybe, I’ll go for the pollo as a third next time.

Great little hole in the wall Mexican taco place. Not only are their salsas superb authentically delish, nothing like the typical watered down, no flavor salsas most of the taco places have around town. Food is good many options and I simply love the hand made tortillas, service is better than expected.

We tried some garlic shrimp a la diabla shrimp and some chepos. All the food was horrible. The garlic shrimp plate is probably the worst seafood plate ice ever tasted. Yuck. Never going here for food. Stick to chepes tacos al vapor outside.

Check’m out some time. I had 2 barbacoa &2 carnitas tacos. The flavors were tasty, however the temperature was more on the warm side. But then again, I showed up at opening time so perhaps the food had yet to reach higher temps. The woman who prepared my plate was very nice. Although there is that smell of a butcher shop to’t. So if you’re a tenderfoot you might be grossed out.

I have the best tacos of my life here. The salsas, guac and other ingredients are INCREDIBLY fresh — you literally see the cook go out to the produce aisle and get things as he needs them. Tortillas they just made. Where else do you get that?! It’s inexpensive and incredible. The meats are authentic — which means unless you like fatty meats, stick with asada or pollo or carnitas, not the more adventurous ones. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. It’s like going to mexico for real and eating at a local corner store/taqueria.

This place smells horrible, it’s okay if you want to get a quick snack like chips, soda etc. but I would not trust the actual food from here. It’s really dirty and I doubt it’s fresh. I ordered a tripa burrito from here and the tripas were not thoroughly cooked and were coated with fat. I could barely finish my burrito. Also, a lot of the ingredients stay out all day.

Really good authentic. Helps to speak Spanish! The outdoor patio in back is actually nice, hidden and quiet. They have pickled radishes and stuff you can top off your food with. Nice point-point style kitchen, and they seem to make everything there — you can see the tortilla go through the rollers and stuff. Try the specials. They also are a grocery store.

The carne asada super burrito here was really disappointing. The meat was dry and bland. They get a few stars because they make an enchilada dish I really like. It’s served with two pieces of crispy fried chicken on the side.

I work at a business park right across the street from this neighborhood taqueria. I’ve always walked by it on the way to the train station but have never stopped. Being one who likes to try the restaurants that feed the local population, I thought I’d check it out today. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised… and it’s very authentic with all menus and signs in Spanish. One side of the restaurant is a carneceria and pescaderia… with the other being the taqueria. The traditional foods are served from mole to menudo to carnitas… even lengua. The food is overall pretty good… and cheap. I got a HUGE regular chicken burrito for $ 5.00…including tax. CHEAP. You may want to practicar su espanol before you go. I had to order in the native language… going back to the archives of three years of high school Spanish. The owner is very friendly along with the employees. They helped me along with my broken Spanish and I got what I wanted. I hope what I ordered really was a chicken burrito. If not, the cocinero had a good laugh. I’ll make another trip there next week.

Brand new Mexican Taqueria, mini grocery and meat market in the outskirts of Redwood City. The meat and seafood selection is pretty solid and they have a small amount of convenice style groceries and spices. The taqueria boasts about 10 different meat selections which I’ll have to return and try. Got a pound of chicharron for dinner over the next couple of days,. It’s chopped up into nearly bite sized pieces. Perfectly cooked, salty and crispy. So bad for you but so good at the same time!
