Dr. Neustaedter is an amazing doctor. His prescriptions have always been right on, and have completely changed my life. I’m so glad that we have such a capable homeopath, with many years experience, right here on the Peninsula and that I don’t have to drive into San Francisco to see one.

Dr Randall Neustaeder was a miracle worker. I had been suffering from years of nausea and upset stomach, poor digestion.
Dr Randall got to the root of my stomach pain and chronic nausea in 1 visit ! Until then My primary care doc told me, food or diet was not the cause of my Crohn’s or IBS… and several emergency room doc’s went as far to suggest anti depressants or long term narcotic pain medicine to manage the cramps.
Dr Neustaeder asked me right off about food, diet, dairy gluten. I told him I had all the tests and I am not allergic. Then he said, but have you tried avoiding them for a week to see… He took a long time to learn my health history and truly got to the root of my problems without giving me a bunch of prescriptions either !
Essentially I followed his special diet, that would help improve my digestion, gut function and lesson my cramps… I noticed a HUGE difference in just a few days. Now several months later I feel like a new person. I can’t thank you enough doc !
He did give me a natural probiotic, but I think the diet and his guidance helped the very most.
Overall he is a pretty cool guy, who takes his time to listen to you. I never felt rushed or hurried. The doc is very knowledgeable about natural medicine. His staff is also very friendly. It was well worth the drive from Los Angeles to Redwood City.

Dr. Neustaedter is an amazing and wonderful doctor. Not only did he help my children numerous times but he was the only doctor who was able to help my friends children with seizures, kidney disease and asthma. He is extremely knowledgeable and really cares about our children.
Regarding the comments about his high fees, most alternative doctors fees range around the same amount. I have emailed Dr. Neustaetder so many times in the past six years when one of my kids was sick late in the evening or on the weekends and he replied quickly with an advise and remedy every single time … for no charge.
We are very thankful to have him as our doctor who cares about our children not only during official office hours.

Wonderful doctor. He helped my child so much when he had neurological reaction after vaccination. His advices have always been so perfect. He is the one who helped us to stay away from prescribed antibiotics so many times (in absolutely not necessary cases, and it always turned out that he was right), and now my children are healthy with strong immune system, thanks to doctor Neustaedter.

Had severe allergic reaction to prescribed remedy, which required me to have expensive (hundreds of dollars) tests performed at PAMF to determine the problem as he didn’t return my calls.

This might have been the most unprofessional and least compassionate doctor I have ever seen in my entire life.
I knew something was wrong when I entered his small dirty office and saw bottles of supplements scattered all over the floor in all directions.
At the time I had some serious food allergies and chemical sensitivities and after explaining my whole story over the course of an hour this guy was completely clueless and had no idea where to start.
He recommended I take an alcohol-​based homeopathic remedy even though I warned him that I am extremely sensitive to alcohol and he assured me that I would have no reaction. I suffered greatly for the rest of that day because of this.
I was in such a bad place healthwise at that time that I decided to give him another chance and I came back for his acupuncture treatment…
I’m not kidding when I tell you that I think he had printed out an acupuncture guide from the Internet. he literally had no idea what he was doing. Was pushing the needles in such a way that it was incredibly painful and kept walking back to his guidebook to make sure he was following you correctly. I’ve done acupuncture with experts before and know exactly how it should go.
Spent close to $ 500 on his «services» over the course of two days and this guy didn’t even have the courtesy to follow up or return my calls/​emails… his only reply was «we will discuss this at your next session». He’s truly in this for the money and knows his way around working the insurance system.
Save your money and find some some of the other great natural doctors we have in this area. I hope it doesn’t sound mean but this guy is truly an uncompassionate turd bucket :)

Dr Neustaedter, is a knowledgeable caring person. We took our one year old to see him and he was very gentle with her. He is very intuitive and was able to assess her situation quickly and prescribed her with treatments that healed her.
We heard about him through the Berkeley Parent’s Network and made a drive from Lafayette to Redwood City to see him, we’re glad we did. Dr. Neustaedter is an amazing healer. We go to him first with whatever our kids have and he has done some amazing things to help them. We (the parents) actually go to him as well on occasion as he does see adults as well. He is always able to pull an answer out the vast database of knowledge he has accumulated during his career to whatever health problems we have presented to him. He is also a safe choice as the first doctor to go to because if he thinks conventional medication is needed, he will tell you. He is not opposed to it when it’s needed. With Dr. Neustaedter we have found natural healing from behavioral issues to common colds and everywhere in between.
A few words about his style. He does not chit-​chat a lot when he is seeing patients. For those who need to receive that kind of assurance, let me just first of all tell you that he absolutely knows what his doing even if he is not explaining himself all along the way. Also, if you want to know more about what he recommends and why you just need to ask lots of questions and then he’ll tell you. Just get used to it. It’s worth it.

I believe it’s priceless to have a family doctor you can absolutely trust. Dr. Randall Neustaedter is this kind of doctor for me. He is the great alternative to the regular doctors who I am currently very frustrated with. I do my best to keep my baby from prescription drugs and other toxic stuff. I want him to grow up without food allergies, asthma, ADDs etc. And at Neustaedter’s office I found full support and understanding. His books are a great source of information on how to raise healthy kids too. Very logical, easy to read and cover pretty much all the major issues in a child’s health.

Dr Randy has treated me and several members of my family for the past 16 years. I first went to him in 1995 with my two year-​old son who had ear infections and was not responding to antibiotics. Randy explained to me that most kids can fight off ear infections if their immune systems are strong enough. He treated my son with a constitutional homeopathic remedy to strengthen his immune system and from that day on my son never had another ear infection.
Randy has treated me for depression. He has done acupuncture on me for several ailments. Not for all conditions. We went to this practice for our child who had narcolepsy/​cataplexy. Dr. Neustaedtr totally gave an alternative dianosis with full cure in three-​four months. After multiple visits and spending big $ with no results it was clear that Dr. Neustaedter was taking shots in the dark. I wish he was more honest with us on the first visit and had told us that this was not his forte. Our child is now back to western medicines with good results. We feel like what were trying to tell Dr. Neustaedter was ignored till many visits. He probably is an expert but not when it comes to Narcolepsy/​cataplexy.
