Michelle Pierre

I have been going to Michelle for many years. She was originally recommended by a co-​worker. Now many of my friends get their hair done with her. Michelle is a great stylist. I have had different cuts and colors done over the years. She keeps a log of what worked for my pseudo-​wavy hair. I am a mom of two boys and she helps me have easy to manage cuts that I can wear up or down.
Michelle is also a really friendly, positive and professional person. She is always on schedule. She is easy to talk and I enjoy my appointments. I like that my hair shimmers when I leave!

Michelle is terrific with hair. I found her by admiring her work on a friend, and I’ve been going for years. My hair looks fuller and more stylish thanks to her artistry. She makes me look great! She’s now at Mrahz in downtown Redwood City.

I have difficult hair. It is curly in some areas, straight in others and can be very frizzy in humid conditions. Michelle Pierre was recommended to me by a friend from work. Michelle is a genius at cutting hair. She listens to what you would like to have done to your hair and then tells you (in a tactful way) if the style it would work for you and if your hair can handle the style. Her latest new amazing process is a keratin procedure that has virtually eliminated my frizz. She is a fabulous stylist. I have been stopped by strangers and questioned about my hair style. She can always think to something that will jazz up my hair, without being over the top.

Many years ago I asked a book keeper for a well known and upscale hair salon in Palo Alto who she thought was the best cutter in her salon. It was thus that I found Michelle Pierre. She has been cutting, coloring, highlighting or perming my hair (long, short, in-​between, curly or straight) since then — keeping my hair current and looking good. I am not good with hair and require a low maintenance style. I can honestly say she have never given me a bad cut. I regularly get asked by strangers who cuts my hair. She is now working in the Mahrz Salon in Redwood City. I now live in Santa Cruz but every six weeks I make the trek over Highway 17 to get my locks attended to. What more can I say… Looking for a good hairstylist? You couldn’t do better.
