First Resort

My best friend needed an abortion and wanted me to research the best place for her to go. I’d be driving her to and from wherever we chose and staying with her until she felt well enough to go back to work.
First Resort is one of the places I called because their name came up at the top in the «paid advertising» in my Google search. After I called the location in Oakland and was not satisfied with evasive answers to my questions, I thought I’d try the location in Redwood City because it would be about the same distance to drive. I told myself that lots of businesses have some locations that are better than others.
Just like the Oakland location, however, the person who answered the phone in Redwood City seemed to want to say whatever would get us to come in to their office.
Further research about First Resort revealed why she wouldn’t answer direct questions about what type of abortion they offered, etc. The simple truth, that she wouldn’t tell me, is that they don’t do abortions, they don’t even refer to clinics that do. In fact, it’s just the opposite.
Of all the things I discovered in my more detailed research about First Resort, this tells it best: First Resort’s statement of purpose, filed in the company’s state licensing documents, is to «build an abortion-​free world.» They’re a Christian organization and when you ask directly about that, they admit it.
If you read their website and advertising, you would think they’re similar to Planned Parenthood. Wrong! They’re very much on the opposite side of the fence but their website and advertising are obviously designed to try to hide that fact. Their goal is to keep women pregnant (the old phrase «barefoot and pregnant» comes to mind).
When you have to work so hard at hiding your real purpose, there’s something wrong with your purpose!

First resort is by far the best clinic I’ve ever been and the best support system.
I went here for a pregnancy check up. But they have not only provided that they provided my family a really unforgettable experience. They gave me more than what I expect lots of care, love and joy.
I will never forget the people that helped me and my family .

To the people who has something bad to say about first resort. Its definitely they are lying. They are so helpful in all way possible.
My baby now is 4months and if without first resort we won’t be able to provide as much as what first resort provided for my family. I’m a proof of. How good they were to me and all the rest of the patients and friends.
