C.T. Hardwood Floors

CT Hardwood did an excellent job on our floors. Their scope of work included adding red oak to match areas with wood already installed and refinishing and staining all the hardwood areas in the house. Of the four bids we received they were the fastest to respond and most thorough in their estimate, allowing us to rejigger as needed to fit the project within our budget.
This is a family run business and the owner and his son tag team well to ensure we have a great finished product and there was always someone available to answer my questions. The floors look great, the house was returned to me in good condition and my base boards were spared in the staining which was a big plus. We did have a tiny slip up at the end of the project, I think we both could have done a better job ensuring we checked in during the last staining days, so maybe get your whole schedule written up and agreed to at the start. But again, the work was excellent, so slip or no slip, it worked out exactly as planned from the start.
BTW they also worked well with our stair guy and ensured the whole project looked great.
We will be using CT Hardwood again and recommend them to friends.
UPDATE– It’s been 4 months and several parties later — the floors look great and guests have frequently commented on the look and quality of the floors. I am looking forward to have more rooms installed!

Chris not only delivers great quality, but he is also very reliable and flexible. We hired Chris after we received a number of quotes for installing new floor in two rooms and refinishing the floor in the other rooms and hallways of our house. His quote was very reasonable and unlike some of the other contractors he was flexible to take on the project with us providing the material for the new floor. He was also flexible in working us on the timing of the project: he had to come back three times to finish various parts of the house and he always started and finished on time. During the project he hit a few smaller obstacles that had to be taken care of and increased the scope of the project: he did not stop to negotiate some extra budget, instead he proposed me at the end to pay as much extra for the additional work as I see reasonable. We were able to find a number that worked for both of us. But most importantly, the quality of the work he delivered is exceptional: the new hardwood looks pristine and the refinished hardwood looks as it would be new. Chris’ professionalism was refreshing to deal with. I would highly recommend C.T. Hardwood Floors to anyone who needs a reliable and experienced hardwood contractor.
