Came for brunch here a few months ago. Parking was a bit tight so we parked a block up. The waiter also seemed to think my friend and I had fake IDs when we ordered mimosas, made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Other than that food was good and we enjoyed our lattes.

Was visiting a friend in the area and wanted some good breakfast spots. We decided to give this place a try due to the good reviews. Parking/Wait time: Thank goodness we came here on a weekday and an awkward hour. Because I would not want to know how crazy it gets(per other Unilocaler’s) during prime time and/or on a weekend. This little shack literally has 3 parking spots. 3! You can park in the streets but even that was full. So expect to walk far far away. There is literally 5 tables of max 15 capacity inside the restaurant. There are outside seating’s as well but not much more. So if you want to give this place a try, better go on a weekday and odd hours.(minus 1 star) Ambiance: Cute little place to go to only if there is barely anyone there. Seats are too close together and I can hear every conversation at the table next to us. Don’t feel like there is much privacy or a good place to chit chat without feeling everyone knowing your business. Nice place to go solo and enjoy a bite and go.(minus ½ star) Service: There were only 2 other parties there and with the place being so small, its hard to miss a customer who needs something. So we go service pretty quickly. One thing I didn’t like was our server ask if I needed change back. Suggestion to the server: Please look at the total and what the customer put down before asking if they need change back. I know if may sound like a courtesy but it can also make the customer feel uncomfortable and obligated if you ask me that when my bill was about $ 25 and I had put down $ 40. Unless you think customers are supposed to give almost a 50% tip… please think about it before you ask people that.(minus ½ star) Food: Food was delicious but not the best I have had. My Eggs Florentine was poached perfectly where it wasn’t too runny yet wasn’t solid like a boiled egg either like some places I have been to and their potatoes were flavorful which I really love. The Hollandaise sauce was good too, although i prefer a little bit more. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich which was very generic. Nothing special but not bad either. Generally, I would still come back to try other items whenever I go visit my friend, only if its not crowded. Its good but not worth waiting hours in line for though. I’m sure there are plenty of other great place around worth trying.

Best place for brunch. Great food and great prices. Organic healthy choices. Patio seating or indoor seating. There is always a wait, but anything good has a wait :). Love the whole wheat pancakes. Only tip is, can we get Nutella in this place please :)

Way back when I came here with my parents and it was an Indoneisan restaurant. I remember it being a very nice and cozy restaurant. The Indonesian restaurant is long gone but the nice and cozy restaurant remains but now in the form of beachside eatery, Wildflower Café. I came here recently for brunch with my friend and fellow Unilocaler Mary Ann V. We chose to eat out in their patio. It was a perfect setting for a sunny morning. One of the first things I spotted right away, is their extensive coffee and tea menu. I am one who has a forever coffee crush, so I was super excited to see the different flavored lattes being offered here. I chose to get the green tea latte. Though it was a little pricey at $ 4.50, the price was justified when the green tea latte came out. It was one huge cup! Freshly made and piping hot, it has the right hint of green tea and mix of milk. My green tea latte went well with my order of Eggs Benedict. I won’t deny that all the Unilocal reviews and photos on Instagram of this dish is what sold me on getting this dish. I am happy to say that all the hype is correct because the Eggs Benedict here is delicious. I loved all the hollandaise sauce that was smothered on the Canadian bacon and English muffin. It comes yummy potatoes and sweet fresh fruit. I was very happy with my meal here and left happy and content! Brunch here with my good friend was the perfect start for a happy weekend.

This is probably my favorite breakfast place in RB. Not too greasy mixes of traditional pancakes and omelettes with a variety of benedicts to choose from. The staff is so friendly and excellent you can barely finish a drink without a quiet refill. They’re attentive without being annoying and you feel at home here. The wildflower stack is amazing. Tons of berries cooked right into three pancakes. The breakfast burrito is filling and only 7 bucks! If you’re REALLY hungry get an omelette. Seriously so much food. I come here every weekend for good reason! Outside seating is nice on a normal day. It can get busy but while waiting they have delicious fruit water so you don’t overheat!

This is my go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. They make fantastic pancakes and waffles, and also have awesome soups, sandwiches and salads. I personally LOVE their creamy tomato soup with a grilled cheese or their Cobb salad. The best thing about this place is the staff– they welcome you, if you go there more than once they do their best to remember your favorite drink or food item, and they are a small shop so you always see the same friendly faces when you eat there.

This is a really cute corner café type in Redondo Beach where you’ll find a small but pleasant staff and an even smaller parking which fits a whopping two cars. But don’t worry, there’s street parking all around. So when you walk in, walk to the front or you won’t be attended to. The staff are very cheerful so it’s a very amiable environment here. They have a fairly large menu so I was stumped but I ended up ordering the lox scramble and it was glorious. Who would have thought that scrambled eggs, salmon, cream cheese, and tomato would be such a wonderful combination(wait I’m dumb, isn’t that what lox sandwiches are without eggs?). Oh my order also came with some toast and potatoes and fruit so that’s a nice addition as well. Do note that Wildflower Café is cash only so come prepared. I wouldn’t want to see you washing dishes here next time I come by.

We visited the café for brunch. The wholewheat pancake was worth the value and fluffy however the strawberries under each layer were squished and molten because of the hot pancake. So i would recommend to ask for the strawberries on the side. The spinach omllette was flavoursome. We ordered latte and cappucino but they were not anything similar to proper italian style coffee with the right microfoam and temperature. I recommend this café for breakfast/brunch

So glad I found this little gem! I’ve been looking for a nice café that serves a good selection of food and delicious drinks that isn’t in DTLA. Parking may be a pain in the butt, but we found parking on the side of the street. This place was smaller than I had imagined, but there is actually a bunch of seating outside. Luckily, it was a beautiful day. It was sunny and cool enough to comfortably sit outside to enjoy the weather. Our waitress was very nice and offered to turn on the heater for me if I was cold :) My friend and I ended up getting the same things: eggs Benedict and lattes! Breakdown: 1. Lattes — I got a hot vanilla latte and she got a caffe latte. Delicious! Unfortunately, we did not get the nice latte art as seen in many of the pictures :(but it’s okay. I thought mine was still pretty good. 2. Eggs Benedict — It was quite filling! The poached eggs were not too runny! The potatoes were okay. They could’ve had more seasoning, but I’m not going to deny potatoes LOL. The fruit was a very nice touch. I never order fruit at restaurants so I’m glad that it comes with their breakfast platters! It’s a very refreshing touch to end a heavy meal. Overall, I am a fan! It’s a super cute place and the people are nice. Definitely the place for you if you enjoy good food(especially brunch) and food photo opportunities(talk about aesthetics), ya know what I meaan?

My friend and I came here on a Sunday and were relieved that we didn’t have to wait too long to get a table. We sat outside in the large courtyard, and thanks to the heaters and the sun were super comfortable. The service was good, as was the food. If I had to describe my overall experience, I would say«solid but not particularly memorable.» My friend and I shared the breakfast burrito with turkey bacon and the strawberry-chocolate chip pancakes. Flavors were all really good and the pancakes were super fluffy and delicious. The burrito could have used a bit more flavor, and the side of potatoes(+ salt) were perfectly textured and spiced. Solid brunch spot in Redondo!

Cute but tiny, like the staff members barely had room to walk around and there are two parking spots, but it’s definitely quaint. I’d take friends here for brunch. Tough to choose from the menu, but eggs benedict is my go-to. I would have liked it more if it was with something other than ham, though. Potatoes are perfect. Super quick with the coffee refills! Generous folks they are.

This place is small, but has a pleasant staff with a lovely patio area that is plenty shaded with umbrellas. We were eating a light lunch of salads. I had the crispy chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. The dressing was delicious and the chicken was breaded in panko — my favorite breaking. Overall, a nice breakfast/lunch location. There is no parking lot, just parking along the residential side street. Thankfully, the place is small enough that I doubt they bother their residential neighbor’s too much.

Cute little restaurant! The Wildflower pancakes were so good– definitely recommend. There were toppings on top AND inside, in between each layer… Absolute perfection. I also got scrambled eggs, but they weren’t all that great. The atmosphere is very relaxing. A nice place to come for brunch. I suggest outdoor seating because you get a good view and nice breeze. It’s a bit stuffy and tight inside. I called at 12:30 on Sunday to check for the wait time for brunch and it was half an hour long at that time. But I came in at 1 and there was zero wait, which was great.

I passed this place often but it wasn’t until my client recommended going that I actually made the effort to stop in. So glad I did. The place was quaint and the service was great! We ordered pancakes(buttermilk and chocolate chip) and both were very tasty. The pancakes are large and thick so I recommend getting 2 instead of 3. I’ll definitely be going back to try a couple other things. I’ll keep you all posted as I try more items…

I tried this place coming back from LAX at 8 a.m. I just helped and chose a random diner, and I stumbled upon this one. It was a very homey place and me and some friends were the first ones in the place. I ordered the eggs Benedict and they were delicious. The potatoes that came along with them were just how I like it too. The delicious poached was just right. One of my friends got pancakes and I really liked the way they arranged the powdered sugar and fruits, looked quite good. The other dishes my friends got were all pretty good too. Overall, I only tried their breakfast but it left a good impression on me and I wouldn’t mind trying some of the other things they have to offer.

I’m kind of surprised by the great reviews for Wildflower. I had breakfast there on my first day of vacation, and I did not feel any need to go back. Service was good, but the food was a huge disappointment. I got their signature omelette, which had way too much bland cheese on it and a curdled look to it. The veggies were also in unpleasantly large chunks. I was starving but only ate half of my omelette, because it wasn’t very good. The potatoes were bland, but I liked them better than the omelette and did finish them all. The fruit cup was the high point of the meal, and everything in that was really fresh, which is unusual for a diner. The coffee was your typical diner coffee, drinkable, but not enjoyable.

I was visiting a friend and looking for a nice brunch place that had vegan options. While this might have been a Unilocal error, when I searched«vegan brunch» nearby, this location was the number one location that came up and because it had positive reviews and 4 stars, I decided on this restaurant to go to. I was extremely disappointed to learn that there were only about 5 items I could order and none of these were foods I particularly were excited about. They were foods that just happened to be vegan friendly. Service: somewhat confusing when you walk in as it wasn’t clear whether to seat ourselves or if someone was going to seat us. When we were seated we were asked what we wanted to drink and just asked for some water. We didn’t actually get our waters until AFTER two other groups got their drinks. And they didn’t take our order until the other two groups that sat down maybe 5 minutes after us got theirs taken. So overall somewhat dissatisfied with the time it took to get services. Ambiance: it was a cute little café/restaurant place with outdoor and indoor seating. Somewhat crammed inside and not much of a view from outside. I didn’t really like how the tables had the poles for the sun umbrellas right in the middle of the table where it made it annoying to enjoy conversation with my friend sitting across from me. Food: as a vegan, the choices were extremely limited so definitely would not recommend. My friend’s egg Benedict was also not the best. The yolk was cooked through and did not look like it was poached properly. I ordered the vegetable penne pasta as that was something that I could eat that wasn’t just oatmeal(assuming they didn’t use dairy milk). The pasta was average. Nothing special and would not order it again.

I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. From the friendly service to the ocean breeze and especially the eggs Benedict, I would want to eat breakies here everyday. The last place I had eggs Benedict had overcooked the eggs, so when yolk spilled all over the ham and English muffin I squealed with excitement hehe. The place was packed on a Monday mid-morning so I thought maybe this place is so awesome people skip work to come eat here.
