SoCal Skin Works

I came across SoCal Skin Works through groupon and read pretty good reviews, honestly, I was sold with the words cocktail serum, anything that will nourish and make my skin pretty is a definite go. Vala was great and made the whole process pain free. I have had facials done in the past and I really never looked forward to having extractions done, but this was totally painless. I was very relaxed and almost fell asleep. I will definitely be returning to this place.

Lovely lady Vala and her great knowledge of her product line makes the facial experience very cool! She uses high end products that feel really nice too!

Vala is amazing. I used to get facials regularly when I lived in Orange County and it was hard to find someone here in the South Bay. I received a Groupon as a gift and was so pleased with her services. I like how she explains everything and doesn’t push products as much as other salons. I’ll definitely be scheduling my next appointment.

So nice! I went for a 90 minute «cocktail facial» today with Vala. I really enjoyed the experience. I especially appreciated that she explained to me beforehand what she would be doing and then again as she was doing it. She has a nice way about her and I felt very comfortable. She takes time with little details, like during a nice arm massage while I had a mask on she also took the time to massage my fingers individually. That might seem odd to mention, but even during a full body massage that doesn’t often happen and I liked it. During a second mask, towards the end she did a very nice, soothing head massage too. So calming. She was very thorough and I felt she took her time to do what was needed just for me. My face looks and feels great, and I can’t wait to see her again! I really recommend Vala.

Vala was fabulous!!! I would highly recommend! My face is glowing and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed! Truly no pressure and an expert at what she does! Prices were very reasonable.

Vala is amazing. She is personable, knows her trade and made my experience wonderful. She did NOT try to sell me anything at all. I had a facial with her and will be back for a massage. Love her.
Parking is free in her building parking lot. Kinda tricky to find but just park on the side of the building perpendicular to the garage spaces. Building is right next door to a burger place. Go up the 3 flights of stairs and her salon is the first door you see when you come up the stairs.

I go to various estheticians and medical spas for facial, and must say that this is one of my favorite places! Vala is professional, knowledgeable, gentle and kind. What I like about her facial is that she uses ultrasonic device to deliver the serum cocktail deep into the skin. I also like the fact that she uses Le Mieux, 302 products, etc. Her facial is also recommended for those who have sensitive skin.
I’m not sure if there is a parking for this business, but street parking was available. I’ll definitely come back on a regular basis in conjunction with facial at other places just because I like to experience different techniques.

Vala was wonderful. I bought a groupon as a random treat for myself. She was very kind, gentle, and professional. The building doesn’t look like much from the outside, but you will definitely leave happy. I highly recommend her and all her services. Thank you Vala!

Vala is amazing! I came across a Groupon as I needed a facial, but Vala offers first-​time customers the same 60-​minute facial deal. It was really easy to make an appointment, and she called to confirm the day before. When I got there, she went over the equipment and what she plans to do during the facial so I’m well prepared. The whole experience was very relaxing, and my face looked great afterwards! I’ll definitely recommend Vala to my friends and I can’t wait to come back.

Vala is awesome! I’ve never had a facial before, and this was a birthday gift to myself. I found SoCal Skin Works through Groupon, but since local businesses occasionally have issues with Groupon, I gave her a call ahead of purchasing the deal. She said she would honor the discount at the Groupon price through her and that I wouldn’t need to take care of any of it.
And she did! I opted for the 60-​minute session that included a facial and upper body massage. The ‘cocktail’ she made for my face felt great, and she gave me a few tips on how to take better care of my skin and what products I should try and which I should avoid. She let me know about her line of 3O2 products, but she WASN’T PUSHY AT ALL! Which I was extremely grateful for. I left feeling relaxed and happy that I purchased the deal.
For those of you who have never been, I suggest you try it out! Her suite is on the second floor of the building, and I would recommend arriving a little early as she has some paperwork for you to fill out (plus you’ll want to give yourself time for parking). I parked in the adjacent lot (it is a hamburger place next door) but I am not sure if they have a lot of space under the building itself on a given day… :)
