I’ve been in here many times over the years & have never received anything remotely like good customer service, but since I live across the street I’ve continued to patronize this place. After my visit the other day, I won’t be back. I purchased & paid for beauty tool with cash. My change was 3 cents. The cashier opened the register & saw that there were no coins in the drawer. She called to the owner & said she needed her(the owner) to put change in the drawer. The owner asked how much change she needed & the cashier said«three cents.» The owner laughed & repeated, three cents???” She went to the back & returned with her purse & while she was digging through her wallet, she laughed & exclaimed«three cents!??» at least two more times, incredulously. Obviously 3 cents isn’t much, but a customer shouldn’t be made to feel like s/he is imposing on the owner by expecting his/her change. At a certain point, I wanted to leave & forget about the 3 cents, but I felt like I should wait for it on principle. In the future, I’ll gladly go out of my way to go to a beauty supply store that values its customers & doesn’t try to shame them for wanting their change.

They have everything you need some people claim the prices are high I don’t know maybe they’re cheap, but I feel comfortable making purchases, and they’re return policy is fair. Another thing if you know you can’t get a refund why are you buying things if you know you might want to return it? or of you shop online? I’m just saying It’s common sense USEIT!

They don’t give any refunds. Just store credit. Even if the product is not opened. To me that’s terrible customer service. If the product is sealed why can I not have a refund?

I bought a nail polish for $ 10 as a gift for my wife but she didn’t love the color tone so I asked if I could exchange it for a different one and was just told«final sale». I asked once again can’t I just exchange it for the right color and was again told«final sale», no explanation, no I’m sorry, no making exceptions, just«final sale» three times. I wasn’t asking for a refund just to exchange the nail polish for a different color so my wife would be happy with it. As a business owner in the beauty industry I understand the need to be flexible with your customers and provide more of a personalized service so they are happy and return and tell others about you. the owner here did not even attempt to do any such thing, not only would I never return here but I would go out of my way to tell people not to purchase products here with such a strict policy of «final sale».

Do NOT shop at this beauty supply store. Go elsewhere. It may LOOK good. They have high-end brands, but so do plenty of other stores. That’s the only pro, the brands, and to that end, they’re missing some big ones. Here are the cons: — No returns. Exchange or store credit only within 7 days of purchase, even if never used and returned right away. — Owner is impossible to communicate with and pushes products — defective products, such as an 80 dollar roller set missing its pins. Set, by the way, was a garbage, and not because of the missing pins, although that confusion took 20 minutes to sort out in-store. Bad product for 80 bucks? Ugh. — Customer service in general is a nightmare, whether with owner, manager, or employees. — Retail mark-up at this store is atrocious. Look at other stores and look online. Roller set referenced was marked up 30 dollars over what Folica(reputable, guaranteed hair website) charges. Conclusion: South Bay friends, spend your money elsewhere. You’ll be glad you did.

I’m not shopping here ever again. I unfortunately learned today that they don’t do any refunds for any of their products. I tried returning the pricey hair product I purchased yesterday but the girl said I can only have a store credit but no return. Be careful if you shop here because you can’t return product after you buy it.

I’m the ultimate makeup/beauty stuff anything junkie & their selection is huge! Pretty much has everything I want/need and will hit this place up to get anything from my dermalogica, kinerase n other high-end lines to hairclips and other necessities. I like how I don’t have to go all the way to sephora(esp since there aren’t any nearby…) then a drugstore to get my fix. It’s also the cleanest & spacious store out of all the beauty stores in the area~

I’m not sure about their hair cut /salon service, but don’t buy any cosmetic/hair hardware stuffs here. Their mark up is so high, and they won’t even accept any returns.

One of my friends recommended this place, so I went there to get a haircut before my wedding. Not only walked out with a fantastic new doo, but also got some great advice on hair care/products. The girls there were super nice & patient while helping me pick out a new gel, and also got some nice stuff for my new wife to be. 5 Star! Thanks =)

I love this place! Mostly I stop by on my way to Whole Foods for a new OPI color or two but I have been known to make trips for other essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and makeup.(If only they sold Aveda products!) Their selection is unbeatable and the ladies are always friendly. I give this store five out of five stars indefinitely!

I loved this joint. I bought a cute vintage like tiara I can’t wait to sport. Tons of salon space as well and lots to look at. We played a gig right out in front they have medical skin lady can’t think of the fancy name she was so nice and gave us some really cool samples. The place was really clean and really nice not run down looking and the people were supper nice. I can’t wait to do more then just get a tiara hehehe need a dye job soon.
