While everything I’ve had here has been good, I have to say they have probably the best buttermilk bar I’ve ever eaten! You actually get the tang, which cuts some of the sweetness and richness… But is still plenty rich and decadent. Staff has always been super friendly and helpful(and not in the fake/superficial way many places think they can get away with).

I don’t live in the area, but when I pass by, I look forward to stopping here. It’s only my second time… and was excited to have another glazed because my first experience was so awesome! … it was 11:00 a.m. and they were out, already? Aren’t you open till 6 p.m. Sad.

I love this place! The donuts are always soft and delicious. They’re not overly sweet either. I haven’t had the bagels there, but I get the ham and cheese croissants and they’re delicious! I’m seriously addicted. Just a heads up though, if you ever get the jalapeño ones, be prepared for a TON of jalapeños on the inside. A little too much for me. The place is also clean and the owners are also super friendly. :)

5 stars for amazing staff. They make you feel like a regular from the moment you step in their shop. Donuts were good, they had a good variety left at 10am. Will visit again.

By far one of the best donut shops in the South Bay. Great staff, very kind. I’d definitely come here again. Old fashioned are the best!

Wow, it opens at 4AM. Well I didn’t go this early but around 6. I can tell that this place is well-loved by its loyal customers. The owner and the lady were cool and they smile, good vibe right? I got 2 dozens of assorted donuts, brought it to work and made my co-nurses jump for joy and FAT. I had one whole original glazed around 1130 and it was still soft, fluffy and yummy. So good with hot no-sugar black coffee! Clean donut shop.

UGH so good!!! They’re soft and fresh and delectable without being overly sweet. Their glazed are comparable to Krispy Kreme, I even think Moon’s is better! Hubby’s fave donuts are the frosted kind with rainbow sprinkles. Good selection, friendly service always!

This is our go to donut shop. My favorite by far is the glazed and sugar lemon filled! Theses donuts are made fresh daily and you can tell. If the donuts are still warm and I’m buying a dozen they will get a bigger box so they all lay flat. The owners are super nice and are always adding a donut hole to my kids donuts. The kids love it and they always ask to go to moon donuts :)

Such great donuts! Doesn’t get any better than this. I recently discovered this on a whim before going to my nail salon without having breakfast(happens to be right next door). So, on an empty stomach I went in and ordered a couple of donuts and to my surprise they were out of this world! Yes, the donuts here are cakey, very fluffy to the bite and soft enough to melt in your mouth. I’m actually craving some right as I write this! Anyway, they do have a large selection making it almost that much tougher to decide(as tough as picking out a nail polish color, haha). But, if you arrive late you better believe they’ll run out of your favorite flavor… They open really early(5am I believe) and bake daily, fresh and fast so get you some of the freshest donuts nice and early. As if it wasn’t enough sugar, I’ve also ordered their Vanilla Iced Coffee. It’s quite heavily sweet but as perfect as I would want it. And regarding the staff there, they’re such sweethearts they occasionally throw in some donut holes with my donut without me noticing. They’re always so patient(can’t decide on the flavor a lot) and kind. Donut waste any more time, go! ;)

The Best In the west by far !! Glazed donuts are nothing like you’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend you stopping in for a dozen or just to have a nice cup of fresh coffee and a donut. Get there early !!!

Classic Redondo beach donut spot and the most delicious! Friendly staff but this place is very popular so donuts run out quick on weekends! It’s a great place to pick up some donuts to go for a group breakfast at the beach or park :). I recommend their maple bars(caution: addicting af)

This place has the biggest donuts in the area. The only other place that has donuts bigger was this place near San Diego that’s known for huge donuts. But big doesn’t mean tasty. I mean you’ll get your donut fix here no problem, but the taste of the donut are ok. I think Donut Den on Pch probably has better tasting ones. They have the usually donut holes and the variety of donuts that I don’t know the names to, but I’m happy to just point and say, «that one.» Service is usually very fast, you can run in and out. They even have street parking on Torrance Blvd that you can just park for 5 min and run in so that you don’t have to park in their small parking lot and continue driving towards the new Nordstrom, but hey that’s a whole another review!

Donuts are as good as regular places but not as good as Christy’s or Jays. But my 2-stars is for mischarging by credit card $ 140 instead of $ 14. They told me they would call the credit card company. But a week later and still no correction. I think it was an oversight and they probably forgot to call the credit card company back. But that’s a pretty expensive oversight.

Solid 3. Was in the mood for donuts and it was 4am, so I asked Siri, «donuts» and here’s where I was led. It was 4am, so the donuts were plentiful, colorful, and fresh. The man working behind the counter, who also was making the donuts was very pleasant, which added to the experience. He was not the owner, but a dutiful employee indeed! The donuts. I tried three, which are the varieties I generally try to judge how good all the donuts are. It’s not scientific, but it works for me. Here are the three I tried: 1) glazed twist-it was still warm. very tasty. about the same consistency as white sandwich bread, which makes it just a little bit heavy and bready. 2) chocolate glazed old fashioned-generous chocolate glaze. the donut was a tad bready, but it was still OK. 3) apple fritter– $ 1.50 and very large. Lots of cinnamon flavor, ample apple too. They are very dark, which means they’ve been fried for a long time. I bit heavy and greasy, but pretty tasty. There were only a couple places to sit down in there on the counter. It’s not really a place to sit down and have coffee and donuts. I will definitely go back if I’m in the area. The guy behind the counter said they’d been there for over 30 years, and I’m sure they’ll be there for many more.

This is our Sunday morning destination! I love their jelly selection. My wife loves the blueberry cake and cinnamon crumb. Really, whichever flavor you are looking for, they will have it and it will be great. You just have to make sure you get there before everything is sold out. The service is great, prices are reasonable, and the staff is always friendly.

So nice to walk into a donut shop and receive a warm smile and«good morning»! I live near another donut shop that shouts at you when you enter«you want dozen!?» as their greeting and when you say«no thanks I just want one please» they frown and rush you through the line. Not at this donut shop, the ladies were friendly and greeted you before your order. But the best thing is these donuts are fantastic!!! So so fresh and not skimpy at all. It takes me 10 minutes rather than 2 minutes to get here versus the one across the street but sooo well worth it! Great job moon donuts!

It’s a good sign when you walk in and someone is buying 4 boxes of donuts. Of course, I love that it’s family owned. They were out of apple fritters, but what do you expect on a Sunday at 11 am. They must’ve been amazing. We opted for donut holes and a crumb. Doughy, fluffy and delicious. Not too sweet. Coffee is delicious too! P. S. It’s cash only
