I love the jewelry and the artwork this store carries. The silver jewelry is beautiful and reasonably priced. I met the owner my last time here and she seemed friendly. I would definitely come back to browse some more.

Reading all the reviews on this great little gem, noticed one from Sunny S… I’ve been shopping here since the day they opened and LOVE the owners. These two ladies wouldn’t talk smack about their competition, they’re too sweet and very professional, and have been around the block for a long time. The store is a find, and they always search out new artist with innovative home décor product, along very reasonable jewelry, as well as carrying the local artists with their cool product. Love their sense of style and how they merchandise the store.

Items are beautiful but much of the merchandise is so overpriced.

I really love the beautiful things they sell here. Some of the jewelry is really gorgeous and the accents for around the home are stunning. I’ve found a few gifts here that the recipients loved. My gripe with this place is that 3 different times I’ve shopped here, they have either«forgotten» to tell me about the current specials going on, or mishandled my credit card information. The first time, jewelry was Buy one, get one half-off, and I purchased two pieces of jewelry without receiving the discount, which I found out about later through a friend who had the same thing happen to her. She was able to get that fixed but I didn’t have the opportunity to go back in a reasonable amount of time. I chalked it up to an honest mistake and didn’t write the place off. The second time I went, I purchased some more jewelry and a few things for my home and was over charged on my bill — charged double actually, and they were able to fix it within a few days. I’ve worked in retail before so I’m pretty understanding that things happen and it wasn’t a big deal. I added them to my Facebook account after this to keep up to date with any cool specials going on. Now, the third time I purchased a few gifts for my Mom and spent a nice chunk of change there. When I got home and later checked my Facebook, I saw that they had been running a special where they were supposed to give $ 10 for every $ 50 spent(or something along those lines)… And I had spent enough to get a few of those! Not one word of this was mentioned to me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not oozing«wealth» when I come in in my yoga pants, hair a(kind of) mess from chasing a toddler around all day, or if it’s because I’m on the younger side and they just don’t want to cater to younger people, or because I don’t spend«enough» to gain some attention or respect, but I am officially over this place. I’ve lived in Redondo for almost a decade, right in the village. You could literally throw a rock from this store and hit my house. I’m bummed because I love to support our local shops and businesses. I feel like I’ve given them more chances than I should have, and I’m generally really easy to please!(Unless you ask my husband ;) Sorry fringe– I hate writing negative reviews but you kinda earned this one!

Could not be more excited to go into this world of creativity. So many beautiful one of a kind pieces in this store, it’s hard to pick one thing to take home with you. Friendly staff and always new unique items! I recommend this place to anyone!!!

By far the best store for nautical themed items in the area… beautiful high end pieces and reasonably priced. Also amazingly jewelry that is super inexpensive. Go at Christmas time for the most amazing ornaments that can’t be found anywhere else. Being a mermaid collector, I know they are not easy to find and Fringe never disappoints… there are many to choose from and for Christmas I found a beautiful four foot whale under my tree that I admired for months. Look for ladies nights… one of the best times shopping and eating :)

Love this place! Found out about this great South Redondo home accessories and other assorted pretty things shop/boutique from a girlfriend. I’ve since purchased home accessories, beachy things and birthday gifts for friends and Xmas gift for family members. My daughter often accompanies me and we find all kinds of cool mermaid trinkets as well as great earrings and other jewelry items. They have custom made furniture and chandeliers priced higher as well as items as low as $ 10. I’ve bought candles as well as originally made pieces for my home so if you’re looking for some unique items, especially beachy in nature, this is the place to go! I also like to shop in my own city as opposed to neighboring beach cities and its just a fun place to browse as well… You won’t be disappointed! And I love the ladies who own the shop; always helpful and friendly…

What a great place to find unique gifts for the home! They have an eclectic collection of items, ranging from expensive chandeliers and furniture to very reasonable(yet still unique) smaller pieces. This weekend’s find: an awesome cast iron Merman bottle opener. The jewelry selection is beautiful and affordable — this is my go-to shop for birthday gifts for the girls(with side action for me!). Keep up the outstanding merchandising!

I love this store! They have the most amazing, unique little items. I love mermaids and they have a bunch of cute little random mermaid things– like an antique-looking mermaid door knocker! How cool is that?! I want to buy up all of the cute little jewelry pieces in the store(I love sparkles) and the chandeliers are to die for– if only I had higher ceilings! The staff is friendly and were very helpful. I’m looking forward to going back when I have a bigger house that needs to be filled up!

Went to this place a few weeks and talked to the staff and a lady who appeared to be the owner. I really love all the stuff they sell. But they started bad mouthing some of the other stores and owners in the area and that really made me want to stop shopping there. The community is so small. I don’t understand why one store would talk bad about another. Competition is always going to be around but you won’t gain my business by talking smack about some other place.

I love this store! It has a total glamorous beach vibe with very unique pieces that are perfect for mixing and matching. They also do custom upholstery, like they’ll take a vintage chair and recover it in something fabulous. I have my eyes on these bar stools that are gorgeous, and I mean gorgeous by any measure because most bar stools are pretty bad. If you’re in the area, you have to stop by. The owner Debbie is a hoot and very very helpful.

I was unaware that Fringe had moved into my neighborhood until I was tipped off by a Unilocaler, yay! I loved their shop in Lomita which will be closing soon… but not before they hold a big clearance sale, I was told by the proprietor. Anyway, just as my Unilocalette friend described to me, the new Redondo location is better than ever. It’s across the street from Yellow Vase in Riviera Village. Fringe sells unusual stuff, an eclectic mix. There are antiques, and there’s new stuff too. I got lots of gift ideas when I stopped in the other day. Especially impressive were the glass chandeliers, and I am always attracted to colorful vintage glassware. Seashells are plentiful, in baskets at Fringe. I learned how beautiful the shells are when all cleaned up; with a cleaning process, the same rustic shells I pick up on Torrance Beach can be transformed into decorative, shimmering jewels, who knew… Welcome to the neighborhood, Fringe!
