Amanda is now located in Redondo Beach on PCH. I’ve been going to her for about a year and the price is definitely worth it. Amanda is very social, prompt and courteous. My haircut is pretty basic but she still makes you feel like your her best client. She does men’s hair coloring too (to get rid of the gray).
Also, she usually has pretty good music playing while she works.

Amanda took care of me and my hair/​nails on several occasions, during lunch times (hair trims), gel nails, hair styles, easy going chats. Always felt like personalized care– Thank you for the superb customer service!
She’s an expert at stylish hairdo’s.thanks for introducing me to some great lightweight products for my type. Not to mention, always a joy and to come chat with you about life. Amanda is awesome! I was looking for a stylist who specializes in color. I had black heat damaged hair that I wanted to go to a light ash blonde. I knew this meant my heat damaged hair needed to be bleached. To make a long story short Amanda took really good care of my hair and bleached it in a safe way. To eliminate any more hair damage we decided to do one process at a time and I have the coolest ombré ever. It’s like two shades of blonde that blend into this reddish color on the ends. I’ve gone in for touch ups and it only gets better. My hair is growing so fast, and I get tons of compliments. This is a review long over due. I really trust Amanda with my hair, she’s the coolest.

When you go in to see Amanda, you feel like you are visiting with an old friend, she has made sure her salon has a comfy cozy feel so she can first sit down with you and discuss what you have going on in your life. Since I’m an actress and usually working on a different play every time I go in to see her this is a major plus! What she’s doing is not just hearing what you have going on, but making an assessment as to what style or color will work best for you to work with on a daily basis since she’s not coming home with you to style it every day. (Oh how you’ll wish she would though, because her styling after the cut is finished always makes you feel like you need to go show your look off!)
I’ve gone in to see her with photos of colors I have in mind or cuts that I think might look nice, and each time she has given her honest professional opinion whether she agreed or not. If she doesn’t agree with your idea but your heart is still set, she will give you what you ask for, but chances are she will have a better idea. Any time I’ve gone with her suggestions, I’ve ended up much happier in the long run.
On top of the fantastic cuts, and amazing styling, I do need to mention, she gives the absolute BEST scalp massage when washing your hair!
If you’re looking for an amazing stylist, that is also completely honest, and never rude or judgmental, Amanda is DEFINITELY the lady you’ve been looking for!

Amanda suggested some Revlon products for styling my hair and now I can do it almost as good as she does! OMG So Happy!

I moved from LA about two years ago and lost contact with my last stylist. I found Amanda at the Ulta in Redondo Beach and she has been cutting and styling my hair since. I have wavy, fine, thinning hair and it was very difficult for me to find a stylist that would work with my hair. Amanda is great!!! she is very honest about helping me choose the «right» style. She did my hair about 3 weeks ago and I really love it. Amanda is very professional and reasonable priced for this area. Her studio in El Segundo is very clean and chic. Give Amanda a try, if you are looking for a new stylist, you’ll love her.

Ive been getting my eyebrows done with Bernadette for quiet some time now and now I am her eternal stocker! When I began seeing Bernadette my eyebrows where HORRIBLE and now they look AMAZING! She is a miracle worker! She is soo detailed and precise with her work. I am always more than pleased to walk in and get beautified by her. Plus I have to say I enjoy the conversations and good laughs we storm out. I love the new cozy set up these two chicks have done to their little salon.

Great place! I have been having my eyebrows done by Bernadette for awhile now. She does a great job and is super personable! I always recommend her to my friends.
