Redmond Werkshop

Peter and crew are amazing. They made my XC90 feel like a totally new car. I finally have confidence enough to hang over the keys to my teenage driver.

Fast and quality service. I dropped my car off on a Sunday, and they were looking at it by 7:30 am on Monday, finished mid-​afternoon on Tuesday. These guys accurately diagnosed and fixed a steering issue I have had for the past year that I’ve previously been told twice were different issues. That alone has gained my trust with them. They’re cheaper than the dealership, fair-​priced, and kind. Overall, a great experience.

A huge thank you to Cub and his gang at Redmond Werkshop, I was putting together an inexpensive transportation vehicle for my son and they were so helpful in locating some difficult parts and great input on how to on something’s. Very fair on the front suspension work I was not able to do. Thank you very much!
My daughter now lives in San Diego, but has been very accommodating when she is in town and wants to get her car serviced. Great place I have been going to for many years.

I am so glad that a friend referred us to the Werkshop a few years back. We were getting a little sick of paying dealership prices for all our maintenance and repairsm which are pricey on these foreign cars! The staff here is knowledgeable, honest and fair. They are not ones to push upgrades and services that are not needed. On several occasions I have been told that a certain service could be pushed back a little or that a part could be found cheaper elsewhere or that they could offer me a deal since we’ve had so much work done with them. We’ve taken four of our cars there for years and will continue to do so.

I left feeling good about my decision to visit the Werkshop. A buddy of mine heard from a friend at work that he had a good experience here. I was asking for recommendations from friends to take my 2008 Audi A4. Great customer service, I felt as though they were very honest with me, customer service focused. They offered options, explained things to me, educated me. Really great experience, I’ll be back and will for sure recommend to others.

In May, I brought my 2006 Subaru to this shop for a timing belt and drive belts. We moved the car to San Francisco for my daughter and she began having issues with the drive belts again. The shop down there indicated that the belts needed to be changed again because the belts used were of high quality, but known (to the shop in SF) to not fit the Subaru. They used Subaru belts. I called Redmond Werkshop and informed them of the issue and they are paying for the new repair. That is customer service. Thank you.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I brought my newly bought used car in there for a service. The engine light was on and I asked them to check it out. Afterwards, they said everything looked good so they just reset the engine light (they didn’t do anything about it) and they charged me $ 30 for just resetting the light.
2 days later, the engine light came right back on.

I continue to stand by Redmond Werkshop. Still amazing, still great pricing. Now they do Subaru work, I’ve referred a few of my scooby-​doo friends/​family to go here and they’ve never been disappointed.

The only place I have had my Audi s4 repaired reliably. Much better than the dealer for much less money!

I took my Forester to Redmond Werkshop for its first oil change since they advertise themselves as master Subaru mechanics. It cost $ 59.82, which is a lot higher than I’m used to paying for an oil change, but I had decided that I wanted to take really good care of this car, so I went with it.
When I picked up the car, I asked what type of oil they used, and they said a blend of synthetic and conventional, and I believe it was 10W30 (I can’t be 100% sure here, the invoice doesn’t show it). I looked in my manual and found that the Forester requires fully synthetic 5W20 oil. I showed it to the front desk guy, and he actually said «wow», he’d never heard of a car requiring 5W20. This is a shop with a big sign out front advertising themselves as master Subaru mechanics, and they don’t even know what type of oil the car requires.
Anyway, it’s not a terrible experience, but I want to service my car by the book, and was disappointed that they didn’t even know my car’s requirements. I feel like I got a Jiffy-​Lube level of service for double the price.

This place is just fantastic and I’ve done all my Audi A4 servicing here. Reasonably priced and they know their stuff. They follow up using a website to remind you to service your car and thank you for the service. The people are super friendly and try to help you out when they can, including trying to find me used parts.
This is one of those places that’s so good I want to come home and write a Unilocal review :-)

Clean shop. Work done right and fair prices.

I absolutely love Redmond Wershop! Honest, educated employees, providing the best prices. They fixed the exhaust system on my Audi A4 for about $ 400 less than on cap hill and did a great job. Darell is becoming my personal handyman for all things automotive– even tracking down parts for my Audi when I scratched up the doors! Awesome business.

Bought a used dud and these guys helped me bring it back to life with a rebuilt engine. Can do most of the minor stuff myself but I definitely have these guys take a look at my baby from time to time to make sure all of it looks good. Nice guys working the front desk.

They are fast, honest and reliable. I took in a newly purchased used Audi A4 and they got me up and running for a minimal amount of money. They also made recommendations on what needed to be fixed sooner than later and what could wait a little bit longer. I will definitely be taking my Audi back to these guys again.

Thankfully there’s a guy there that just LOVES Subarus! Because of his passion, he fixed the everlasting oxygen sensor problem I had with mine Subaru (see review on Greg’s Auto in Seattle).

I love Redmond Werkshop.
I’m not the only one what squirms with the thought of having to take your car in for anything — right?
But RW makes me happy like sunshine on a cloudy day!
The prices are way cheaper then the dealer, the service is more reliable then the dealer, and man — the customer service is spectacular. It was one of those places where you leave smiling because the people were so nice =)
Ps. The guy forgot to call me when my car was done but regardless, they still get 5 stars in my book.
