Looking for a local business with a great staff for all your party favors, gift wrapping and packaging needs, this is the place. A hidden gem on the east side.

This store is great. My coworker told me to check this place out and it doesn’t disappoint. Lots of ribbon, boxes, tissue and wrap. The wrapping paper is more on the expensive side. They even offer gift wrapping services with a few days notice. Have every color of tissue and lots of odd and ends such as the checkered paper to line food trays and little coffee bags with the roll over top(which I’m using for bridal shower favors). Also have labels and tags and tons of cellophane bag options

All kinds of gift wrap, tons of different styles of boxes from teeny tiny to here’s a giant bottle of wine and much more. Excellent for baked goods, candies, jewelry, etc. and for small businesses looking for a certain style to set them apart(Etsy, etc.). Lots of ribbon colors & styles and labels galore. If you are a novice or an expert you’ll find what you need here for packaging including box/bag fillers, tissue wrap, and more. This location does not carry shipping boxes but I overheard that their Seattle location does. I imagine you can find certain items for less online but if you only need a few things or need something in the quick then this place is perfect. You can also order items in bulk. It’s not a huge place but they have a pretty amazing selection. Definitely recommend a visit, it’s very inspiring.

Need to wrap a present and want it to look really cool? Check out this store. Great ideas for wrapping just about anything. Boxes, bags, ribbons, fluff ! Excellent ideas for beginners and the experienced crafter. Also, important for small business owners, they have bulk tissue paper, and bags for stores in larger quantities. There is always items for weddings. Staff is very friendly and service is fast!

Beautiful ribbons, and lots and lots of ideas on how to package a gift just so. Tiny boxes, jewelry style boxes, clear sleeves and envelopes. I’ve picked up placecard holders, and they even sell marsupial stationary! Once you step inside, you find yourself with thoughts of creative wrapping swirling through your mind. Every little thing becomes an inspiration, and you feel as though you could package everything from cookies to cards!

This is one of my favorite stores in the whole world! I feel like a kid in a candy store whenever I am there and can spend alot of time just looking at everything! If you are looking for something to make your gifts just a little more special, this is the place to go! This place is filled with boxes, bags, wrapping paper, cards and oh so many ribbons! They also have tons of items that you can’t find at other craft stores. If you need ideas, the staff is great and eager to help. The only downside is this store closes early compared to other craft-type stores in the area.

I love this store for all it’s creative and insperational items. Anything you need to wrap a gift, create wedding gifts is here. The only issue I have with this store is the over blown prices. They are crazy! I shop here only when I cannot order from papermart directly.

Packaging Specialties is like stepping into Martha Stewart fantasy land. Crisp, clear cellophane bags beckon you by the hundreds to be filled with homemade cookies, your special crafts or even a simple card. You don’t have paper for that special card? No problem. Packaging Specialties has that too. You don’t have ribbon to seal up the bag? No problem. They’ve got that too! You would think a great selection of gift wrapping items and a helpful sales staff would be enough for this store to excel at, but they also offer great craft classes. Many of the classes are even free.(Yes, they’re showing you how to make stuff with items they sell so it all evens out but trust me, you won’t be making a toilet roll cover in the form of doll with a huge skirt, I promise.) Now you too can awe your friends with luxuriously packaged gifts. After all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Don’t want to ever step foot on the eastside. Never fear. There’s one in Seattle(south of SoDo) as well.

Packaging Specialties is one of my must stop places during the holidays and whenever I’m preparing gifts. Tons of boxes in different shapes, candy bags, paper bags… etc and a whole wall of ribbons. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to find any ugly wrapping paper with 54 Father Christmas on it here, they do sell unique wrapping papers by the sheet. Staffs are friendly, and very helpful. If you have an octahedron shaped gift, just go in and I’m sure they’ll find a way to make it pretty.
