Not sure why they decided to change the name. This spot on the Microsoft West Campus used to be formerly known as Pike Place @ The Commons. The setup remains pretty much the same here. Here you will find a bakery counter, sandwich counter and hot buffet. I haven’t frequented the sandwich counter and hot buffet in many years since I am rarely on campus these days. However, from time to time I will stop by the bakery counter for a snack. The offerings here are pretty standard. You will find typical bakery items like croissants, muffins and scones on one side. The other side is filled with dessert baked goods like cupcakes and dessert bars. Prices are pretty reasonable. Some are average values, but some things seem lower than what you pay outside for the same thing. Quality of the baked goods are okay, hit and miss. The bran muffin($ 1.85) that I had here a couple days ago was moist and had many tasty toppings in it. While the pineapple turnover($ 1.95) I got had very little filling inside the crust. If you are looking for some baked goods for breakfast or a snack on the MS campus, Post Alley is a good place to go. Though you should also check out some of the MS cafes nearby as well as they have offerings like in-house baked French pastries(Café 16) and Frost doughnuts(Café 112).
