The small size phở is plenty! The broth is too salty, but the noodles were yummy and the beef was on point. Shop is very clean and spacious, I’ll be back if I’m around the area again. They also seem to be the same store as Jazen tea, they have a combined menu and everything.

I went to this place today for phở but I’ve been to the bubble tea place a couple times before. Bubble tea: The bubble tea is very tasty and original! Everything is so unique and flavorful! My favorite is the Honey Dream. It’s made of honey tea, lychee and strawberry pieces(like actual real fruit pieces!), chia seeds, and aloe vera! It was honestly so delicious and actually tasted like it had tea unlike more bubble tea places! I also loved the small pieces of lychee at the bottom of the cup and the fact that it smelt like roses and honey! I’d deffo recommend the bubble tea to a friend who likes to drink tea(not just Americanized bubble tea hehe). Phở: I usually get my phở from University Ave(aka udistrict) but today I was in Bellevue and decided to get phở here. It was WAYBETTER than anything I’ve ever had on the Ave! I got one of my favorite classics — number 21(beef meatballs and flank). The broth was very flavorful and actually tasted like beef broth! The meatballs were the only thing that could use improvement… they were a little hard and there was only 1 in the small phở(2 half balls). But the beef flank was so delish and tasted very fresh just like the vegetables! I’m deffo sticking to this place for phở from now on! I’ve tried everything on The Ave and this places beats them all by a landslide! There were also ALOT of noodles in the phở and I had a tiny bit left over when I can usually finish the whole thing! Service: The phở took about 2 minutes to come out which is always my favorite thing about phở places haha. They got my bubble tea ready in only ~ 2minutes as I was heading out! Checking out was fast and the waiters were easy to get to the table for extra requests(like asking for a fork since I suck at chopsticks). I went at 7:30pm on a Monday evening so not sure if that had to do with it. It was half full. Additional tips: They have these guava candies at the cash register on the phở side of the restaurant. They’re SOGOOD.

I’ve been coming to this location for the last 4 years. Lunch time previously, this place was packed out the door. I have to mention, that since this Phở Hoa has merged with Jazen tea. Well, now they do have some nice teas and drinks, but I feel the quality of the food has gone down, or is not consistent. The restaurant doesn’t seem as busy. And now they offer free or discounted kids meals at certain times. Which is nice. But maybe a sign the restaurant is doing as well. With the merger prices also went up. Today I had a number 45 and it was great. But there have been other times the soup base tastes a bit off, or the meat quantity was lacking. Enough that I started going to some of the other Phở restaurants in the area. Most of all, the quality of the Banh Mi sandwiches has changed. Since the change my wife ordered a couple of Banh Mi chicken sandwiches. And they were terrible. Because of that, for awhile the sandwich fix was taken over by going to Yeh Yeh’s. Unfortunately they have closed down. So at the moment. I say it is a mixed bag. You might get good food. You might not.

My family and I have been coming to this place for years. I really like the new layout of the place after they remodeled and combined with jazen tea – that’s a combo that works. It’s relaxing and chill but also quiet enough to talk and hear yourself. The phở broth is so good. Like it’s perfect. SOGOOD. I’m not the biggest fan of the noodles but I could just drink the broth all day and be satisfied. The Banh Mi is also a good option. It’s a pretty good value for a 8 inch sandwich at about $ 4. The grilled pork is good but not as good as some other Vietnamese places I’ve been but it’s still good. I think the best part of this place is definitely the broth. Definitely have phở broth cravings for this place.

We came in at Happy Hour(2−6pm) and were seated pretty quickly. They said we could sit wherever we liked. Cool. A couple minutes later, someone came over to bring us water and menus. He came back a couple minutes later to see if we were ready and we ordered two grilled chicken vermicelli bowls and two teas(Phở Hoa was connected to Jazen Tea). My boyfriend got the Paradise Passion tea and I got Calamsi tea with honey boba. The teas were brought to our table a few minutes after the order was placed, which was pretty impressive. There were a few other customers in the Jazen Tea area and throughout our wait, a few others came in for tea, as well. So after 25 minutes of waiting, we still have NOT received our orders but we decided to give them a little more time. At the 35 minute mark of waiting, still no food and no one even came by to check on us after we got the teas. Finally the guy manning the Jazen Tea counter came over to ask if we were still waiting for our food… I was fed up at this point because we clearly were sitting in the restaurant area, chopsticks ready, without any food. I replied and said, «Yes, we were waiting for our orders but it’s been at least 35 minutes since we placed them and we’re not waiting any longer. Can we please get the check for the teas?» He said, «oh yes, of course», so I followed him to the counter. What I appreciated was that he apologized and gave us an additional 10% off of the Happy Hour price and said he would go in the back to see what was going on. I told him that a 35 minute wait was unacceptable, especially since there weren’t any customers in the restaurant area other than the two of us. He agreed. We never found out what happened to our order. Were they in the process of prepping it? I don’t know. Maybe they just forgot? Most likely. We ended up calling Phở Tai(on NE20th St) and ordered the same thing for pickup and it was ready in 8 minutes! 8 frickin minutes. Seriously? Don’t get me wrong, 8 minutes is amazing! But it made me wonder WTF the employees at Phở Hoa were doing the entire time. We saw at least 4 employees«working» then. A female employee was shouting about moving around the schedule so someone can have Friday off. Dude, you had customers waiting for food they ordered 35 minutes ago and you’re yelling about that mess? Clearly your focus is not in Customer Service. You don’t care if your customers starve or that you’re wasting their precious time. Because of that, we won’t be back and will most definitely NOT recommend you to our friends and family. Why 2 Stars? — Seated quickly — Orders were taken in a timely manner — Teas were tasty and came out fast — The two employees who helped us were courteous

My manager said the rice vermicelli dish is about a 3⁄5. My 3 other friends didn’t have time to comment while stomaching all the phở. I give the phở I got a 4⁄5. The girls there are really cute, 5⁄5. Overall 4⁄5.

Every time I go here everyone is super friendly. They always accommodate to my requests here but I don’t know how i should feel because almost evert time I’m done dining here my stomach is in knots afterwards. I’ve had their jasmine milk tea and it was watered down & I’m also not a big fad of their Caribbean Jazen tea smoothie

If you would have asked me a month ago, I would have given this place 5 stars. I came here soo often but things have been changing lately and I’m so disappointed! Tonight we got in late after the gym so my boyfriend and I were starved and super excited to eat. Long story short the orders kept getting mixed up and we never got the orders that we wanted. Normally, I this wouldn’t be a huge problem but the phở bowls we did get served were SUPER salty and there was barely any meat. I ate half of it because I was so hungry and every where else was closed. Had it been midday I would have left! The only saving grace was the two servers, a new girl, I didn’t catch her name, and Christian. They were really apologetic and it seemed like they really felt bad. The other girl working completely ignored me when I told them they still got the order wrong. «I’m pretty sure we got it right.» And walked away… Okay… Probably not going to come back here for a while but we’ll see.

The last time I came here, our waiter Christian, was nice to turn down the TV(which we were sitting under) and wait to bring out our soup until everyone arrived at the table! He also brought us extra peanut sauce for our spring rolls. I always come here for phở and am satisfied every time! In particular, we are fans of the brisket phở.

I’ve had many experiences with Phở Hoa — both before the remodel and after. Before the remodel, the restaurant had limited tables available, and every time, yes every time I would come here for lunch, we ALWAYS had to wait in line. We would always come during«off peak times», aka 11am, after 1pm, but we could never avoid a line. The lines never really bothered me though because we would usually get seated within 10 minutes. And since it’s phở, the food comes out pretty quickly once you order. After the remodel, now there are PLENTY of tables and you don’t have to worry about arriving at a specific time in order to get a table. However, I’m not a huge fan of the merge they did with Jazen Tea. Because of the merge, the employees are working both for Phở Hoa and Jazen Tea, so if one gets more crowded than the other, their attention and service is drawn to that. I recently came here with a group of friends and we had to wait more than 10 minutes to place our order. We saw smaller groups of tables get their order in AND their food before us even before we placed our order. This kind of annoyed me a bit, but I felt like I was more patient only because I love the phở here and never have had a bad experience food-wise here. Food-wise — this has and still is my favorite place to grab phở. The restaurant is clean, service is fast, phở/soup always comes out nice and hot, and if you ask for another plate of bean sprouts, they’ll actually provide that for you! I wish there was a Phở Hoa location closer to me in Seattle. That would definitely be my go-to spot whenever I have a craving for phở!

Last time I came here was about 4 – 5 years ago with my fam. We stopped coming here because we found better Phở place closer to our house. I came here to eat on 10÷23÷15 after buying a box of cake at Regent Bakery and Phở did sound good on a rainy and cold day! Their service was pretty fast. I got seated right away(@8 pm I think). Only 1 – 2 servers were working at that time. She was so fast that she didn’t even give me time to look at the menu lol. I mean I don’t mind too much, but if you’re gonna give me a menu and ask for what I want right away… what’s the point? Oh well, 2 stars doesn’t come solely from their service. The 2 stars came from their phở. I think for the medium size with that price(7 – 8 dollars I forgot), it wasn’t really worth it. I feel like they should have given larger portion. The soup was alright, worse than many other phở places that I like. I would rather go to Phở Than Brothers. They have better broth and larger portion. Their side vegetable plate was pretty fresh though. That’s something that I think was great. The service was typical Vietnamese place; their price was a bit too pricey for amount I got; their broth was normal(the main part of phở) So, overall I would give this place only 2 stars. I didn’t try their boba tea because I was craving for Taro smoothie and they didn’t have it. Oh well. I might come back, I’m not sure. If I find somewhere better, I rather go there.

I will never come here again. Service was pretty bad. I was seated & order taken, but never offered water. Had to go to counter to ask for chili paste, then was given water(meanwhile, girl working here in the corner was on her phone). But that’s nowhere near as bad as the phở. Hardly any chicken and most of it the worst, most unappetizing looking pieces I’d ever seen. This place is like the Arby’s of phở. Take me to Than Bro’s, please.

ABSOLUTELYLIVID. For starters… There’s a sign that says«Please wait to be seated.» So my boyfriend and I sat there and waited. The Guy was helping someone so I excused being ignored, but what wasn’t excused was being ignored after that other customer left. He was behind the counter drinking his drink and talking to his other co workers. After getting seated, we order a small chicken phở, pork banh mi, 2 teas, and 2 summer rolls. The chicken phở comes at record speed. Like… Suspiciously quick. First sip of the broth and it’s warm. Not hot like it should be. Ok, fine. But I flip over the noodles and find a freaking bug. After I politely let them know what I found, they offer me a new bowl, which I declined. I move to the summer rolls and I eat one, which seemed good to me. BUT. I take a look at the second one and I find brown bean sprouts. I’m pretty sure they aren’t supposed to be that color. My boyfriend and I have strong stomach pains today(we had dinner here last night). Ending on a positive note, the server(Christian?) and the general manager were very accommodating and apologetic.

This place recently had a renovation and merger with Jazen Tea. Ever since it’s reopening the place has been filled with bright colors and is pretty hip and clean. Within the Redmond proximity, this is my go-to place for Phở. However, it is pretty pricy with a 8.95 for a Regular size. For me the phở tastes like phở, but the soup is pretty salty and lacks a bit of the beef taste in the broth. The noodles have a good texture to me and there’s a good amount of meat in it. The service is fast and attentive, it took maybe 5 minutes to get my phở, not too bad. The phở came in piping hot, so it was a great temperature to warm up my bean sprouts. At Phở Hoa you can get a combo for about $ 11-$ 12 with a Regular Phở and a Milk tea. It’s not a bad deal, but I’m not a huge fan of the Jazen Tea milk tea. Anyways, if you’re looking for a phở place in Redmond, check this place out!

I get the vegetarian phở with a bbt and love it. Only issues are: — Vegetarian phở doesn’t come with a bbt combo — some staff have trouble with english so my bbt order doesn’t come out correctly but I keep coming back, so clearly it doesn’t bother me enough :)

Honestly, it taste like any other phở place I’ve been to. The soup lacks that deep savory beef flavor and I kept slurping on it trying to get more taste. Didn’t work. It was alright tho. Not bad enough to complain about but not good enough to be a loyal customer. Noodles were cooked in advanced and placed in a bowl, awaiting for the hot broth. They were soft but not chewy. They kept breaking apart. Meat was good. Plenty of it. Not memorable. Not bad. But not good.

This place has pretty good phở — nothing special. I like that there is a Jazen tea place inside. I would recommend their phở + Jazen tea combo for 10.95. The regular sized Jazen tea that comes with it is quite large — the cup is short and wide. We got the Lychee Explosion with aloe and we loved it! Very refreshing and not too sweet. Service was average. You go up to the register to pay. Décor was clean. Overall, this is your average phở place, but with the added bonus of having a fruit/milk tea place built in!

I ordered their $ 4 grilled pork Banh Mi again, in an attempt to compare them with Yeh Yeh’s at $ 4.50. The bread is pretty good at Phở Hoa/Jazen’s, though YY’s a bit more toasted I think. The only lacking here is they don’t put nearly enough veggies /marinated pickles into the sandwich. Otherwise the grilled pork tastes fine. I also tried their $ 2.20 spring roll appetizer, this is a disappointment though. It has a lot of rice noodles and not much of anything else, little veggies and 3 small shrimp. The peanut sauce was good so made up for the lack of ingredients a bit.

I actually stopped by for some Jazen tea and decided last minute to get food too at the connecting Phở Hoa while I was here. I walked in and there were two lone customers at 11am and an older man at the register who paid me no attention. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to seat myself so I wandered over to the old man. A younger woman came up to me and told me that I could grab a seat anywhere and upon looking at the menu noticed that this place was a little pricier than most. I decided to just do takeout and ordered the pork banh mi sandwich which took its sweet time coming out. Another man ordered the same thing as me but ordered after me and got his sammie before I did! At least the bread was crusty and warm and there were a good amount of pork(although some of which were a little fatty). The«pickled» carrots & cucumbers could stand more pickling too. Overall it’s a tasty and large sandwich though at $ 3.99 is more expensive than the ID district.

I’ve been a loyal customer to this restaurant for about as long as they’ve been around. That must be around ten years ago now, and they were also one of the first restaurants I reviewed nearly three years ago. Recently, they closed the store down temporarily to remodel the place and merge with Jazen Tea. So after all this time, how have they changed? Well, the answer is… not much! Phở Hoa is about the same as it always has been. The merger has two very obvious features: the restaurant is now teaming up with a bubble tea store, and of course the place is brand new and even cleaner than it had been. The two businesses function together and might as well be a single entity because my orders from both places were combined on a single receipt. The bubble tea is okay, but I’m here to talk about the noodles in this review. Honestly, I don’t notice any difference. The phở is the same as it always has been. I always get the number 45 because it has the most stuff in it, but even this bowl feels kind of plain. Maybe it’s just because I’ve been eating it so much, probably almost a hundred times in my life by now. Their vermicelli dishes are okay as well; they come in very flat bowls that might as well be plates which I find interesting. Their banh mi has way too much mayonnaise and thus tastes very fattening, but I always go to Yeh Yeh’s for Vietnamese sandwiches anyway. I still like this restaurant, but it doesn’t impress me nearly as much as it did when I was a kid.
