Our furnace was giving us problems in the winter. Called the authorized dealer of Carrier and was quoted $ 2000 for repairing a $ 4000 furnace! I called Pearce to give me a quote on a new furnace. Thankfully Claire from Pearce, came over, diagnosed the problem as a faulty inducer motor and fixed the problem for $ 350. Claire was quick, knew what was going on, was communicative and promptly fixed the issue. He also gave us a few tricks to get the furnace working till the new part came. Very happy with the service.

Amazed how everything went as planned. Owning a restaurant I understand unforeseen events. Brian took great attention to bids, explanation of the products, my schedule, warranty work and getting rid of everything. I am very happy with Pearce heating. I can honestly say I save about $ 40.00 a month in the winter and my home is always warm. Thanks Brian.

Our furnace died when it was freezing outside. The first company we called got the heat back on, but found another issue with the heat exchanger. All the companies we called were very busy and couldn’t send anyone out for days. Brian the owner had another errand to run in our neighborhood and offered to take a look for no charge.
He confirmed the first companies issue and did a more thorough check and found a few other issues. They parts were all covered under warranty and we paid for the labor. I thought their labor charge was slightly higher than other companies but he was more detailed in his inspection. They sent a detailed work proposal for the work to be done and the price which was firm and exactly what was charged.
The technician arrived on time was polite and answered some questions about
when to start getting estimates even gave some suggestion on the installation.
He could have cleaned up a little better after the job. There were pieces of plastic wrap left behind.

Our heat stopped working right in the middle of a cold winter week. We called around to four or five different local companies and compared prices. Pearce was not only the most reasonable option, but they were also the only company willing to come out on the same day! They were on time and did an amazing job getting our heat running again. They are working to get the part covered by warranty as well. Oh and I should mention the part was located down in Fife and they sent someone down there to pick it up to ensure we had heat as quickly as possible. No waiting required. I am glad to have a furnace company I can recommend without reservation!

Pearce Heating & Air Conditioning just completed a conversion of our electric hot water heater to gas. I had compared their work estimate to six other contractors recommended by PSE. Their work estimate was the clearest and among the fairest priced. By «clearest,» I mean that their detail of the work was the most thorough, and they provided the best documentation for selecting the water heater unit. It is not often that I meet a contractor like Brian Pearce whose word and integrity are demonstrated so consistently and admirably. It was anything but a simple or straightforward job, and they completed the work exactly as they had promised. They finished the job by making the installation look much better than the original — carefully cutting into the ceiling to install an exhaust flue and covering the hole neatly with a metal plate. They also steered me to the right water heater — my family has found the unit to be so efficient that they can take showers now without running out of hot water. I was also impressed with the thoroughness of their testing to make sure that my family would not be at any risk of CO leakage. I also liked how they explained everything that they were doing as the work was being completed — something that I find quite admirable since other contractors usually are uncomfortable with the customer’s presence. Every contractor that has seen the hot water and attic flue installation has specifically admired the work done by Pearce. Without hesitation, I would use Pearce Heating again since I found them to be the most straightforward and honest and the quality of their work to be impeccable.
