On The Go Moving and Storage

These guys are great! They arrived on schedule and moved surprisingly fast. We had an issue with a stuck padlock preventing us from moving some stuff, and they rushed a guy over with bolt cutters to keep the team moving along. They didn’t hurt anything in the move, and they were very respectful of our home and (still sleeping) family. They even volunteered to hook up our washer and dryer, which is not typical of moving companies!

These guys did a great job. .. Tyler the crew leader and his able colleagues Freddy and Vince. My move was a relatively simple one, moving a few large items from a single family home into an apartment 4 miles away. They showed up on time (actually ten minutes early) at the origin location, had the stuff loaded in an amazingly fast 30 – 40 minutes, arrived at the destination quickly, and had everything offloaded and in place in about 40 minutes. No damage to any of the possessions. The crew was competent, friendly, and they worked hard and moved fast.
All pre-​move communication was professional and timely.
I would absolutely use them again if I have another in-​town move, and absolutely recommend and endorse them to others.

We are very happy with On the Go Moving and Storage! They showed up on time, took extra care to safely wrap/​unwrap, dismantle/​reassemble our furniture and moved our belongings with great attitudes and attention to detail. We had several heavy (500+ lbs) and bulky items that they were able to handle without any damage to property. A special shout out to Rene, Tyler, Anthony, Freddy and Robert D! Your hard work and pride in what you do made this a great experience!

On The Go Moving was fantastic from the first phone call to the finish of our office move. They set everything up with almost no effort on our part, showed up when they said they would and finished moving everything from Seattle to Bellevue in the expected amount of time. Their pricing is reasonable and they handled everything in a highly professional and efficient manner. Rene, John and Robert were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make things as easy as possible for us. I would highly recommend On The Go Moving for anyone who wants a reliable move for a reasonable price.

We hired On the go moving for a short move within the same apartment community. Ryan and Chris did bring the truck, but realized that its easier to carry stuff by hand and did an excellent job of moving things efficiently on time. They did not charge us for the truck. I would definitely choose On the go moving for my next move.

Aaron, Rishano and Nick helped us move into our new house. Both our move-​out and move-​in locations were in Issaquah, so it was an easy move. They were careful with our boxes and furniture and the experience was extremely stress-​free. While moving in, they were careful to put down moving blankets and runners to cover our steam cleaned carpets. They disassembled and reassembled furniture without any issue. They also helped haul away some pieces of furniture that we did not need anymore at an extra cost. They even gave me an extra $ 50 off for being an Angie’s List member. I appreciate their hard work, and would recommend their services.

Brendan, Skylar, and Chris came out and did my move. It was a small move from one apartment to another in Redmond. My personal lack of time and my large furniture were huge factors in wanting a moving company.
First off, they did great. They were very straightforward with me, worked hard the entire day, and did not leave me with any questions. Their friendliness was the greatest part about it all, seconded closely by their professionalism and care for my stuff. The new place I moved to had stairs and without a single complaint they moved every box to the right location. I will definitely use them the next time I need to move, which will hopefully not be for several years.
As a note, I moved on a Tuesday so I could take advantage of their 10% off deal, which was nice, as well. Hopefully this quick review gets these three guys an additional incentive as they most certainly deserve it.

I did a move from Belltown to Renton using On the go. We had our apartment mostly boxed and I had budgeted a set amount I expected it to be. They turned up on time, packed everything faster than I expected by a lot, unloaded just as fast while being careful not to dirty the carpet more than they had to and came in under budget. I was very happy with the job and gave a higher than average tip, but most of all will use them again the next time we move.
As a side note one of the 3 man crew wasn’t able to make it but they found a replacement ASAP, and pro rated the time to be at the two man crew rate. Very professional and impressed me greatly. As a side note I was referred On the go movers by our previous apartment complex manager Kendra, who told me that they were one of the recommended movers for our complex and they did a fantastic job.

Recently had On The Go Moving move some of the furniture from our current home (Sammamish) to our new home in Gig Harbor. Tyler, Robert, Steve, and Ryan were simply great. They arrived on time and set to work loading items from our home up a treacherous driveway to the truck. They were both efficient and careful with some valuable items transferred from a three story house where many of the furnishings had to stay in place.
Also worth mentioning that the company worked with us in changing the date of the move to avoid a rainy day. We’ll be moving the rest of our household in a couple of months. We’ll be using «On the Go» for that move.

I had to move 5 times in a short time span and they were awesome each time.

I ended up in a bizarre situation where I had to hire someone to move my stuff out of my house and into another without being able to be there. I had a lot of valuable stuff, like signed sports jerseys, coins, etc., and in addition to all of the household items, I have a large and extremely heavy (even when empty) gunsafe.
I hired these guys based on a recommendation, and I was pleased beyond measure. They were extremely respectful of everything, and took care of them. It took four guys to move the gunsafe, but they did it without damaging anything, laying down moving pads, etc. Everything made it through just fine. No damage to the moved items nor to either house. I was very impressed by how careful and caring they were.
I grew up in a military family, so I’ve been moving all my life. I’ve had plenty of experience with movers damaging and losing things, and was happily surprised to find everything came through and nothing was damaged.
I am not sure why the one negative reviewer chose to start a new thread for this company, but it makes me think that maybe they have some agenda other than an honest review, so I figured I’d post my review on this thread as well, to let anyone know who is reading that these guys were professional, careful, efficient, and did not cause any damage nor in any way overcharge.

First. the good. Arrived somewhat on time (one of 3 workers was late) and got the job done.
The bad: left an item behind in the parking lot I had to go back for, one worker fell off the ramp and bled on the new carpet (luckily not seriously hurt), they removed some furniture bracketry without my knowledge and didn’t remember to include it (my desk is still in pieces until I can order parts), took over an hour to drive 9 miles (charging me for the time of course), tried to overcharge me $ 15 an hour more than I was quoted, dragged a greasy refrigerator across a white carpet.
Other that that, a stellar experience. Shop around folks, these guys care nothing about your stuff.
