Best Teriyaki on the eastside! Generous portions! Nice staff. Also if you like to make things spicy, they can accommodate well. Lots of beverage choices. You can get all the sauce or dressing you want at no extra charge. Prices are average and portions are large, with good meat quality too!!! If you haven’t been definitely give it a try. This place has stayed consistent in serving great flavors/portions/price for years!

Love this place. Been coming here for four years. You can get as much teriyaki sauce as you want

Teriyaki in Redmond… Find another place. Not special about this place — save yourself the trouble and go down Redmond Way to Bear Creek shopping center(where Ross and Safeway are) and there are better Teriyaki choices there. Everything is bland, tempura is all soggy, there’s just nothing good here to eat. Sunny or Yummy Teriyaki down the street is worth you dollars.

We had seen this place few times while at trader joes so gave this a try. Was little disappointed with the food and not on par with some of the best we have tried. Though they screwed up our order, rating is mostly based on taste. I would suggest owner try couple of good teriyaki places in issaquah and factoria that is our favorites to step up the game.

Unfortunately for Niko, I either love something or hate something; in Niko’s case, I hated it. I wanted to like this place so much since it’s close to my work. Unfortunately, I cannot help that it’s awful teriyaki. I got the lunch special, which today was chicken that comes with a small salad with RANCH dressing – I suspect Ken’s Steak House ranch. I love the salad dressings at other teriyaki places.. . either some sort of honey ginger or peanut sauce dressing.. . but ranch? The meat was extremely dry and I had to add extra teriyaki sauce to prevent from choking. I’d say between 25 and 50% of the meat had cartilage that I had to chew through. To top it all off the lunch special is $ 6.40 yet I payed $ 7.50 for my lunch. I’m pretty sure tax isn’t 17%. Please save yourself from a choking hazard. There’s better out there.

You will not leave this place hungry, that I promise you. Each meal comes with rice and salad. You can sub brown rice for an additional charge is that’s your preference and I think for an additional charge you can also sub noodles. Don’t quote me on that, but I am pretty sure I heard someone do that when I was there last. When the salad comes out, it has minimal dressing but there is a separate thing of salad dressing behind the garbage can you can access(though it’s not refrigerated) — this is also where the soy sauce and extra teriyaki is kept. Food comes out hot and fast every time. Some of my favorites: The spicy chicken — not super spicy but tasty none the less Teriyaki chicken — not super sweet and sticky which I appreciate, the flavor was actually really good Gyoza — yum, yum, yum! I mean, it’s hard to mess up gyoza but these come out hot and tasty every time. Tempura — hit or miss, you get an assortment of vegetables and one prawn(at least this is what you get with the chicken and tempura order). The prawn hadn’t been cleaned properly so it was gritty when I bit into it and still had the black line running up the back — yuck. The yam(at least that’s what I think it was) didn’t get cooked all the way and was too hard to eat. The other veggies however(zhucini, carrot, onion, broccoli, and green bean) were delicious! One tip — order your chicken with breast meat only — this can be an additional charge but it’s worth it. Also, don’t be a turd. Bus your table when you’re done eating.

This is mainly a take out place. If you want some quick teriyaki in redmond this is a great place to stop. Chicken is usually ready right away. The beef steak takes a while and sometimes has some sharp bits of books from how it was cut up. The pork or beef teriyaki are the definitely the best. Egg rolls are good too.

Not bad but not great. The chicken was cooked well and flavor of sauce good. I am not a fan of the super fried thick egg rolls. The chicken teriyaki came with white rice and a «salad»(just butter lettuce) with ranch on it. I had a great teriyaki place before we moved, so maybe I’m expecting to much.

It seems like there’s a teriyaki place in every single strip mall on the Eastside. This one is my favorite

We come here every Wednesday because my kids love it. The katsu, noodles, gyoza, and spicy teriyaki are our favorites. Tastes better here than anywhere else. We love it! Knock off a star for being in a strip mall.

Had a chance to stop out at Niko when trying to beat rush hour. I ended up get the beef and chicken teriyaki. Chicken and beef was pretty delicious I didn’t feel like I was eating left overs. Serving size is pretty decent for the price you pay. Enjoy!

Large portions of inoffensive(or only mildly offensive) food. The teriyaki is overly sweet, as it is almost everywhere. The gyoza are no better than frozen grocery store dumplings, but no worse. Katsu is hard to really screw up, and it’s fine, but not great, etc.

Very good food, excellent service. Have been going here for years and the food has always been delicious. Their portions are also very generous. I can usually manage two meals out of one takeout. Highly recommended!

Teriyaki is one of those things that is so simple and yet so easy to screw up, apparently. This restaurant only caught my attention because it’s right across the parking lot from QFC. Even in that area, there are better restaurants. I really do wish I could like this restaurant more, though. It would be so nice to have a good teriyaki joint in such a convenient location. My order of tempura with teriyaki pork($ 8.95) arrived in five minutes. I really don’t know how they are able to make all that in five minutes, although really a lot of it is simple. Since it’s a combination, it came with a salad and a scoop of white rice. Those hardly take any effort to make, but I appreciate that at least they’re there even if they are a generic addition to a teriyaki plate. The tempura is just fried vegetables to the point that they might as well be junk food. The pork teriyaki just had a funny taste to it. Something wasn’t quite right about it. This whole thing was just not really that good. It was cheap and quick, though. That at least has to count for something, right? And the place got surprisingly busy toward the end of my meal; I guess those people appreciate what I don’t.

The place stinks like crazy and it’s dirty — look at the kitchen curtain … I fear for my health after eating here. The teriyaki is dry and has a weird taste to it, the rice is mushy… If you gave 3 stars or more to this, have you ever tried acacia teriyaki ???

This is a review of dinner with my brother at Niko Teriyaki. First, I must say the guy working the front of the house was super friendly. He was also very effective. The ambiance is basic, plain, and functional. While the restaurant was not overly dirty, the floor could have used a general sweep and scrub. Alas, the food ranged from mediocre to poor. Chicken & Tempura Combo — The chicken was a little hard. The flavour was pretty much what I would expect from bottled teriyaki sauce. The tempura was almost inedible. There was a strong flavour of oil. The breading wasn’t quite done and didn’t adhere to the vegetables. The rice had a taste as if it had been sitting around for awhile. The salad was very basic, lettuce with a dab of dressing. The portion was large. Gyoza — We shared a ten piece order of gyozas. They were bland. Steak teriyaki — My brother had the steak teriyaki. The meat was overcooked. Overall — For me, I simply didn’t think the food was enjoyable enough to warrant a return visit. It was a bit quantity over quality.

$ 7 for chicken & gyoza for their lunch specials on certain days. I love how every day is something different, and they have a helpful website that tells you which days are which. I was a bit skeptical to try this teriyaki joint in Redmond, but this place is yummy for lunch. Very busy during lunch hours but they do have sauces on the side for you to eat as you please with as much hot sauce or teriyaki sauce as you please! Their portion size is huge, lots of rice and chicken and it is very tasty! Prices that are not specials are a bit pricey, but I’d expect it so in this neighborhood. Otherwise, great service and friendly people!
