Luv Macarons

I am truly baffled by the good reviews for this place. Perhaps I got a bad batch? I picked up six macarons at the Ballard farmer’s market this morning and they are *terrible*. I’ve had a lot of macarons — from Laduree in Paris to Lady Yum in Kirkland and lots of others in between. These had what appeared to be freezer burn all over them and they were hard. Like, I was able to knock one on my counter top and convince my husband there was someone at the door. They were so inedible that I can only imagine there was an unusual problem with the particular macarons I received because very few humans could eat these with a straight face. Seriously irritated that I wasted $ 10!

Cute little shop co-​located inside the Chic Boutique in the Country Village shopping complex. We paid $ 10 for a mix of 6 vegan/​traditional/​fancy macarons, which is totally reasonable. The flavors were very creative and the fancy macarons had beautiful or cute designs on them to really set them apart. Very, very tasty and so unique. They make a great little treat or even fun gift for someone with a sweet tooth!

This review is way overdue. We had Luv macaroons as our wedding favors a year ago, and we were really satisfied with the quality! The macaroons were so delicious and flavorful! We’ve relocated to the Bay Area for a year, but we still couldn’t find any places that offer such good macaroons as Luv Macarons did. Would definitely come back if we have a chance to revisit Redmond.

Just received this month’s subscription. .9 of the 12 were cracked and broken. Macarons tasted dry and gross.

My favorite macarons! These are delicious and beautiful and come in amazing flavors, including dairy free options. They deliver, too!

Found these amazing macarons at the Lake Forest Park farmer’s market. Ami is so generous, she gives the kids whole macarons as samples. They are gorgeous colors, so vibrant and beautiful and as yummy as they look. Our six year old is somewhat an afficianado, she’ll reject sub par macarons! And she said these were the best.

Luv Macarons are absolutely amazing tasting! My parents and I went to the Seattle Food and Wine show this February and had a sample of these macarons. We were blown away with how tasty these were. We made sure to buy three packs of the vanilla bean, salted caramel, and zesty lemon. Two days later, they’ve all been eaten. That’s why I wasn’t able to upload any pictures. I highly recommend these tasty treats!

A friend shared a promo code for 15% and I checked out the website. The macaroons looked beautiful! They have a diverse array of flavors (my favorite so far is zesty lemon with dark chocolate raspberry a close second). One of the more eclectic flavors is blueberry balsamic, which I’m eager to try.
I live in the Atlanta area so I had them shipped. They only ship on Monday and Tuesday because it would super blow to have your cookies sitting in a dang post office all weekend. I ordered them on a Wednesday and spent a week getting stoked. They arrived today (they were supposed to arrive yesterday, but there was some zip code confusion because my post office is a goober, luvmacs totally got my zip code correct) and a few of them were crumbling pretty severely, so one suggestion I have is that there could be a“fragile” stamp on the box so the box doesn’t get picked for the daily USPS Kickpackage games, which definitely is a thing.
Even though some of them were crumbling, which may have been because they didn’t an extra day having a slumber party on the island of lost packages, this did not compromise taste. I will definitely be buying from them again! These would make great gifts and something fun to put out at a small party. A+ snack!

Lluvlly Macarons are to die for! The flavor choices and combinations are so yummy and addictive. Ordering and shipping are super easy. They arrive looking just as good as they do in their pictures and taste even better! I know macarons are popping up everywhere in the Bay Area, but trust me, Lluvlly Macarons are totally worth the (short) wait!

Love Love Love this place… taste so good, hand made as well, definitely recommend these tasty treats.
