Wish I could give a higher review because the sandwiches are good but I can’t get over their delivery issues. They have SERIOUS delivery problems. I often order from work when I’m too busy to leave and somehow I usually end up waiting 40 minutes for a sandwich from a location that is 7 minutes away. In addition to this I have noticed that some of their drivers come stoned out of their minds. One of my drivers was so high he could hardly keep his eyes open… how are these people allowed to be delivery drivers?! And why are none of the managers doing anything about it?

Fast, fresh and yummy! Highly recommend! My favorite is the turkey and the avocado… The Beach Club! Can’t resist getting a pickle too! So much better than a subway sandwich!!! Highly recommend give them a try!

Ordered this because we were simply too lazy to leave the house or cook dinner tonight. After we gave them our order they said it would be about 20 min before we’d get our food as they only had one delivery driver. Not exactly their«freaky fast» delivery but completely understandable. Things happen. 45 min later our sandwiches finally got here. Our drinks were watered down since 90% of the ice in them had melted by the time we actually got our hands on them. It was an okay sandwich but a little disappointed in the time it took for the food to come.

Having recently moved from San Diego I was interested in trying chains that they don’t have there(there are many chains from there that they don’t have here too but I digress). Having been here three months and not trying this place I decided it was past due and headed in as it was in the same strip mall I was already in. I didn’t really have a good chance to read the menu before getting pounced on by not one but two members of staff. I went for the«big John“which is an 8 inch sub with medium rare roast beef, lettuce and tomatoes. I was not asked if I wanted any additional toppings just whether I wanted anything else and despite trying to have a conversation I got nowhere! One of the members of staff even said«I am not a very good conversationalist». So why exactly is he working with the public. The sub, well it was ok. The bread was a bit dull a had I had a chance to look at the other toppings I would have asked for pickles, green peppers and onions but literally I was pounced on and felt pressured to pick something quick. In terms of flavor it was ok. I would still rate it below Big Mikes and Subway and subway only makes the list in my mind because of the choice of breads and the fact you get time to choose your fillings. One bonus of Jimmy Johns is that they deliver in a two mile radius. Perhaps I just had a bad experience with this store? I will try another soon and see.

I agree with other reviews that these sandwiches are on par with Subway. It’s a simple sandwich shop, nothing more, nothing less. Lettuce took up the majority of the sandwich, and I didn’t get the mustard packets I ordered. Not a huge deal, but it’s the little things! There’s not much else to say. You can order online, which is a plus.

I want to give Jimmy John’s a good review… but I can’t. They’re an interesting sandwich shop, but not really any better than Subway or the nearby Chipotle. Jimmy John’s has done a good job of feeding me, but they’re not perfect. Let’s start with the positives. First of all, they supposedly open at 10:30, but they have no problem serving me even before 10:00. They told me that they’ll serve customers whenever the bread is ready, and they don’t complain about me inconveniencing their work day. They also work fast! There’s never been much of a wait for me, although there are seldom any other customers in the store while I’m there. Most notably, their food is very filling and delicious if you order the Gargantuan. Yum! The sandwiches are also a bit more expensive than I remember them being a while ago. $ 8.75 for a Gargantuan equates to $ 9.58 after tax, which is somewhat hefty. The biggest problem is that their sandwiches are too greasy! It’s so bad that two of the sandwiches I ordered have been shiny, and I watched as the oil fell drop by drop from the sandwich after I removed the wrapper and held the sandwich vertically. Thanks Jimmy John’s, but I don’t need the extra pounds. I’ll eat at McDonald’s if I want that. Finally, they don’t have a tip jar. A bit unusual for this type of restaurant.

The sandwiches are okay but they’re all COLD. I don’t really think I should pay $ 7 for a cold sandwich alone. I want my meat warm and my cheese melted. Of course its«freaky fast» I mean they just open the bread and put the meat in it and it’s done. WHY U NOTOASTIT???

Obviously super fast but also super acurate and nice too. This is our go to place at work and they have never lettuce down(get it?)

This is a solid sandwich spot. I like the beach club(turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado) on whole wheat bread which is normally super soft and delicious. Last time the bread was a little on the stale side, but the sandwich was still pretty good. My sandwich was literally ready for me in the time it took for me to give the cashier some money and walk to the end of the counter. I think they have some kind of time machine back there.

This was your typical sandwich shop. One thing about them though was that they were FAST. The sandwich was practically ready in the time it took me to pay for it.(Okay that was an exaggeration but only by about 60 seconds). The place was clean and the staff friendly despite the break neck speed by which they worked. My only beef was that the serving of meat on the sandwich was rather skimpy. Next time I’ll order double meat. The topings were fresh and tasty as was the bread so while I didn’t get as much meat as I’d like — I did have a very tasty sandwich. Bottom line — I will go back.

No wonder they are so fast they don’t deliver outside of a two block radius.

This is a review of lunch with my brother at Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches in Redmond, WA. The staff had a very casual and nonchalant attitude. However, they were polite enough and they were very effective. We placed our order. Basically before we could even turn around, they had lived up to the«Freaky Fast» slogan. I do not know if the sandwiches were made to order or not. But, I do know it was fast. For the drinks, they provide you with the cup and there is a standard soda dispenser with a number of options. I went for Cherry Coke. The ambiance is that of a basic sandwich shop. There was quite a bit of seating. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The sandwiches were good. They were neatly wrapped and they held together well. These are basic sandwiches. The sandwiches were neatly wrapped and clearly marked. #2 Big John(8 inch — Roast beef, lettuce, tomato & mayo) This sandwich isn’t anything I would rave about but it was good enough. I liked the bread. It was soft and had just enough of a yeast flavour to make it reminiscent of homemade bread. The roast beef was meaty. They did not smother the sandwich in mayo. The sandwich was relatively neat and it held together all the way to the last bite. My one complaint is that the bread was cold. It was as if the bread had been refrigerated. This made it seem a bit more like a pre-prepared sandwich. #3 Totally Tuna(Tuna, cucumber, lettuce & tomato) — This was my brother’s selection. He game it a measured two thumbs up. They have a wide selection of chips that carry their own name. These were pretty good. They had a nice strong potato flavour and were very crispy. Their prices are reasonable. For two 8 in subs, two bags of chips, one large and one medium fountain drink, the cost was $ 17.03. Overall, for me, this is the kind of sandwich shop I would hit up if I am out shopping or running errands and it happens to be near by. It is a good affordable lunch and it makes for a very quick meal. Jimmy John’s is not the kind of place I would go out of my way for.

Food would have been 4.5 stars, but it was way too loud and the girl that was just getting to work when we arrived had some serious issues. We pulled up she was walking toward the door and the whole time was just glaring at us and giving my girls and I the worst look ever. She was loud in the kitchen and making obnoxious comments to the people she was working with. It was Annoying and very unprofessional. Also, along with the loud music the tables were dirty we had one table to choose from that was clean. This was 4pm on a Sunday. Seriously take your insecurities and bad manners somewhere else. This is where you work. I don’t know if I would go back to this location. She ruined the experience with her immaturity. Front cashier guy was awesome. Said hello and goodbye when we left.

Someone please tell me why they are BLASTING the final countdown, to a point where it is obnoxious, doesnt make any sense. The unpleasant workers have their weird friends hanging out, no one was friendly or smiled. Weird experience here, we won’t be back.

Yah, this place is … fine. It’s not super exciting, but its decent. The ham sandwich is about as basic as it gets. I asked for pickles on it, didn’t realize that what it says on the menu is exactly what you get. What I ended up with was a separately wrapped whole pickle. That was fine i guess, except I had to pay an extra 1.50 for it, which on top of the sandwich and tax ended up being about 8 and a half bucks. That’s alot for a not particularly impressive sandwich. They do have a decent amount of meat on the sandwich, that is it’s saving grace. I have had JImmy Johns once or twice before, it’s fine, I can’t say I would choose it again, but if its the option I got, I guess I’ll live.

Would like to tell you about their subs. But. .. when my wife and I stopped by their shop to try out the food, the music(while some great songs) was more than loud. It was blasting. Not one customer was in the Redmond sub shop at dinner time on a Monday night. We told the staff the music was too loud. Bunch of teenagers who did not care in the least. Just shruggered their shoulders and gave that dumb look. We walked out. I had a headache for about two hours after hearing that blasting music. No thanks. Management needs to be advised. BTW — thought their menu was a bit limited for beings a sub and sandwich shop. Nothing original. Maybe it was a bad night?

Our company orders once a month from these guys and although they are always fresh it would be nice to enjoy a sandwich on something other than plain ol’ french bread. The bread is great, but still. When ordering I have worked with a few different ‘managers’. They seems to either rotate stores or simply move on to something bigger and better in a few months time. I have spoken to Angelica a few times now and her not to helpful attitude reminds me of that sassy little girl with the same name that as a kid I would see on Rug Rats. She eventually does what I have requested(fax receipts, change order etc) but not without the ‘tude. Overall it’s a decent place to eat but we only order from this place because we are running out of sandwich options.

I’m in love with the veggie sandwich and pickle! Ordered take-out and the food was fast, fresh and delicious! Wish they delivered to where I work but since I drove instead of vanpooling I was able to make it over there — yay. Located by the Redmond Whole Foods, in the same parking lot as InSpa and All the Best Pet Care. Parking lot was fairly full but still found a spot. Will be back next time I drive myself to work!

Best subs IMO… this place is blocks where I work but I am still lazy or busy so I still have them deliver it to me. Only 25 cent per item. why not. lol I love JJ’s sub because it has more MEAT then subway and the dill pickle is pretty good. FYI: If you come when they close, you can actually buy just the bread for pretty cheap to bring home.

In exploring new lunchtime territory for when working on the Eastside, I checked out Jimmy John’s in Whole Food Plaza. Let’s cut to the chase. It’s Subway sandwiches sold at a premium price. The counter help are faux-friendly, cheerily greeting and saying good bye to customers. Well, I shouldn’t say the employees are fake, but it sure seemed contrived. Quite a few cold(but no hot) sandwiches to pick from. I went with the«Billy Club»(beef, ham, provolone cheese, tomato and mustard). At the counter, sandwich upgrades were being aggressively recommended. I allowed the little hottie manning the cash register to have them add bacon to my sandwich, but I resisted the suggestion of peppers. He said he «liked my style.» Including a soda, my order rang up to $ 9.90. The sandwich was so-so, with a surprisingly tough and not particularly pleasant bread crust. The mustard(or whatever the spread was exactly) was salty.
