Gyro World

The people, food, and location are overall great! They offer a bit of everything. I usually make things complicated and combine dishes, and they had no problem doing it for me. They’re very friendly and usually have a few jokes lol. I will definitely come back with friends and family

Chicken Gyro was great! My only reserve was that it is a bit overpriced. A gyro with fries and a drink is around $ 10. You can get more bang for your buck elsewhere, as I have, but the gyro was delicious nonetheless.

Food was just ok I had never eaten this type of food before, coworkers and I wanted to try, the guy on the phone was so rude I did not want to spend my money their. After I got off the phone I did not even know what I ordered. And it was after the lunch rush it was about 2pm. We work in downtown Redmond it will never go back.

Me and My HUSBAND are regular to this place, most of the time the food is good, noticed that lately did not look like always, but will go back again to make sure it is still great.

Worst gyro place I’ve been to. The lamb was shredded and had a weird taste to it. They forgot to put feta on after I paid extra for it and didn’t even apologize when I brought it back. Almost no sauce and they charged for more. Chicken shawarma had no flavor. Didn’t even eat the gyro. Will NOT be coming back.

Good, fresh taste and flavor. Friendly service. Microwaved pitas. The lamb was good, need to try the gyro.

Used to be good. For some reason it’s gone downhill in the last 2 months. Not sure what happened?

Been a regular for years and loved it. Something happened in the last few months. Quality went down. Cleanliness was really sketchy the last time we went. Cannot recommend.

Visited again twice after about a year and still yummier than ever. I LOVE the Greek fries. I usually come here for the Kebabs, I can honestly say I don’t really eat Gyros as I’ve always been more of a Kebab with Pita and Tzatziki fan. My food is always fast, fresh and full of flavor. Excellent hummus, delicious Greek salad! The workers are super friendly too! Can I kidnap this restaurant and bring it back to California with me? Pretty please?

There was absolutely nothing fresh about my gyro. The meat was dry and hard like that pita was wrapped around it and just thrown in the microwave. the lettuce was half wilted and the tomatoes were as if they were cut up a few days ago. the fries are actually kind of tasty only thing saving this from a one star review.
Someday I will learn my lesson at lunchtime if there is little to no people in a restaurant it is a place to be avoided.

Totally mediocre, microwaved pita bread kind of spoils the bite of the shwarma. If you’re hungry go for it. Convenient for the Office Space crowd!

I have only been coming here for the past two years — but I do eat here once a week. The food is so doggone good. Gyros are perfect. Big salads. Good combos. Very reasonable prices. The only miss for me is the stuff in the desert case. Baklava is not good, and the cake things need to be skipped as well. It is clean and well run. It gets very busy at peak lunch time.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now and the food is actually quite good. I went there today and had really bad service. The woman working the counter did not smile at all and seemed quite irritated to work there when taking my order. I asked her about my rewards card and she rolled her eyes because she was on the phone talking to someone for a personal call. In a world full of other places I can go to get Greek food I would think this small mom and pop restaurant would have a little better customer service and make us feel good for spending our hard earned cash at their place. Instead I got attitude which I def did not order off the menu.
If you want good food with attitude then give this place a try. Maybe order for take out and you may not get the attitude at all.

Third time is a charm. Three times and all great experiences. Last night I had the Lamb Kebab Plate. Having just finished a 5 mile hike, I was starving. I couldn’t finish it all. Breakdown by item. Lamb kebabs tender and perfectly grilled (well-​done, not overdone). Hummus was light fluffy tangy & garlicky as it should be. Salad had crisp fresh lettuce, cucumber onions and ripe tomatoes. Flatbread was warmed. Rice was fluffy.
The counter person remembered our orders without prompting when he brought them out to us.
At the table behind us, a family asked questions about the food because they were unfamiliar with Mediterranean and they were enjoying the meal. The manager came to the table and explained what they were eating and how it was prepared, right down to the bread that was served with each dish.
Last two times I had the falafel plate. It was delicious as well. I’ll be back.

I have been going to this place since they opened. Recently, the service and the quality of their Gyros have gone downhill. The last Gyro I ordered was cold and the pita seemed stale. Its a shame because they used to be good. I think the owner has left the staff to their own demise. I wouldn’t recommend anymore.

Great gyro… but service was horrible! I ordered the traditional gyro and was very impressed with the fresh ingredients, delicious shaved meat, and yummy tzatziki sauce. The awful attitude of the staff was completely underwhelming however– very rude and not a single smile to greet customers. 4 stars for the food, 1 star for service.

I have been coming once a week after work to order the traditional Gyro and I really like it. I am giving 3 stars for no complaints with the food. It tastes great, it’s A-​OK lol. I am just a little put off because last time I came in and the guy behind the counter was really sweaty and wiping his face with his hands. He handed me my receipt and it was a little wet ;-_​-​. I don’t know if I can stomach coming back because of that, so minus 2 stars for that. I think I will just go to their other location in Kirkland.

Bummed. They had no idea if they had anything gluten free or soy free. Had to walk out without even trying the food. :(

Great great great Gyro! Sauce was delicious and the Fries were PERFECT. Jumped in here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Great meal for $ 10. Food tasted so fresh and literally made my day.
Not so happy that this place is across the street from my gym. That could be trouble!

Well, it’s a food chain, so you can expect the same taste/​food you’ve had at different Gyro World.
Food here used to be better.
Service is really bad.
Too bad, cause I used to love this place.
