One word: SPAMMERS!
They are the lowest of low when it comes to «recruiting» firms. NEVER hire them for ANY reason. You do, you are helping the evilness that this «company» stands for. Their fauxcruiters CANNOT READ ENGLISH. I mean. This *is* America, English IS the primary language here. Therefore when a candidate clearly specifies a certain geographic locale on an online resume posting, any logical person would simply avoid contacting that candidate for positions not within that geographic location. Since Collabera «recruiters» constantly — and after numerous requests to NEVER BE CONTACTED AGAIN by their COMPANY — continuously bombard my inbox with SPAM (aka, unrequested, unauthorized, and unwanted electronic emails), one must assume that no one at this company understands simple English.
Apparently they pay their «recruiters» PER EMAIL SENT, since there is no other logical explanation for their shoddy practices. And, if you ever try to tell their «recruiters» that you had already told them — in your job board posting — that you didn’t want to hear from anyone if the position isn’t in the city you listed, they WILL GET ANGRY with you.
Avoid them as if just seeing an email from them will burn your eyes out and give you syphilis, gonorrhea, and The Plague.
They can’t go out of business soon enough!

I posted my resume on Monster, CareerBuilder, and Dice. Wow, did I get spammed by recruiters looking for SDET contractors! Sometimes multiple recruiters from Collabera called about the *same job*. In other words, they were competing with themselves.
At the risk of sounding insensitive, I’ve got to point out that communication was often «difficult» because many of the recruiters could barely speak English. I found this to be *extremely* frustrating.
Ultimately, I was placed @ Microsoft through Insight Global.
