Orange Plaza Dentistry

First, I gave a 5 star considering my insurance plan, Medical.
I previously had private insurance so I was accustom to a slightly more polished service. The building itself isn’t much too look at, but the Dentist was extremely professional and trustworthy. Again, considering my current insurance plan, I would definitely recommend this dentistry.

My first experience there was pretty amazing. I like this type of office. Small, warm, and not trying to sell me a bunch of things at once. Kindly dentist, seemed to be compassionate about my health issues. I need a specialist, which I thought I might, and two crowns. Last dentist scared me away with a 6000 estimate, after insurance. Kathy at the front office, is very nice and friendly, and knowledgeable about my insurance. She speaks Spanish, too. I’m pretty laid back and patient, and I can handle an average wait. I waited about 20 minutes from the time I finished paperwork. This is the best dental office I’ve seen in a long time.

So aggravated at this office. I have MediCal and apparently that means only the bottom of the barrel dentists. I made an appt here because it’s close and clean. After THEY rescheduled last minute (the morning of my appt) I rearranged my schedule — including canceling another appt — to adapt because I realize stuff happens and I really want to be seen before vacation! I get there early as requested and they’re not even back from lunch! After waiting 15 minutes for them to open (remember they told me to be early!) I go sign in and get my paperwork.
As I’m filling it out 2 more people come in, the first being a lady they obviously knew who said her appt is at 3.30 and she has another thing at 4:30, yada yada… Fine whatever. But 10 minutes later they call her back, and then the other guy… Awhile later another guy comes in and HE goes back! I’m STILL waiting almost 2 hours later and no one has said boo to me. I went up to tell them forget it and they’re like «we’re waiting on the X-​ray room» WTH?! First if all if there was an issue– let me know. I have other obligations too! Please do not just leave clients hanging without a word!!! This place was incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional.

This is your average dentist office.
Place is clean and not a lot of seating.
Also, I bring my daughter here too and the staff here are really good with children.
I like coming here because it’s located in a nice part of Redlands, it’s located in a little shopping center.
