Been here twice and really don’t like this place. They rushed me and did a sloppy job. Worst $ 45 I’ve ever spent. I will add pictures.

Josephine Nails is by far my favorite place to go to! The location for one is perfect, and their pricing is so good. They do an AMAZING job for such a good price. They’re always very nice, I went in yesterday at 4:30 and needed to be out by 5:30 and they made it happen even when I got a full acrylic set and pedicure. They worked fast, but still paid attention to detail to make sure my nails still looked great. I appreciated that so much because they didn’t seem frustrated or upset at all. They converse with you and are super nice. I would definitely recommend trying this place out :)

Walk-​ins are welcome, however they only have 2 technicians working and will ask walk-​ins to wait for hours. It should either be appointment only or they need to get some more technicians in there. Prices are good but the availability is bad.

Checked out this place for the first time today. Nothing fancy but the ladies were really nice. I was a little disappointed to find out my lady was sick and I wasn’t told until I walked through the door but it was totally understandable considering they did not have my number and they were very willing to have someone work on me right away. Only had to wait 10 minutes. My finger nails are stubs so I came in for a gel mani to get my nails to grow back out and of course look cute! Tai (I’m not sure if that’s how you spell her name) did a great job at giving her best shot considering the design I wanted was meant for those with longer nails. I definitely think it’s worth coming back. The QUALITY of their work is all that matters, not the typical fancy environment you would expect to walk into, so keep that in mind!

This is my new nail spot! Very friendly staff and Thai does an amazing job with manicures/​pedicures and designs. She has a great eye, and can replicate anything. Right in the heart of downtown Redlands.

My nails were all tore up and I needed to get them done asap. I called and was able to schedule an appointment same day, but I recommend calling a couple days in advance because I got lucky. Vivian did an acrylic full set on me with an oval shape and full nail polish. She did an excellent job and turned my nails into beauties! The price was cheap but the quality was high. I definitely recommend em and I will of course be coming back! Thank you

Very friendly nail shop. Everyone talks to you! Vivian and her family are great. I always leave happy with my results. Ask Vivian about her new colors she mixed. If you want something different also ask for her.

My tech, Vivian, was friendly, but I wasn’t happy with the result. My gel polish started peeling up around the edges a week after I got them done. I’ve gotten gel manicures many times before and even after 2 – 3 weeks have only had to get them redone bc they grew out. Not sure if it was the quality of the polish or the technique, but either way, not good. Spend a few more dollars for better quality!

Vivian is the best! She always gets my nails perfect, I have been coming here for four years and haven’t ever wanted to go anywhere else. I love how friendly she is and how comfortable She makes me feel during my visits. Vi Is very professional and she listens to everything you say, she will make your nails look exactly how you like them. I’m really happy with the service and the staff is very friendly. No better place in Redlands!

I do not recommend Vivian. She may do excellent work at first but once you are a regular she is rude, and will rush through your appointment so the next client can be seen. I was a long time customer, but became disappointed by the lack of professiobal conduct and quality that I received last few times and will not be returning.

I saw Vivian today and she gave me a fantastic gel manicure. I was very impressed with the care that she took in shaping and prepping my nails for the gel polishes. I will definitely be back and am very happy to have found such a great manicurist! Additionally, Vivian and another manicurist, whose name I didn’t get, were very accommodating and friendly. They even changed work stations so that my best friend and I could sit together and talk during our gel manicures. Highly recommend.

Vivians family owns the shop and they are the most kind and personable people! definitely coming here for now on to get my Gel Manis ^_​_​^

My first and second time here was great. My third time here was horrible. Got gel mani, it chipped right away the same day. The girl only put one coat of the colored polish and kept telling me to take my hand out of the uv light before it was done. which probably what causes the chipping. And also the polish was out of line on a few of my nails. Definitely not coming back.

I’ve gotten a pedicure here, and that was great. The place is clean, albeit boring looking (white walls white floors). I only came here because it is close to my university.
I gave it three stars because I went in for a gel mani today and the woman who gave it to me used dirty tools, left my hand burning in the UV light, forgot to add an extra coat of color on two nails, nicked my cuticle, and left me with uneven gel polish. She seemed very nice, but didn’t understand anything I was saying and had to have another manicurist translate. (Which I don’t mind of course, it was just another slight inconvenience I thought I should add.)
It has been three hours since the mani and one nail is bare. I bumped it on something and the polish that was attached to my skin (multiple nails had this) lifted and peeled. Upon further inspection each nail was lifting and I could easily peel off all of the polish. 23 $ wasted. Never going back.

If you want a fast and cheap mani/​pedi. Go here. But if you want it to last go somewhere else and spend the money. They are nice enough but the place isn’t that clean and I’m pretty sure the State Board could have a field day with them when it comes to sanitizing.

I have been coming to Josephine Nails for at least 10 years and love it! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The only time I strayed and tried another salon I came RIGHT back to Josephine. I highly recommend you give them a try!

This was the second time I went to them for a gel polish. Not only is it reasonably priced ($ 12 for the color, $ 16 if they have to take off old polish) but they are very nice and engaging in conversation with you. It’s nothing fancy, but it is clean and functional. I also had this dry cough that was heavily triggered from the acetone when they were soaking my nails. I was so embarrassed because I couldn’t stop coughing, to the point I had to step out. They reassured me that I was fine, offered me cough drops, water and even a product suggestion that worked like a charm when I purchased it after my appt. I was okay with them hurrying up my visit because I couldn’t stop coughing and the result of their work was still very good. I’ll continue to come back for the prices, quality of a work, and most importantly their customer service.

Haven’t been here in a while. So I went on Unilocal to see if they were still open & they were. I also had a chance to see pictures of the work they do, I saw some really nice pics & I was even able to get an idea of what I wanted. I chose a 3-​d nail design by Vivian, she has many designs to chose from. I was lucky that she was there when I showed up. She is very nice and professions she takes time on what she is doing. Got our nails done Thursday night. Liked the girls. They didn’t offer chance to upgrade any services and took 30 minutes for both pedicure and gel nails. Way to quick and not relaxing at all. On vacation and nails chipped and peeled last night. All we did yesterday was ride in car. Really 1 day for gels?!? Super disappointed in quality of work. Quick and cheap guess get what you pay for. Don’t think me or my friend will go back. Hers are peeling too.

Wonderfully suprised! I came into this place to get my first fill on a set of gel nails I got 2.5 weeks ago. The wait was a little long as there were only two women working.
Tiffany did my fill, she was really nice and pleasant. She worked quickly and I was actually quite suprised at how much better she made my nails look! She gave them a much better shape, made them the perfect length and did a great job with the gel fill. This will be the only place I go to from now on.
This place isn’t all about ambiance, being in the heart of downtown Redlands you’d expect it to, but that’s ok, I’m there to get my nails taken care of and they do that 100%
