Quite tasty. Decided on this place on the fly. Quickly seated and served. Food was good. No chopsticks which I think is strange. Pricier than I am used to for Thai food.

Best thai food in the area! The prices are a bit expensive but worth it. The drunken noodles are the best, their chicken rice soup is really good as well! Must try if in the area!

This place is expensive but I enjoyed their food and my experience. The restaurant does have a somewhat fancy vibe to it but you definitely can dine here in casual attire. My favorite dish is their panang curry with Chicken. Another dish I’d recommend is their Pad See Ew.

New Year’s Day, not many places open but this was. Sat at the bar as we didn’t want to wait for 20 min. Service was good. Double IPA from the local brewery had zero hoppiness:(. Get a tasting before you get a glass. Summer rolls were great. Choose it over Spring rolls. Veg delight was tasty and the the Red curry with Tofu was delicious. Glad we had some left to take home. I have begun to crave for this Curry. Would go again.

I’ve visited Benjarong a few times over the years and the food has usually always been great. I don’t know if it’s worth the price, but it has always been tasty. The ambiance is stylish and pretty as well. But every time I have decided to eat at Benjarong, the wait time has always been an issue. Today was no different and frankly, this time around, I was fed up. We were seated quickly and given menus(as per usual) and the wife and I made our lunch decision relatively quickly. And then we waited. And waited. Eight minutes had passed(we got there at 12:15 and I looked at my phone and it was 12:23…I’m not that great at math but I figured this one out easily) and out of curiosity I turned on the stopwatch on my phone. My wife recoiled at me doing this but I wanted to see how much longer until the server came to even get our drink orders. And by «the server», I mean the ONLY server out on the floor… during lunch… at a somewhat popular Thai place… Exactly 4 minutes and 21 seconds later our server made it around to us for our drink orders. After he left, we looked around at the other tables where customers were seated. Only a few tables had meals, the rest were barren and those same tables were occupied by people when we walked in. My wife, who minutes ago was chiding me on complaining about the wait looked at me and said, «Let’s go.» To which I replied, «No argument here.» I normally only write reviews after I’ve been to a place a few times and experienced the atmosphere, customer service, food, drinks, etc… I look for consistency; if it’s just a «one-off» experience or if whatever the issue is, is a normal occurrence. The normal occurrence at Benjarong is the waiting game. It always has been and apparently always will be. I may come back in the future but for now, Redlands has plenty of better Thai places to choose from so that’s where we will be taking our business.

We went there for the first time about 3 weeks ago. The restaurant looks high end but the food leaves to be desired. My curry was thick. The rice that came with it was hard and dry, the kind of rice on the top of a cooker. It was very hard to swallow. My tom yum soup was not good. The ingredients were likely added onto the broth before it was served because they didn’t taste like the soup but like the cans they came in(baby corn and mushroom). Not a place I would like to return.

Taste-wise mostly everything we tried was pretty good. However, a big downer was that all the dishes with beef and/or chicken were extreeemely dry. Like it dried out my mouth-dry. :/ Coconut shrimp appetizer was good. Drunken noodles were flavorful. Fried rice and masan-man curry was okay.

We ordered the House special rice, pad see ew, tom yum, and drunken noodles. Each dish was very good and well portioned for the price. The Thai ice tea and Thai iced coffee was the bomb. They missed the last star because the beef and chicken was too hard to chew. The noodles and rice were on point though. Overall would come here again.

Got the pad se ew with chicken. Yummy! Great value for the amount. It was enough to be my lunch and dinner. Staff was friendly and quick. My husband had the charbroiled chicken lunch and it too was delicious.

I really love this place! My bf and I bumped into this place on accident and it was one of the first places we went on a date. On a side note, I do recommend this place for date night since it is quiet and not too busy. On either Fridays or Saturdays, I forget which day, there is usually a live band out on the patio area, which you can listen to while eating. It’s relaxing and provides a good place to just enjoy dinner and chat. We usually get the pad thai, red curry, and pad see ew. All three of the dishes are amazing and we believe is the best in Redlands. The bf loves the noodles on the pad thai and they might be hand made since it’s so delicious every time we eat it. The red curry isn’t too thick or watered down and it comes with a side of rice. We’ve become regulars to this restaurant and will continue coming here since it’s not too busy on Fridays and Saturdays and the wait times are very reasonable.

My wife and I have been coming here since around 2010. We used to go maybe once a month, but this place has become a staple for us; we visit almost weekly. We have had the red and yellow curries, as well as the pad see ew and pad kee mao(drunken noodles). Everything there is good. The service is top-notch, and the wait times are usually not bad at all. This is the best Thai food in the Inland Empire, for sure.

I loved how clean this restaurant is but the service was lacking. My sister and I stopped by for lunch and were seated right away along with another party of 2, but we were not greeted by our server until 5+ minutes later. The party next to us had already gotten their drinks. We literally sat there and just stared at all the servers walking past us, and I was about to get up and leave but our server finally came by. They have a good selection of lunch specials, but I’m not used to paying over $ 10. Prices here are a bit higher than other restaurants. We quickly ordered 2 waters and 2 lunch specials, I think I got the bbq chicken and my sister ordered a curry. Food was decent, my chicken was a bit dry but the sauce(on the side) was good. My sister said her curry was good and she was happy with it, but I thought it was too creamy for my taste. Restaurant is clean, with a nice view and patio. Food presentation looks good, and they have a bar but overall its decent food with a slightly higher than normal price tag & not so great service.

I’ve frequent this gem of a restaurant a few times in the past year and the food is amazing. It’s a family own and operated restaurant. The food is so good and made to perfection. Portions are large and made for family style dining. The décor is beautiful and there is a full bar. Staff are friendly and professional. I love the Mango sticky rice and fried banana.

We went to Benjarong on a Sunday evening and waited about ten minutes for a table. It appears to be very popular. The setting is nice and casually elegant with an open feel and lots of outdoor seating. It’s a great setting for large groups, and we saw a few. Our server was pleasant and very helpful regarding gluten-free dishes. Unfortunately, we found the food very bland when compared with the same dishes at other Thai restaurants.

I have gone to all the top 5 Unilocal Thai Restaurants in the Redlands, Yucaipa area and this place is probably the top in service, food, and atmosphere. I like this place because they got plenty of tables, and the service is on the money. I ordered a fish dish, tum yum(beef), and a something beef. Their special benjarong sauce dish. Benjarong Sauce Beef dish, which I forgot the name to, is the first dish on the menu. This can be made«thai spicy» by replacing the bell peppers with serrano chili if you like spicy this is MONEY. Great suggestion by the server. Loved it. Fish dish was good too. I just messed up on the Tum Yum because I got it beef for some reason. F’ed up. Gotta always go Tum Yum KOONG! Anyways everything was pretty excellent, great big TV to watch golf on too. Will return

Positives: –Food was good –fairly nice atmosphere Negatives: –food took a really long time to arrive(at least an hour) –it was actually a little warm, if not hot in the restaurant Went here for a dinner for a residency interview. We had about 20 people, so it was nice that they were able to accommodate all of us. Customer service was fine, nothing special. I’m not sure why, but the food took a really long time to arrive. Also, they sort of delivered it at odd times(not all at once), so it was a bit awkward to decide whether to begin eating or to wait until others had gotten their food. The food was pretty good. Nothing special, in my opinion. I had beef pad see ew. It wasn’t spicy at all, but I noticed that the restaurant seemed very warm. In fact, there was fog on the windows on the inside, and I was starting to sweat. I guess they just had the heat on too high, because outside was very cold. I have no idea what the bill was, because I didn’t pay. Bottom Line: This place was just okay. I probably wouldn’t go here again, not because it was bad but just because there’s nothing to draw me back. Also, I hope they don’t always take that long with the food. I’m thinking it was just because of our large group.
