Cottonwood, CA
River Tasalmi is the best kept secret in Redding! The course is absolutley BEAUTIFUL! They have a Full BAR and a restaurant. The staff is helpful and verry friendly. I would highly recommend this course to any one who loves golf.

The way they practice business here is terrible. The golfnow $ 5 deal was awesome. I will warn you right now, the deals are still posted online but they DO NOT honor them. A few months ago I bought my tee time online for $ 5 for 18 holes. When I got to the clubhouse I checked in like usual and said I had a golfnow tee time, I was rudely interrupted by the cashier saying «We don’t honor those so you can either pay full price or not play at all» in a very rude tone. I respectfully asked if they could let me play since I did not know that they didn’t honor the online times anymore, in reply all she said was «Nope.» They could use a few tips on how to run/​manage a business.
