RESTA Sleep Disorders Center

My wife was having sleep problems in mid September so we made an apt at Resta Sleep disorder center in Redding. After the initial consult with Dr Trevor, we scheduled for a sleep study that same evening and immediately paid the entire amount (about $ 800, yeah I know, ouch). They did let me stay in one of the unused rooms for they have extras for family members because some patients are obviously anxious.
We were instructed by staff and Dr Trevor the results of the sleep study would take about two weeks to be completed. We never heard from the clinic so instead my wife called a month later and scheduled an appt so WE could both go in and find out about the results (sleep apnea ?). The second appt was scheduled for mid November on a SUNDAY. REALLY?
The next thing we know is that the clinic got In contact with my wife and canceled the appt saying that the Dr could not make it– too busy. (TOO BUSY TAKING PEOPLES MONEY!!)
They rescheduled our appt for mid January. What upsets me is that they were not too busy to take our $ 800 in a second but feel that we should have to wait ¹⁄₃ of an entire year to get the results of a sleep study that they recommended my wife participate in.
I feel that I was a victim of (THEFT BY DECEPTION) because I have not received what I paid for in a timely manner. We went for possible health reasons to a (DOCTOR?) who was quick to take our money but who has failed to follow through with their part of the deal.
If this were the OLD WEST, I would take care of it myself as though they were cattle rustlers, but alas, that is not the case. BEWARE OF RESTA SLEEP DISORDER CLINIC ON WHISKEYTOWN CT AT THE TOP OF THE HILL !
