Ace Hardware Valley Ace

Not the cheapest or biggest selection, but you will always be greeted with a happy helpful person. If they don’t have what you need, they find a place that does. Good people, and good service.

We have several hardware stores near us, but this little store is always my first choice. What they lack in size they definitely make up for in quality. I’ve found several things there that I couldn’t find anywhere else in town. And how many time have you had a question or needed some help and had to go clear across the store to find an employee? That’s not a problem here. There’s always someone knowledgeable within reach. Visit here and it will be your new favorite too.

This is about sprinklers. Oscillators specifically. Ace carries one with a lifetime warranty and we all know how valuable that can be. And theirs comes with a built-​in timer! bought one last early summer and as was expected, after a few days, quit working correctly. Exchanged no problem. and this unit actually works very well when set for less than full range. 1^st one i’ve had that’ll do that. best sprinkler i’ ve ever owned. AND i love the store/​staff too. G. Went in the other day and the guy who checked me out really had no personality at all… was pretty unfriendly and it was impossible to find an employee to help me out.

I love my Ace on Hartnell Ave. they have always taken good care of me. I go in and ask stupid questions or I just bring in a part and I tell them, I need another one of these. They always have staff on hand that will help and know what they are talking about.
A word of caution, you may have to wait a bit to get that personalized attention but it is so worth it and so is worth the extra couple of bucks to avoid Lowe’s or Home Depot.
BTW, they have loaner tools — yes, they actually loan their customers tools to fix some of the routine things around the house that you just need that special tool for. Please be kind and return them! I have borrowed stuff from them before and it’s great. .. of course I buy the parts I need from them too, but not the tool to fix it!

Not much of a fan of Ace but the Hartnell store takes the cake someone is almost always available to help you and they dont make you feel stupid if you have questions like other Ace’s i have been to nice big store with a large selection.
