I love the pizza the the brewery; however, that’s a place to go with friends when you have time and want a long dinner. If I want a quick pizza, either pick-up or delivery, I definitely go with Savoys. I used to love Liberty’s pizza, but that has gone down hill in a big way! Savoys has better quality of ingredients, and all around better tasting pizza.

Have made 2 visits– both disasters. The first was during their first week and the restaurant was total chaos. Our house special pizza was overrun with olives. We made the poor choice to try again more recently, this time a carry out order only. The pizza was made wrong despite my husband having slowly repeated the order two times on the phone. So disappointing.

Been there twice, both times disappointed. Second time ordered spaghetti, it had so much pepper in the sauce it was literally uneatable. When I complained to the waitress, she acted like she could care less. When I told her I was not going to eat it, because it was not good, she said OK and gave me my bill… really?!

I’m vegan and was devastated when I arrived to Red Wing to discover the awesome co-op closed down as it was my plan for food. I asked tons of locals where I could grab a bite to eat but finding much outside of popcorn or chips was too much to ask and none of the restaurants that are local favorites served anything vegan. SO, when we stopped into Red Savoy to find out that not only is their crust vegan but they also carry vegan cheese(and have a mock chicken available) we were so happy! The pizza was delicious and the service was great! Quick, polite and very accommodating. It’s my understanding(based on a few other reviews) they opened recently and it had had some glitches getting started but our service was excellent. Also — I think it’s important to be supportive of the few joints left in Red Wing… it’s starting to look like a real ghost town. So please don’t base your opinion on the die hard Liberty fans that are smearing this place.

As a long time lover of the original Red’s Savoy Pizza in St Paul, I took the family to the new Red Wing, MN location yesterday 1−8−16 and was very pleasantly surprised! We ordered a house special without olives and it was just as fantastic and every bit authentic tasting as any pie I’ve ever got at the original in St Paul, the original ! We also tried the Hawaiian Pizza in Red Wing, this was also fantastic! We ordered a mushroom, pepperoni & sausage to take home for breakfast and that also was amazing this morning cold! The negative reviews on here must be competitors as I can assure you, I AMNOT affiliated other than I happened to love the original Savoy Pizza for a decade or more, since we first tried it. Try this place for yourself and you will see. The boneless BBQ wings are awesome too. Only complaint I could muster is the ridiculous $ 4.75 price for a bottle of Nordeast !! The young man who waited on us was a bit overwhelmed but did a great job and we sort of got the feeling he might be new to this line of work. Great job tho overall & we have to say we will definitely be back.

I waited for over an hour for a pizza. The first pizza was awful, I’ve had many pizzas from reds around the city. I was hung up on when I called to inquirie. About the order.

I gave them 2 chances to impress me… sadly they didn’t :(All I’ve heard is how amazing their pizza is and their sauce is out of this world??? I’m royally confused! The first time I ordered their chicken alfredo pizza and it was so burned I don’t think my dog would’ve eaten it! So just yesterday I decided to build my own & went w/chicken & mushroom w/the original sauce. Again, over-done(not as bad this time) and I got sausage instead of chicken & the sauce was soooo spicy I ended up scraping the cheese & mushrooms off! I had the worst gut ache all day! My co-workers agreed that they won’t be needing to waste their money at this place again! Too bad because we were really looking forward to another lunch option downtown!

Don’t. This place is terribly unorganized and truly not ready to be open. Just go to Liberty’s. It’s the same pizza and at Libertys – not my favorite place, and at Libertys they won’t: Have absolutely terrible service. Red’s Savoy made our pizza wrong, and then it took an eternity and many questions to get the right replacement one to the table. We finally had to get the replacements pizza to go because we were well finished with all other food when it finally did arrive. You won’t have to ask multiple times for napkins. At a pizza place. We asked for napkins multiple times before they actually brought three or four. Take SERIOUSLY twenty minutes to bring you the bill. We asked Red’s Savoy in Red Wing for the bill over and over and over. Wanted to really like this place. I will never ever be back and I know what to avoid if I see any other locations. This place has been open since mid-December. Unreal.
