the shape of the park is kind of cool, the way that the river goes around it, located right next to some boat houses and you can see the famous «barn bluff» from here. there is a trail that you could ride your bike or walk around and an area with some basic playground equipment for young kids. it has a great view at certain times of the year.

Great place to chill and read or sit and watch the boat and train action on the river. There are picnic pavilions and play areas for kids. It can be a base for a bike excursion of scenic Red Wing (if you bring your bike). People often fish off the rocky point. Eagles frequent the area. A soothing yet energizing place.
