Shore Chic

I’ve returned several times due to the wonderful selection, but each time no one behind the counter:
1. Looks up
2. Greets you
3. Smiles
The most unfriendly store ever! I’ll take my money down the street to Cabana 19 and Shutters.

I used Shore Chic for my wedding and they were fantastic. I ordered starfish escort cards, a sandbox to display them in, and 4 signs for my favors. From my first phone call to the last they were professional and organized. I worked primarily with Jon, via phone and email. At times when I spoke to the owner she was a bit abrupt on the phone, but was still professional and efficient. I didn’t think anyone was being manipulative or playing games with the price, though I did have to remind them to send me a final invoice before they charged my card.
I was on the late end of ordering and organizing this, and sent them the final guest list only 2 weeks before the wedding, but that wasn’t a problem for them at all. Everything had to be shipped to Key West, and arrived on time and in great condition. The starfish escort cards are definitely pricey compared to simpler escort card options, but I didn’t think Shore Chic was any more expensive than other similar options, and overall I was happy with my final costs. I received a lot of compliments on the starfish escort cards, they were absolutely beautiful. Overall I was very very happy with the product and the service.

My wife and I were recently married and decided to purchase several «detail» items at shore chic that included tent cards, an envelope box, message bottles, and programs. If you are interested in a beach/​shore theme event they have several items and customizable options worth considering.
The individuals responsible for creating the items are hardworking, responsive and do a very good job. However, the female owner plays games with prices and will take advantage of you and your timelines.
If you decide to do business with them when planning a wedding, please do yourself a favor and get all your quotes in writing and negotiate everything up front!

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment in Shore Chic. I had been in there on several occasions and had spread word about their great collection.
Two weeks ago I had my bridal shower, and received a GIFT from Shore Chic. I went to exchange the GIFT to the store this past weekend, and was told they do not accept returns unless a receipt is given. However, because this was a gift given to me, I do not have the receipt. The women behind the counter was very unfriendly in her tone, and did not want to provide ANY help or customer service to help me exchange the gift for something else in the store. She acknowledged that she remembered it being purchased but did not want to take the item back, knowing I was going to EXCHANGE it for a more expensive item in the store. She brought up in discussion another customer trying to return items that were months old, however I am not that customer, and you need to handle each case individually. Trying to exchange a GIFT less that 2 weeks after it was purchased should not be looked down upon.
I will be sure to tell all my local friends to be very wary of making any purchases from Shore Chic, as their customer service is anything but exemplary.
