This is a Dairy Queen that only sells Ice Cream and does not take credit cards. While there are lots of other Ice Cream stands in the area some times I just want a DQ. Next to Whole Foods so it does feel like rebellion when I go there. The portions are small and on costly side but not as expensive as Whole Foods. If there is a crowd there can be a wait and feels like the service is a little disorganize. Easy parking and a clean store. It is Ice Cream and how bad could it be?

The young lady working behind the counter was rather rude & clipped, as if she couldn’t be bothered to take our order. When we went to pay, she tersely informed us that they did not accept credit cards. Nowhere inside the store, or outside, was there any thing stating that they did not take credit cards. We were not pleased when we were sent next-door to get cash from Whole Foods. We will not be returning.

Yup. Its a DQ. It tastes like every other DQ. This one however doesn’t take credit cards. They do however take checks. That’s kinda weird. Who uses checks anymore? Oh, and my blizzard wasn’t inverted upon check out. That’s the only reason I went– to see a dairy based dessert flipped upside down for a split second.
