Cluck U Chicken

I have been going to Cluck U for years. The food is awesome and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Exceptional customer service was shown tonight by manager, George. A charge hit my account twice and when I brought it to George’s attention, he immediately corrected it and comped us. Love this place!

I don’t care what others have said before me but this place is the BOMB! Deal with it, their fried chicken surpasses all before or after Cluck-​U. Service here is always with a smile and served quickly.
If you really enjoy hot wings like myself and can handle heat thermonuclear is the way to go but if you want to keep it on the calmer side go for nuclear for less heat.

Cluck U Red Bank owns me. I have been obsessed with their wings for over a decade. I have never been disappointed with an order from here; it’s always fresh, delicious, and bountiful. I recommend them constantly and continue to make trips there despite moving out of the area. I saw other reviews of less than 5 stars, don’t bother reading them, they obviously don’t love wings and shouldn’t be trusted.

The crack bang piff of legendary chick that are amongst us. Cluck reigns supreme. Slow with the delivs a little. But it is the most insanely amazing unhealthy food there is. Eat it while you’re young

Got out of a show at the nearby Count Basie Theatre and we were absolutely starving. Saw the misleading siren lights of a Chipotle in a mini-​shopping plaza. The Chipotle is unfortunately still under construction, which left this establishment as the only nearby place which seemed open and serving relatively quick food-​type items (had a deadline for getting the train back to the city).
I admit that I’m probably not their target demographic (stoner students?), but I can only surmise that the name of this place is a pun on what you invariably wind up saying after consuming their food. The chicken fingers were of the dark, gelatinous texture that would make a Chicken McNugget proud. The fries weren’t terrible, but the fingers pretty much ruined my appetite for anything else there (or for the rest of the night, really). If you’re visiting Red Bank for the lovely Count Basie, do yourself a favor — eat before the show.

The food from this location is always good. Hot and fresh. The service is very friendly and prompt. I prefer it to the other Cluck u stores in the area.
The only downside here is delivery times can be a long wait, 45mins to an hour. So if you live nearby and are in reasonable condition to drive, you’re better off picking up your food. It’s usually ready in 10 – 15 mins for smaller orders. And once in awhile the order has mistakes so it’s best to double check it before leaving the store.
But consistently great food and friendly staff easily trump the negatives.

5 piece # 5, Atomic sauce, cheese fries and a Coke. Greatest combination ever created. There is also a big difference between this cluck-​u and others in the area.

They just brought my wings out to me! That’s crazy great service! I’ve never had that happen to me anywhere! Cook you chicken in Redbank New Jersey is the best place for dinner! Not just chicken but ribs, burgers salads whole-​wheat wraps and much more! You can even get a delicious fish sandwich! !

There’s nothing like being drunk in high school and getting a 1AM delivery of chicken. Nothing. I’ll hold those memories forever.
This chicken is the best around and all the sauces are homemade. Food is best when you eat in-​house as fries get soggy during delivery. Boneless wings are the best. There are a bunch of healthy options for certain people in your party, but you probably shouldn’t come to a fried chicken joint to eat healthy.
Delivery is typically pretty quick. We used to get delivery all the way to the far side of Middletown, which is really impressive considering the distance.
Dine in on off hours, since around dinnertime this place gets packed. There are about 5 tables which adds to the crowd. Been going here 10 years and quality has never fallen off — highly recommend.

I think this place is just unreal. Anything less than five stars and youre crazy! Would suggest eating in over take out just because food is nice and fresh. Sometimes can be a bit cold from delivery but still amazing regardless

Really good wings but not so clean! I mean I guess that’s to be expected with a college themed restaurant! Always go for the original, super good.

this place is greasy and gross. don’t go here unless you want to have a heart attack and get pimples.

My order is always ready fast and ahead of time. Delivery is speedy. There’s usually bonus boneless wings in my order, and the chicken is nice — never weird, gristly, fatty or over-​breaded. Cheese fries are da bomb. Cons: no celery, carrots or blue cheese dressing unless you order 10 wings of each hotness (or, presumably, ask for them and pay a separate charge). Kind of a sterile environment for eat-​in.

Traditional wings are the way to go, if you like a mild spicy hot wings.
They delivery very fast. Faster than most in the around not because they aren’t busy. Because they have many drivers.

Good food! However be careful about this particular location. I think they make up their own prices just to pull one over on customers. I have ordered here a few times and had to look over the menu prices every time they gave me a total. One time they were literally 10 bucks off then they tried to make up some mysterious charge which is not on any of their menus which once I asked for the manager then they magically made that charge disappear. The last time I ordered was the last straw. I ordered delivery and when I was the phone guy and again asked him about the pricing he had no excuse at all just a chuckle and an oops. Really? There are plenty of these in nj. I will definitely go to one of the others next time.

Love the wings. Usually get the Atomic sauce, has just enough kick to it. Wings are always meaty. I order from them about once a month although back in the day CluckU New Brunswick was at least a once a week habbit. I can’t give them 5 stars because they don’t give you celery or carrots with the wings (what is that all about?). 4 stars on quality meaty wings and a track record of success.

I still feel the heartburn making its way up my trachea. I used to eat here all the time when I worked for my friend’s record label in Red Bank. After days/​nights of careless binge drinking this place really hit the spot. Fantastic wings (All you can eat on Wed. now, used to be on Tues.) and great fried chicken and sides. They have these little fried biscuits that they cover with honey and what I think may be tears of happiness from an angel. The people who work there are even awesome. So yummy.

Tasty, Greasy and full of flavor.
The potato wedges with cheese are tasty and the chicken is to die for.
I make it a point to visit Cluck U whenever I am back home visiting from California.
The variety of sauces allows you to customize how hot or mild you want your chicken or fries to taste.
The food is fresh and full of flavor.
Top it off with a MINT Snapple and it’s the perfect lunch time meal.
Walk it off to marine park about 2 miles away and you have your exercise all in one day.
Who needs KFC when there is Cluck U?
