Seemed okay a couple of times. Then 2−14−16 we ordered from them. Denise ordered the usual Beef and Broccoli(she didn’t like it as much) and my choice was the Moo Shu Shrimp. It arrived and we dug in. Immediately after opening the tray of my Moo Shu, it looked like I was looking at a pile of mush. I took a fork and put the first bite in my mouth and started to chew. I noticed a very sour taste and had to spit it out in the garbage. I was forking through the mush and noticed you couldn’t tell what anything was as far as vegetables. I surmised that they had made up a bunch of the mixture and froze or refrigerated it while warm/hot. This would explain the sourness of the taste. It had gone bad. I must say that I had it before and it was great. I have no idea what has happened but I have visited a few places I trusted and all of them raised prices or lowered the food quality or both. I only discovered Chef Ramsay recently and I already knew about food so he confirmed what I have said about some places. It seems owners or chefs or owner/chefs are not testing their own food. It’s such a shame. They can’t take criticism. I am not afraid to give it though. I lost 28 bucks on this go around. I find it futile calling and complaining because I usually get the usual excuses. I would say order at your own risk at this point.

I am in pharmaceuticals and use Wok and Roll to cater lunches for me almost weekly. My offices love their fresh flavorful food. And, you get a lot for your money. I love the crab rangoons, the spring rolls and the lo mein. If you’re a seafood lover the coconut shrimp is not to be missed. And, they can accommodate people with dietary restrictions such as Gluten free, vegetarian and even vegan. The staff is always polite and delivery is prompt. If you like Chinese food you are going to love Wok and Roll and it won’t break the bank.

Good food, cheap. A small little hidden gem of Downtown Reading. It’s a convenient, quality choice. My favorite is the Teryaki Chiken, the lo mein and PFR is delicious. UPDATE: The Bourbon Chicken is VERY good. Especially with broccoli. The owners are very nice unless you’re not very nice to them. $ 10 min credit card purchase. Located on Washington Street across from Downtown Reading Berks Encore Enjoy!
