I’ve been going to this library for 23 years. The staff is pleasant and willing to help you locate your books. About a month ago, they did an inside remodel. Everything seems a bit more wide open now. The computers for internet use are always full and there’s 1 particular librarian who will always walk pass all the computers on a 10 minute basis to make sure no one is watching anything innapproiate. Some times I appriciate this, some times it’s irritating. My biggest issue is that I always get stalked at this libraray. I’ve had to have a librarian escort me to my car. Another time a guy followed me to my car without me knowing. I always carry my pepper spray while walking to and from the parking lot. They have free wi-fi, so it’s a nice place to relax from the summer heat.

I figured out that I, being a crafter of needlework, should go to the public library, check out a book, and then, if I like it, later on, order the book, or buy it from B and N. This library is fair. They don’t have every book I want, and I honestly, don’t always use them. The check in is sometimes slow. The computers are available, but often used(heck, I don’t care about that). They have programs during the week that are free. I often check out large printed books for my mom, and this library doesn’t have all that the library on 35th and Noland has. Still, despite what it doesn’t have, it does have, usually, what I want. They also have a nice magazine selection.(once again, what an excellent way to find out if you want to actually go to the store and buy the magazine,) you can read it at the library. I was surprised to see a quilting magazine there. I had ordered a book to be on hold for me, and it took about a week and a half. It was easy to find, once I got into the library. Also, I was approached by a very kind employee asking if I needed any help finding what I was looking for. No matter how well the library shelves are labeled, it’s always nice to have someone help me find a book.
