I enjoyed my stay here, it was clean and the staff was really nice. When I walked in I was greeted by a really friendly hotel clerk he seemed like the kind of person who would take the shirt of his back to help you :) We were able to park our 5th wheel in the back and felt safe. The pool and jacuzzi was really nice and perfect temperature.

We are back three years later(mostly because the kids really liked the pool access, and we really like the Philly cheesesteak place across the street) The room is much the same. All the pros still exist(friendly staff, sleeps six, easy access to room, breakfast, and pool) with several little things to suggest maintenance is not their priority — door closer on the front door was barely hanging on with only half the screws in place — the remote for the fireplace(which didn’t work three years ago) has been removed from the wall(but not the mounting bracket) — one tv’s sound was misconfigured, so dialogue, music, and sound effects were disproportionate and variable. It sounded as if the TV was expecting there to be a center channel speaker. Try as I might, I could find no way to change the sound levels. — the other TV all channels came up ‘channel not available’ or ‘no program available’ — the air conditioner sounds like it is struggling. — there are no luggage racks on which to put any of our numerous suitcases. Summary — if easy access for the handicapped or elderly, with a larger family, is important to you, I could recommend this suite. If a second floor room is acceptable, I’d suggest you check at the hotel next door. A note for taller guests — the ceiling on the shower enclosure is only about 6 ½ feet high. If you’re taller than that, you’ll have to duck just to be in there. The shower head, however, is a hand-held on a generous hose.

It was pretty good. My husband thought the room felt damp, but I wasn’t too bothered by it. The hotel is a good price comparing to others nearby. I liked that breakfast was included, as it’s nice to not make another stop before leaving town. A few things I didn’t like was there wasn’t much light in the bathroom. And if you park in the back, it is not handicap accessible. So we had to carry our wheeled suitcase & cooler down a few steps. If we would have known, we would have parked in the front. Otherwise, it was a decent stay.

It was okay aside from the fact that teenagers were running around till about 11& the guy who closed the door and yelled at us while we were washing laundry(a plus). The breakfast is not appetizing. Their gravy was served in a crockpot and it just seemed sloppy. The ladies that attended it were not happy campers to say the least. Our room was clean and towels were fresh. I don’t think they changed the lines thought even though requested. Nothing to write home about

There are a lot of positives here, but several are qualified positives. The beds are comfy, though the drapes do not do an adequate job of blocking out morning light. Not so bad if you’re in town on business, much less good if you’re on vacation. The continental breakfast features more items than several other hotels, however, I found very little of it appetizing or particularly edible. There is enough variety, though, that you can easily find something, even if it’s filling your plate with yogurts. The location is excellent, in easy proximity to major roads, I-90 as well as several stores, including a Wal-Mart. Say what you want about them, but in a pinch, it’s a lot better to have one of those around than to have to hunt through local grocery stores in a town you may not be familiar with. Parking was also pretty good. There are luggage carts, but oddly no elevator. If you don’t have a room on the ground floor, expect to have to huff and chuff all your stuff up a small flight and then a longer flight of stairs. The pool is a nice amenity, but it is for small children and up. If you have a toddler who likes to swim, this might be better being skipped. There are also oddly a couple video games off the main pool as well. The wifi is nice to have, but it is unsecured and I found it to be very streaky. My laptop did not get along with it well at all, which is very rare. It was also quite irritating. The room had a slight odd odor to it, that we could never quite place and perhaps the biggest annoyance was the lack of a bathroom fan, which is borderline unbelievable to me. Even the cheapest dives I’ve hit have had that and this hotel appears to be somewhat new. Other than that, good stock of towels and tp. I never use the soap or in-room coffee maker, but they were there as was an iron, ironing board and very room closet. I’m fairly fussy about hotels and when I find one I like, I’ll stick with it(I’ve booked the same one in Kearney, NE for my summer vacations since I’ve found it). In this case, it’s not bad, but not perfect enough that I’m going to stop looking on the next trip to Rapid. I don’t know if I will book here or not, depends on what else I find, but next time, I’m definitely aiming for ground floor… I’m still truly amazed at the lack of a bathroom fan… unreal.

I’m pretty picky about hotels, I think this is a 4 star rating for it’s price point but overall I’d give it a 3. The beds were comfortable and the check in was easy. We must have stayed the night during a middle school basketball conference, so it was loud and crazy in the hallways. The room was very clean, although the bathroom is small and there’s no closet. The TV was great to have and parking was accessible. The free breakfast downstairs was the typical coffee, small doughnuts, fruit, bagels, etc. It was appreciated since we didnt have time to find a joint before hitting the road.
