Our family rented a group site. We were surrounded by other group sites full of noisy adults and small children. The 10 pm curfew seemed only to apply to electronics and generators. Luck of the draw, but this weekend we lost. The individual sites are crammed together. River access is minimal save for the boat launch. Campground has nice amenities like hot showers and functional bathrooms. Good campground for people who don’t normally like to camp. Can’t say I would ever go back.

This review is for Cowlitz Falls Campground 889 Peters Road Randle, WA98377 Me and my homegirl Tara decided to go kick it this past weekend by camping near the Cowlitz River, in between Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens with 12 other people. It was certainly an eventful weekend, to say the least. As with the campground, it was located conveniently off Hwy 12 with plenty of signs to direct us to the campground. There were several things that made this a nice campground *Access to showers and toilets– This is essential especially to me since I cannot stand being dirty, and smelling like I should live on the farms in that area! *Racquetball and Volleyball Courts– to play on when it gets boring staring at each other near the fire *Big fire pits– To burn every single cardboard box that was used to carry large amounts of liquor for our mass consumption(yea drinking games) *Roomy picnic tables– to store all of our stuff and play beer pong on *The boat launch — The launch was cool for me and Tara to go and just chill while watching cute couples launching their pontoon boats(can I join the party?) The only drawback is that they have an early 10PM curfew for everyone. I can understand that, but when you have a group section just for big groups, isn’t it expected that we are gonna get a bit loud? Unfortunately, our group was threatened to be kicked out(OOPS).
