Stuft Pizza

I’ve eaten here many times over the past 15 years, and I love their pizza; however, I’m giving them a rating of one star for poor customer service. On three occasions, I’ve called to order take-​out well before the closing time (at least half an hour beforehand), and the staff member on the phone has informed me that they are closed. This is infuriating when I’ve then driven by to pick up pizza from another establishment in the area only to discover that the «open» sign is still lit up and customers are inside still eating! The website also shows that they are open at a later time. The owner needs to rectify the matter by either closing at an earlier time or letting customers know that they can not order past a certain time.

I’ve only ever had takeout from this location, but I do always see a lot of people eating inside. Always been very happy with the pizzas and the selection. The price is also right. Parking is never too much of a problem although I don’t love driving into that lot. The pizza is definitely better than some other local pizza places.

We ordered Take out Pizza. They said it would be ready in 20 min. I arrived about 25 min later, paid (used a Groupon and had no issues with that at all), and was told that my pizzas would be ready in a few minuets.
I had a seat and overheard that staff talking about the next pizzas to prepare and the description were exactly what I ordered. So I asked if they were just starting to make my pizzas and they said yes. They apologized that they were very busy that night. So It ended up being about 30 minuets more. They did offer me a free beer while I waited. But that is just bad service.

Flat out the worst pizza I have had in a very long time.
No flavor, chewey dough, like it was not cooked through, sausages that also still seemed raw. Just horrible.
If you like pizza, don’t go here.

Was not impressed with the Pizza, my coupon was accepted. I ordered 2 topping Pizza, 8 Wings. The wait was lengthy, Pizza did not have that much flavor. Plenty of parking space, right off Western Ave.

Kids love it. Great place to go with the kids, they like playing the games and food is good.

i ordered online and it said it would take 45 – 55 min and i am now waiting at an hour and a half. i called twice and both times they said it would be here any minute… still waiting… never again i dont care how good this pizza is… got here an hour and forty five minutes later

After waiting an hour and a half and several phone calls to see if it was coming and getting told it will be here «any minute» our pizza and wings showed up. We start eating wings first and they taste just like the frozen wings my girlfriend got at Ralph’s the other day and as I’m eating my second wing she notices an eyelash in the ranch that came with them. I misunderstand her and keep eating them and notice a jalapeño in the ranch. STRIKE 4 never again… good luck if u dare

Good pizza at decent prices. The service is a little slow but it is worth it. The salad bar is pretty decent too.

This used
my favorite pizza place. Now I wont give it a second thought… I ordered a large sausage pizza (sausage well. done)…I went and picked it up myself. The pizza was so dry, very little sauce, little cheese and you could count the pieces of sausage on my fingers. So disappointed. Mind you this wasnt the first time either. I wanted to give them another chance, because everyone has an off day… I will not order a pizza from them again. So sad. I was a regular customer (at least 1 or 2 times a month). My business will go elsewhere. Very, very disappointed customer of over 13 plus years.

I don’t love the sauce– but the pizza in general was pretty good. The delivery was fast. I would order again!

I finally got around to trying this place after they majorly pissed me off by not accepting a coupon for a pickup order because I ordered it online rather than phoning it in. Have u heard anything more insane??? The coupon was not expired and exact product was ordered and it said for pickup or dine in. Why should my method of ordering matter?
Anyhoo we ordered two topping za. We had different toppings on each half. I would rate it a 2 as above. I tried both sides. The sauce is sweet-​I prefer a slight kick, the crust tasteless, the peperoni was not cooked enough, and the cheese was sparse. I ordered mushrooms and can’t recall seeing any.
Not going back because there are too many other places with a better product.

This place has been a staple in our family for over 30 years. Even though I live out of state, every time we come to San Pedro this is always a must stop. The Hot Stuft Sandwiches are the bomb!

Unlike other people, I don’t think pizza is pizza. It’s either good, or not-​so-​good. Stuft has very thick crust and fresh ingredients, including hard-​to-​find artichoke hearts which not everyone carries. Yes, the prices are a little high, which is why I’m taking off one star. The cashiers are always kind and friendly too– unlike a lot of other chain places. Yum!

I love Stuft pizzas… pizza. I have been eating their pizza since the 90s. It has a thick crust if u like that kind, it’s crunchy, light and filling all in one.
I haven’t really tried any of the other options. But if you are looking for a good pizza this is your place.

Why would they reserve both sides of the place and when we walk in the place is empty and after you order they say you have 15 min and you have to be out. Last time here it took 30 min to get our food.

The salad bar is delicious. Very fresh. The Everything pizza it’s the way to go. Good service and family friendly!!!

Great pizza! I would give it a 5, but I feel it’s slightly overpriced and the one-​time through salad bar seems a little nit-​picky. Nobody is going to wipe your profits out from eating all your salad. Other than that, very nice local spot!

I’m biased bc my brother works here haha but anyhow I LOVE pizza! DEF my FAVE food! What makes this pizza is that the crust is thick but still crunchy and not soft and soggy. They also pile on toppings. I always just had it when my bro would bring it home but came here with the FAM this past Sunday so we had some fresh pies. It’s located in a shopping plaza, pretty easy to find, lots of parking. There’s quite a few tables, TVs, and like old pizza parlors, video games. I used to love going to places like this as a kid after our softball or basketball games. So you order at the counter and they bring it to you, pretty standard. We got meat lovers and a Thai pizza, but I’m allergic to nuts (bring on the Nut Jokes HAHA) so didn’t try any of that but it seemed to be popular. Also got hot wings and I thought they were good. A plus for me? BEER ON TAP. Ok not the best example to be setting to your younger brother but what can I say? lol. That in itself will make me come back, probably with some friends for football games, and of course when he’s working ;)

3 stars is earned.
I was craving a meat ball sandwich and Stuft PIzza delivers: a gorgeous golden brown from the pizza oven, meaty meatballs, tangy marinara, topped with a generous amount of mozzarela cheese. A tastey meatball sandwich for just $ 7.45.
The side salad was a serve your self affair and all of the ingredients were fresh. I think there were six different kind of dressings and ten kinds of toppings.
Customer service: ok.
Bathrooms: ok
Parking: easy.
Décor: only the interior design held this place to 3 stars: the style is 1980’s dated and looks and feels that way.
Several TV’s show your favorite sports. We were watching U. Mass beat Harvard.
