GHETTOINPARADISE! Recently went on a «tour» of an apt here. First impressions are right on… stay away from this place! The complex was disgustingly dirty and smelly. You could smell cat outside in the parking lots. The sidewalks and stairways are treacherous, to say the least. And I can’t believe that there are not many more injuries because of them. The apt. itself was very outdated, dirty and smelly. I asked about pets and was told they DONOT allow dogs(per Gabriela) only cats, even though you could hear dogs barking throughout the complex! And it didnt matter if they are service animals. And YES, she did know what service animals were, but apparently doesnt understand the law regarding disabilities and service animals. Again, like the rest of the reviews, based on a single visit and less than 10 minutes with the office associate, Gabriela, I would definitely stay away from this place!

The property is ok. the view are great, however the worst part of this complex is the current property manager. she is extremely rude and unprofessional. she is unwilling to speak to tenants and is super dismissive. I would love to get a hold of the owners to let them know that the person managing their property is the WORST manager I have ever interacted with and I have lived in 5 different states. don’t move here until they change property management.

I would put 0 stars if allowed. This complex is falling apart. We’ve had tree branches growing out of our carpet, steps that are cracked and wood that is split and dangerous to walk on. There is no insulation so you can hear your neighbors telephone, alarm clock, television and all bathroom noises. Management is completely oblivious to everything and does not care about tenants well being. They do not answer phone calls and they will avoid you as long as possible. Don’t worry though is your rent is in on the 2nd instead of the 1st you will be certain they will be available to call and remind you its due. Go to Redondo Beach or another complex on the hill, this place is a joke. There is dog poop on the grass and sidewalks despite signs to clean up after your dog. Don’t know where the manager Elizabeth came from but her job is to avoid you at all costs. Her actual job is not to disclose any management information to you as to avoid a law suit. We are in the process of contacting the mayors office, Better Business Bureau and the Building and Safety Commision in Rancho Palos Verdes. Its your choice as an intelligent adult I can strongly suggest you run from the hill… run down!

This is a lovely location. On the end of Hawthorne, you don’t get much of the constant roar of traffic, especially the sirens from the fire/ambulance vehicles that are always screaming down that road. Once you get nestled back into your apartment block, all that fades… mainly because the neighbors are louder than the damn traffic. Maybe it was just our area, I don’t know but the noise was off.the.charts! Kids! Kids screaming, playing trumpets, bouncing soccer balls. Kids fighting, slapping skateboards on the pavement. Meantime, there’s NO insulation in the walls so you’re going to hear your neighbor all the time; their TV, their music, their fights and other things. God help you if they have kids ’cause you’ll hear the kids screaming too. The people we lived next to could not speak in normal tones, they all SCREAMED. The lack of insulation also means you will freeze in the winter and bake all summer long! The laundry rooms are always busy. And the poor stray cats! They have loads of them. God help you if you try to feed them; you will be stalked by this one male tnt. who will curse and threaten you. To be frank; if you’re deaf as a post, hate cats and don’t mind extremes in temps, go on, move in! Otherwise… pass.

I’ve lived in these apartments for 5 years. Not too bad of a place. There were some desirable qualities about P V Victoria. For one, if you shop at Ralph’s, you’re in luck. The place is about was about 10 minutes tops on foot. The view of the ocean and golf course was astonishing. I can’t count how many pictures I’ve taken of it. Neighbors were more or less friendly and actually take walks after 8pm, a big surprise for RPV. 5 pools to keep the tenants distributed. In the beginning, It was like a maze trying to find them, but I liked the adventure. I didn’t have too many issues with maintenance; they were on my good side as far as work quality goes, but still needs to pick up the pace with responses. The place is livable to most people’s standards, I think. But of course, P V Victoria has a dark side. Mostly because the fog is so incredible thick. It’s ‘fog city’ without a doubt during winter and spring. This goes great with the weak heating systems. It can get very cold(50*F), unless if you keep the small heaters on the whole day. The pools heat up when they want and the workout room always has a damaged machine. It makes me think the managers are messing with me. Rent rules are strict as ever. Can’t take long showers if living with others. Parking is covered but not closed. But overall it was nice staying there. It’s a 10 minutes drive to Penn High, and a shopping center. The positives outweighs the negatives :)
